as an elementary art teacher, i can tell you for a fact that if reigen had started mentoring mob when he was in 1st grade, they would have had this interaction at least once:

"shishou, what's your favorite color?"

"oh, uhh, blue."

"okay"

(some markers get pulled out, some scribbling commences)

over the next ten minutes: "Shishou, what is the kanji for your name?" "Shishou, can you show me how to draw a heart?"

and then he comes back with something like "I love you, Reigen-shishou!" with a blue heart that reigen drew FOR him 😭 and reigen is just like 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
