I got a comment on small home repair viking which I can only reasonably respond to with a meme but I can't get the meme to post in ao3 and like, I don't want to put the commenter on blast or anything here because what they said is fine, it's just like

drives when they’re going somewhere: both, they alternate

rearranges the furniture: neither of them. they never feel the need to do that. unless fred decides he needs to do some deep cleaning of the house then he’ll get fp to move the furniture out of the way but theres no actual rearranging

falls asleep with the TV on: both. theyre old and tired.

gets to use the bathroom first: whoevers fastest/wakes up first

decides the temperature for the ac/heater: oh thats always a fight cuz freds always cold and fps always hot

sets up holiday decorations: fred decides when christmas decorations go up and fps in charge of halloween but they both help each other

leaves the lights on: fred

uses the bathroom with the door open: fp the absolute barbarian

fixes the plumbing (or calls the plumber): freds got a little more skill but they both can fix a pipe

rearranges the furniture: i can see steve getting bored and rearranging the house while billys at work

gets to use the bathroom first: another race but bold of us to assume billy wouldnt just piss in the sink if steve was hogging the bathroom. the boy is nasty. but also they both spend so much time on their hair they cannot afford to be taking turns 

decides the temperature for the ac/heater: and another fight because billy hates being cold and steve doesnt think the heater needs to be blasted in 70 degree weather

sets up holiday decorations: steve does christmas billy does halloween

leaves the lights on: steve

uses the bathroom with the door open: billys nasty ass strikes again

fixes the plumbing (or calls the plumber): steve always insists on calling a plumber but billy grumbles about throwing away money when he can just fix it himself (plus he looks hotter with a tool belt steve quickly finds out) (also possibly set up for hilarious scenario is billy never having fixed anything in his life besides his car and he figures plumbing cant be that different from a car engine. it is. madness ensues and steves yelling about “CAN I CALL THE PLUMBER NOW?!”)
