“Oh no, Mob’s voice actor is changing because the old one is in a union!”
No I’m pretty sure Itō Setsuo’s not in a union, and he’s still voicing Mob. The guy who helped Funimation vandalize Mob is being replaced because he’s in SAG, and SAG presumably asked for more money to do a bad job that nobody should even have wanted in the first place.
There was also something about some Breath of the Wild actor complaining about the contract not offering royalties, when that game has one of the worst dubs I’ve ever heard. Nintendo shouldn’t be paying him royalties, every no-talent in the dub should be paying us damages.
