Sleep walk BTS post!
will go in depth with my process and put better quality drawings in here!
Before any of this i was listening to several fiddauthor/ford playlists to hear a song that really got my brain moving. Funny enough i didn't get Sleep walk from one of the 100+ song playlists i was listening to, it was in my oc playlist (thats a mad scientist who would've thought). Originally i wanted to make a fiddauthor animatic (who knows maybe i will), but THIS SONG just caught my brain in a way i couldn't refuse.
So i technically started working on it the late night of September 27, exactly a week ago! which yes yes i hear you all in unison go "WHAT???" to that, and all I have to say to that is.... I have untreated adhd and lots of caffeine in my system! (honestly felt like ford sometimes while workin on that animatic)
Started it off with some notes, then thumbnails. I had my tbob AND J3 open next to me stood up with clips for reference (prob looked a little insane looking back but its fine)
now for the rough animatic! i did this in Adobe animate 2022 (i'll get back to that later) the only thing that really got changed was i wanted to add the diner scene from j3. i realize now that it messed up the timeline i was going for with the animatic but i like to think things are out of order because of the state ford is in, things start to merge together.
After i sat with this rough animatic for a bit, i wasn't sure if i was going to make it in Adobe animate (what i usually do) or make it all in Clip Studio Paint. I wanted this animatic to be way more visually interesting then i usually do, so CSP it is. But! i only have CSP Pro, so i had to draw and export every single new frame from this animatic.
it was a little tedious at first (again never done an animatic like this before) but i got used to it! I edited it all together in CapCut and thats really it!
The missing J3 pages from TBOB spoke to me in a way that im not fully comfortable talking about to my followers. I put a lot of myself in this animatic then i'd want to realize, it's very important to me. The night when i uploaded it i was literally shaking with anxiety (and caffeine-) but the overwhelming support for it is really amazing, thank you so much! if you have any more questions please ask away i love talking about the art process.
Below im going to talk about the code and put HD backgrounds!
thank you for dyemro on here for cracking the code first! now i can talk about my insane little thought process about it
So i never planned to add a code until halfway through with the animatic. i was watching ThatGFFan videos and him talking about gravity falls codes got my brain cooking. i wanted something sweet and simple (i realize with dyemro's post it wasn't as simple as i thought, give me some slack it's my first time). like what you should with making codes you start at the end. And i wanted something that was a nice send off for drawing ford be fucking miserable for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
so i got this. (honestly every time i look at this drawing after finishing the animatic it makes me real emotional)
There are 4 codes in this whole animatic 0:02, 0:15, 0:30, and 0:58
wanted the first one to be REAL noticeable so people can stop and be like "wait... theres stuff in here". people usually think to use the bill symbols, but no! from the description theres a little hint to use the Author symbols
doing that code it leads to: imgu r.com /a/uZa iVfu (and if you know that double line a under a letter means capitalization + im a dumb dumb that used a code image that didn't have a Z so thats just a normal Z)
it makes a LINK! > imgur.com/a/uZaiVfu <
now enough of that boring stuff, heres some HD screenshots and backgrounds of my fav parts

When Nessa proposed she wanted to set you up with her boyfriends frat mate, you didn’t know what to expect. All you knew was that she was desperate to help you loose your virginity.
So, after a couple days of convincing, you give in. But not before calling your best friend to drag him along. You call Joel immediately after Nessa tells you about the party. He had been your best friend since 6th grade. You met him in math class and after pestering him for a piece of gum. When he finally gave in, you continued to pester him until you completely weaseled your way into his life. And since then, you had been inseparable.
You and Joel had watched each other go through countless crushes and relationships, but nothing stuck for either of you. Joel was a little more proactive, and had done a lot more than you had ever done. Including losing his virginity. But, you promised each other to keep each other in the loop. So here you are, last minute on the Wednesday before the party, waiting for him to pick up as the phone rings.
"Jo, hey." You say quickly after he picks up.
"What's up, Buttercup?" He says, panting slightly.
"You good?"
"Yeah, sorry, I'm just at the job sight." He says, trying to catch his breath.
"Still? It's 7?" You frown, looking at the alarm on your desk.
"Yeah, Dad's got us cleaning and shit." He sighs, "so what's up?"
"Oh, yeah. Right." You laugh, "What are your plans Friday night?"
"Tommy's got a football game, but I can get out of it if you wanted to do something." He answers.
"There's a party. A Halloween party." You say, flipping a page of your textbook and start writing.
"Oh, y'know I'm not really into that kinda shit." He says. You can picture the little scowl he unintentionally does.
"Please? For me?" You whine.
"Why do you want me to go so bad, college?" He chuckled. You can imagine him standing at the job sight. Breathing heavy in his work pants and neon orange t-shirt. He'd be panting slightly, beads of sweat running down his forehead, curls messy and hands dirty from a tough day at work. His biceps bulging in the t-shirt and his thighs tight against the fabric of his pants.
"Nessa is trying to set me up with one of the football guys, I need my bodyguard just in case things get rocky." You says, the eraser of your pencil pressing against your lip as you read and talk,
"Nessa? Your roommate?" He asks. Joel and Nessa don't get along.
"Please, Jo." You drag out his nickname.
"I don't wear costumes." He says flatly.
"What if i buy you one?" You propose.
"You're not spending money on me." He argues.
"Wear dark clothes. I'll just get a mask or something." You suggest, "you don't even have to wear it, just hold it."
He sighs from the other line, "Fine. I'll wear dark clothes. And I'll be at your dorm at 7:30."
"Really?" You ask, smiling brightly as you look down at your desk with a smitten face.
"Really, Princess." That's what he called you whenever you got you way. It always made you feel like you had a little butterfly flying around your rib cage.
"Thank you. I love you." You giggle, going back to writing notes.
"Love you too, College." He says, you can hear the smirk in his voice. "Well, I gotta go. I'll see you then?"
"See you then, Jo."

The crowd is immediately overwhelming to Joel. As the group approaches the frat house, there a guy throwing up an the sidewalk. He's dressed as Luigi. His mustache lays crumbled at his feet while he groans. Joel automatically thinks of 3,001 excuses to get the hell out of there. But each excuse is thrown away after he thinks about you. What if something happens to you? So he stays. Stuffing part of the werewolf mask you bought into his back pocket. Reluctantly grabbing a beer from the huge cooler once you're inside and cracking it open. He watches as you and Nessa take out your own alcohol and soda can to make a mixed drink.
Earlier that night, he arrived at your dorm to see you all dolled up. A winged liner and a cherry red lipstick being the most notable out of your makeup look. For him at least. You were wearing a white, pirate styled shirt with a worn brown vest. In a material that made Joel cringe slightly. Your skirt was fluffy, and short, exposing your thighs in the cold air. You wore converse, just like he had. You were dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. Shoving a cheap werewolf mask into his hands, thanking him for wearing exactly what you had told him. Which was a navy crewneck and dark denim. He was your big bad wolf.
He sighs, standing beside them, feeling wildly out of place. You had brought him to the same frat before. After a Longhorns game. An invitation reached out by Nessa and her boyfriend who was in the frat. But before then, he was drinking and it was easier to make conversation about football, and not his shitty costume. He swallows his pride and watches you giggle with your bad influence of a roommate. Or so he believed her to be.
You turn to see him staring, throwing a crooked smile in his direction before taking a long sip of your drink. Which had mostly alcohol and a drop of Dr Pepper. "Can you hold my soda, Joel?" You ask, with your usual puppy eyes and fake pout.
He grumbles and grabs it from you, double fisting a Busch lite and your Dr Pepper. While holding your soda and following you around, all Joel could think about were his little brothers words. 'You're the boyfriend with absolutely no benefits.' And Joel couldn't deny it any longer. He helped move you into your dorm, he picks you up when you drink too much with Nessa, he holds you when your shitty boyfriends screw you over, and he holds your drinks at parties so you can flirt with other guys. And he gets nothing but a 'thanks Joel! You're the best!'
It took him way too long to realize that he's the friend zone king. He sits on its shitty throne next to the guy who says 'Where's my hug?' His stomach churns. His throat burning hot and his head is spinning.
"Nessa said Kayden and Theo are on the lawn." You shout over the music into Joel's ear, the proximity making his heart jump.
"The hell are they doin' out there?" He asks back.
"Keg-stand, fucking idiots." You grumble and Joel laughs, agreeing. Which earns him a glare from Nessa. To which he sticks his tongue out back.
Nessa grabs onto you, leading you out towards the lawn. You immediately grab onto Joel's forearm and drag him with you two. He sighs, downing half of his beer as he walks with you to the lawn. A sea of drunk college students dressed in silly or slutty costumes litter the lawn. Nessa's boyfriend, Theo, is in the middle of a keg stand, and Kayden is cheering from the side with a jug full of alcohol. God, Joel wanted to lose his shit and bang on his chest in pure anger. You were nervous about that fucker?
You look to Joel with an uneasy smile, he doesn't return it. "How do I even communicate with him?" You ask Joel.
"You run away as fast as you can," he gives you an unimpressed look as he says it. He's not joking.
You give him an exaggerated eye roll and shake your head. "You told me you'd be good for advice, Miller."
"That's my best advice, Princess," he says easily, crossing his arms over his chest. His beer can lazily hanging in his fingertips. Which are lightly gripping the top.
You swallow, watching as Kayden chugs an impressive amount of whatever alcohol was mixed in the jug of what used to be Arizona tea. "I guess I should probably introduce myself."
Joel's jaw clenches as he watches you go, wanting to grab you and shake sense into you. What could you possibly see in that guy? What could possibly be romantic about a arizona jug with a unexplained green liquid sloshing around inside it? What could possibly be attractive about the piss-water beer he was spilling all over himself. With one tight squeeze, he crashes the can, wandering away to find a recycle bin.
He heads back inside reluctantly, chewing the inside of his cheek while his mind churns out a million scenarios where you turn out hurt. Or someone else's. A huff escapes his lips as he tosses the can into the recycle bin and immediately heads into the kitchen for another. In the kitchen, there's a group of other Mario characters. Joel clocks them as Luigi's group. He wonders if they know poor Luigi is puking his guts out.
Laughing to himself, he cracks open a second beer and leans against the counter, observing as people come and go from the kitchen. He sips slowly, judging people's costumes, laughter, and their drunken speeches. He wonders how people got drunk so fast, or if him and your group really arrived as late as Nessa made it seem. He sets his beer down next to him, still holding onto your Dr Pepper. His hand covering the open top. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees a princess peach approaching. Her dress short, and white knee high boots. Her blonde hair was curled and she had a tiny crown on her head. She looked good.
"You're bleeding." She says, pointing to his empty hand. Looking down, he realized he must've cut himself while crushing his can in his earlier frustration.
He looks back up with a slow blink, "thanks." He grumbles, not really sure what to say, "you know if they keep a first aid kit in this dump?"
Peach laughs with a nod, moving past him and looking under the sink. She grabs out a small, red first aid kit. Joel sets down your Dr Pepper. He moves to the sink, washing off the blood from the small, deep cut. He rips a paper towel from his freehand and dabs the cut. Once he's finished, Peach put a paw patrol bandaid on the left side of his palm, where the cut is.
"All fixed, soldier." She says with a giggle.
"Thanks," he says, inspecting the bandaid made for children, "oh, and if you're missing a Luigi, he's out on the lawn. Buddy seems like he's had a rough night.
Peach let's out a loud giggle, Joel flinches at the sound. "Oh, that's just Damon. He's been drinking since noon."
"Since noon?"
"Yeah, it's normal i promise." She says, her hand falling onto his bicep as she laughs. She squeezes it lightly and his eyes widen slightly.
Joel shifts, not really sure how to handle a unwanted touch from a stranger. Her hand dropped as soon as it came. He let out a huff in relief, shifting his converse against the kitchen tile. "He should probably stop drinkin' so much." He said awkwardly.
Peach shrugs, "it's college."
At the tail end of their conversation, you slip into the kitchen. You're red hood is down now, and your solo cup is completely empty. Having been downed after you listens to Kayden tell you about football through a slurred voice. After realizing there was no chance of social resuscitation, you head inside to find Joel. Hopefully getting the hell out of there. You walk through the sliding glass door and through the dining room. When you reach the kitchen you stop in you tracks at the sight of Joel.
As you stand there, a realization creeps up on you. You've seen this film. You've seen it a thousand times. Every time you've entered a room, you've watched it play. A perfect play through every single time. Joel stands against the kitchen counter with another beer in his hands. He's grumbling something to a girl dressed as Princess Peach. As she laughs at what he said, her delicate hand slaps his bicep, grabbing onto it as she leans forward and lets out a flirtatious giggle. You watch him blink slowly, realizing whatever he said to the girl wasn't a joke. He wasn't trying to be funny.
Continuing to watch, you stand in the entrance. He stands up from where he was leaning on the counter, no longer relying on it to hold him up. You watch as he slams his second beer, your Dr Pepper still in his right hand. His hand is covering the top. Another few blinks and his whiskey eyes are on you.
Everything from there feels like a total cliche. He turns away from Princess Peach, eyes still on you. He mutters a farewell. You watch him closely as he stares you down. He's crossing the room, eyes fixated on your form. The white pirate-styled top, and the brown vest. His eyes fall to the short red skirt and the beat up converse on your feet. The noise around you cancels out into merely a whisper, your heartbeat gets faster as you realize what's happening to you. No, what's happened. What's always been there. What is becoming so painfully obvious that you physically can't keep up with the way your brain spins.
He's there and everyone else is just an obstacle. Blocking you from running to him. You wonder if that's how it's been this whole time. If your own stupidity and oblivious nature has been your obstacle this whole time. If this moment was destined since you had plopped a boat made out of the gum wrapper from the gum he gave you on his desk in 6th grade. You wonder if had he asked you to homecoming instead of Charlie Winkler, would you have already realized it. Would you have already realized that there's absolutely no one in this world that makes you feel the way he does?
As he gets closer, fire spreads through your body, and suddenly he's grabbing your wrist. He says something, but you're locked into a shock induced state. You completely zone out as his face leans closer. Your eyes take in his thick, furrowed brow and the slight scrunch on his forehead. His lips are downturned and you suddenly realize how long it's been since he's shaved. His stubble much longer than he had ever kept it before.
"Hey, you good?" His smooth drawl snaps you back into reality, he's waving a large hand in front of your face, "Earth to College."
You blink a few times, "Joel. Hi." You choke out awkwardly, staring at him.
"You good? Where's Kyle?"
"Kayden." You correct, throwing out your solo cup. Then grabbing the Dr Pepper from his hands and throwing that out too.
"Same thing," he shrugs, "Where is he?"
"I wasn't into him." You say quickly, "Wanna get some air? I'm feeling a little overwhelmed."
He immediately looks concerned, his hand landing on the small of your back, "What's wrong? Are you alright?"
You nod quickly, "I'm fine, i promise. C'mon, let's go upstairs."
You grab his hand and lead him out to the living room and up the stairs of the frat. He follows behind, holding onto your hand tightly. He looks behind and around himself, not really knowing what to expect. Or what people would think about people heading into the bedroom of a frat member without said frat member being present.
You reach a door with Theo's name on it. Carefully, you peak your head in. Once you know it's clear of horny and drunk college students, you open the door fully. Joel steps through, looking around at the slightly messy room.
"You're sure we can be up here?" Joel says, awkwardly shifting his weight as you plop down on Theo's bed.
"He said I could use it if i needed too." You smile, playing with the hem of your skirt.
He just nods, converse dragging slightly on the rug under his feet and towards the bed. As he sits down slowly, you listen to the muffled music from the yard. A shitty, yet classic, Pitbull song plays and you hear drunken screams. You ignore it, not wanting to focus on anything else but the overbearing scent of Joel's teakwood cologne. The one you got him for his 20th birthday. How was he so perfect?
"So, that kid didn't catch your interest?" Joel asks, his sweaty hands rubbing on the denim covering his thighs.
"He smelled like wet pennies," you laugh, nudging his shoulder lightly.
He laughs with you. It's thunderous sound, one you've always been incredibly fond of. You giggle slightly, a lovesick haze clouding your brain as he looks over to you. For a moment, it's quiet between you both. A complete contrast to the chaos outside. Both of your breathing the only sound left in the room. His eyes flicking from your eyes to your cherry red lips. He snaps out of his daze, looking forwards, "I think if someone told me I smelled like pennies, I'd cry." He says teasingly, nudging your knee.
"You don't smell like pennies." You lean closer.
"Promise?"
"Promise." You nod, giggling as you lean your head on his shoulder.
His arm wraps around you, rubbing your shoulder over your smooth red cape. The hood tangled in the back from ripping it off your head after Kayden accidentally spilled his unidentified alcohol beverage on it earlier. You nuzzle your head on his muscular shoulder, inhaling his strong scent. His navy crewneck is soft against your cheek as you look down at the dark denim on his strong thighs.
You both sit in silence for a few moment, the tension in the air getting thicker as the seconds tick by. Eventually, you get restless. Your voice cuts through the quiet room as you lift your head up slightly to look up at him. "You want to stay with me in the dorms tonight?" You ask softly.
"I would love that." he says softly, leaning forward and placing his forehead on yours. His hand reaches to grab your wrist as it sits on your lap. He rubs your wrist slowly, running across a prominent vein that meets your palm.
Suddenly, his free hand wraps around the back of your head, gently and quickly pulling you in. Before you can process whats happening, his lips press against yours. You melt into the kiss without another thought. His hand slides down and holds your face, his other hand dropping your wrist and reaching up behind your head. His long fingers running through your hair as you kiss. Your hands lay on his chest, squeezing him slightly when he pressed deeper. The kiss turns to into a heavy make out as he starts getting a bit carried away at the taste of your cherry lipstick. The kiss gets sloppy, making you squeeze your thighs together from the sudden burn between your legs. He breaks the kiss, breathing heavy, his hands on your hips. He's looking down at you with rosy cheeks. "Was that okay?" His voice was soft.
You pant softly, your lips swollen from his passionate kiss. "Mhm," you nod.
He quickly steals another kiss from you, shifting to face you. You go right back to making out again. He has a tight hold on your waist with one hand. His left hand traveling up to your back. You hold yourself up on the bed with your hand spread behind you. Your arm is thrown over his shoulder and around the back of his neck. His tongue pushes against yours, pulling you in for a kiss. It lasts for a few seconds that seem to be last a lifetime. His hand grips tighter at your waist, breathing heavily after he eventually broke the kiss. "I want you.." He whispers. His eyes are heavy and he's gazing at you in a way you didn't believe was possible.
"I'm yours." You whisper without another thought, smiling.
He pulls himself even closer, slowly and gently lying you down before leaning on top of you. He places his hand flat on your spine, whilst his other hand goes to your thigh. He kisses your neck and collarbone, the taste of your skin driving him crazy. For a moment, he loses himself in the taste, before he begins to wonder if you're feeling alright. He pauses again, letting himself catch breath before checking on you. "Are you comfortable? Do you want to continue this?"
You nod, your fingers playing with the curls on the back of his neck. His hand is on your thigh, rubbing it lightly. "Yeah, I'm comfortable." You nod softly.
He beams, a slight huff of excited laughter hitting your face. "You'll let me know if it's too much?" He asks softly, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
"Mhm." You hum, pushing his head down to continue the kiss. He happily accepts the invitation, squeezing your thigh gently as his other arm is still wrapping under you as you lay on Theo's bed.
You both make out for a few more minutes. The touches become more and more heated with each second. Your nails dig into his shoulders as his hand travels up your thigh to rest on your hip underneath your skirt. A small moan rumbles against his lips as your back arched slightly against the mattress. His finger loops under the band of underwear on your hip.
As he begins to tug slightly, the door flys open and you and Joel rip apart from each other. Joel hops off the bed, scratching the back of his neck as his other hand travels to his front pocket. A poor attempt to hide the bulge in his jeans. You sit up on the bed, fixing your skirt and hair as you both look at the door.
Theo and Nessa stand at the door, their jaws dropped open at the sight in front of them. “No way,” A drunken Nessa giggled, covering her mouth.
“Nessa! Hi!” You squeak, getting up from the bed as the two drunken vampires giggle.
Joel’s face is beet red as his hands are stuck into his front pockets. You look over to see red lipstick smudged on his lips, some even in his stubble. You got hit with embarrassment, using your thumb to wipe around your lips to wipe off any smudged lipstick. “We were just getting some air.”
“More like sharing some air,” Theo laughs.
“Go back to the dorms,” Nessa smirks. “I’ll be here tonight.”
Instead of arguing you nod, grabbing onto Joel’s arm and leading him out of the room. The door closes behind you and you both look at each other in awe and embarrassment.
“Dude.” You breath out, a slow smile creeping onto your lips.
“That…” he tries to find words in his flustered state, “that was awkward.”
You both laugh, leaning into each other in a post make out haze. He tugs you into his arms for a moment, pulling you close as he rubs your back slowly. He presses a firm kiss to the crown of your head before pulling apart again.
“Should we head to your dorm?” He asks softly, biting the inside of his lip.
You smirk, grabbing his wrist. “C’mon, cowboy.”

because apparently i fucking hate myself, i felt a compulsion to try to transcribe some of Minutetech's last stream. Here's the transcript of Minutetech getting Impeached. Idk if it's all fully accurate, these fuckers love crosstalk more than life itself.
Long post, so below cut. Or on Google Docs,
Mapicc: Minutetech and I have made a bet. If I can get 14 people to oust him publicly. He will hold a reelection.
Mapicc: Right now we have 5, Baconnwaffles, Mapicc, Princezam, um, Roshambo and Jepex. THats five. I'm now going to go down the list, unmute people and if you want to say you are ousting Minute, you can now. We'll start with Wemmbu.
Wemmbu: Hello Chat, I'd like to oust Minute.
Mapicc: Okay, what does that make, 6/14? I'll unmute you now Minute, just so you can help me keep count while we go.
Minute: hello. So you're going to force them into making a decision before I can disprove the lies in that video? Is that what we're doing here?
Mapicc: I'm pretty sure we're going down the list to oust people. you can make a response afterwards, but that's kinda defeating-
Minute: That's what I just said, that you're trying to make them make a decision before I can disprove the lies in that video or what.
Roshambo: Let's do it by votes. Do you guys want to hear Minute's response or has that been enough proof?
Bacon: Jumperwho and Pentar say yes. Thank you for your input.
Mapicc: I think I'm going to go down the list and unmute people, you can make a response video on your own time, Minute. We're not gonna sit here for 30 minutes and have a debate, that's not the purpose of this vc.
Minute: Alright, I'll make a response video and see if their answers change.
Mapicc: Okay. We'll start with Poafa. Poafa do you oust Minute?
Poafa: I believe that Minutetech is an imposter, just like among us.
Mapicc: Is that a?
Poafa: I oust Minute.
Mapicc: Okay, thank you, Jesus Christ. What is that, 6 now?
Minute: 7
Mapicc: 7/14. We'll go next with Woogie. Hello Woogie, do you oust Minute?
Woogie: I like everything you've done, but I think, without a response I have to say I oust Minute.
Mapicc: 8 out of what? 14. We'll next go with Spoke.
Minute: I have a response, it's just they're not letting me say it, so. Keep that in mind.
Roshambo: Well, if you have a good response-
Spoke: Dog, can I wait till he gives a response?
Mapicc: No.
Minute: Oh! Convenient, convenient! Convenient response from Mapicc.
Zam: You can just choose to not oust him.
Bacon: Fine fine,
Zam: What do you mean? You can just choose to not oust him, I feel like, what?
Minute: He just said can we wait, and Mapicc just yapped no.
Ro?Leo?: Zam, Zam. What if we all say like 'we're not to oust him' and Minute's like 'yeah i'm not going to give a response now' That was our once chance to like, actually get him out of office
Mapicc: Okay. Fine, what would you like to say Minute?
Zam: I thought we had until next weekend?
Minute: You have until next weekend.
Mapicc: I'm allowed to ask people to oust now. But if you would like to respond, you can make a response video.
Minute: Oh, I have a response video, don't worry.
Spoke: I can change my answer?
Ro: Wait, Aren't you going to- Let's hear your response now?
Minute: I can bring up the video, I can go through it, I can bring up old recordings, I can do all that.
Mapicc: I don't want to watch you look through recordings.
Minute: Hey, I got the time, do you have the time?
Mapicc: No. Not everybody has the time, dude.
Spoke: Okay, whip up a video, whip up a video.
Mapicc: Oh my god.
Bacon: We don't have time for him to whip up a video
Mapicc: We don't have time for him to edit a video
Minute: Shall we postpone this?
Spoke: I'm going to oust him now, but like. He can drop a video, I'll just change my answer if it's fire.
Ro: Okay, so let's keep going down the list.
Mapicc: Okay, so you oust him now, right Spoke?
Spoke: Uhuh.
Mapicc: Okay, what is that 10/14?
Minute: 8, wait what? Did we?
Bacon: I'm really glad we unmuted Minute for the counting, because he's way better at this than Mapicc.
Mapicc: Okay, so 9/14. We'll go next for 4C. 4C do you oust Minute?
4CVIT: uh, my mic was muted. This is uh, this is a really interesting discussion. Like meeting, I was not prepared for this today. Um, oh my goodness, I want to hear Minute's response, and I want to talk to Minute. But for now, I'll explain later, I will oust Minute, yes.
Mapicc: And that makes? You do the counting Minute.
Minute: I believe that's 10 now right?
Mapicc: Probably. Alright, we'll go down to Reddoons. Reddoons do you oust Minute?
Reddoons: Well, my friends are saying to oust Minute, so I'm falling to peer pressure. I'm saying oust Minute, this is definitely a gaslit, peer pressure decision, definitely no other ulterior motive. Oust MinuteTech.
Mapicc: Okay, that's 11. Planetlord, do you oust Minute?
Planet: Um, hey, so, Minute, um, you know, you're a great guy and all, I can't- You don't understand this all right now but I'm sorry, I'm going to have to say yes.
Mapicc: So that's 12/14? We'll go to Spepticle. Spepticle do you oust Minute?
Spepticle: Um, hello. I don't think I can oust Minute, yeah. I don't. Yeah, that's all I'm going to say.
Mapicc: I guess I'll unmute Pentar, and I'll unmute Jumper, you guys want to say your piece? You don't oust Minute right?
Jumper: I don't.
Pentar: Would you believe me if I say that I don't oust Minute.
Mapicc: I do believe you, I do believe you. So what are we on right now? 11/14?
Minute: 12 I think.
Mapicc: 12, okay. LeoWook, this is an interesting one, do you oust Minute, LeoWook?
LeoWook: No.
Mapicc: Ok.
LeoWook: What? “this is really interesting”
Mapicc: Okay. So we have what? 11/14 right now Minute?
Minute: 12, 12, 12! Jesus, 12!
Mapicc: Okay, 12.
Mapicc: There's got to be an easier
Zam: I am shocked how many times it was counted wrong, I'm actually in shock. It's been counted wrong so many times dude.
Mapicc: You're mean to me
Zam: Bro, lock the fuck in.
Ro: We're at 12, we're at 12.
Mapicc: Okay, we're at 12. Spoke, do you want to make an announcement for people to react to, that way they can change their thing whenever they want? And the final poll will go down
Spoke: Wanna oust Minute? Reply with a checkmark if so.
Bacon: react with a checkmark
Spoke: He will be kicked and a president will be elected. Okay this is about to be the craziest-
Mapicc: How would this have worked Minute? If I did get 14 people, would we have just hosted a reelection right now or?
Minute: It would have happened at session, and then. Depending if people change their minds
Mapicc: That's interesting.
[Segment removed by Transcriber due to talking about poop]
Mapicc: I thought it was, Once you hit 14 we host a reelection then.
Minute: I said- hold on hold on hold on
Wemmbu: That aside, that aside, that aside. In your original video Minute, you said before session.
Minute: Didn't I say by session?
Mapicc: I think you said before
Minute: I said if I get 14 people to say that before session, than the next session's policy would be reelection.
Ro: So what are we at right now? 12.
Mapicc: If you just voted to oust Minute, go to the announcement and react positively, you can take your thing off if he convinces you later. But just so we have a count for right now.
Bacon: The X doesn't do anything guys, if your wondering.
Spoke: It's for like, uh,
Bacon: It's for moral support i guess.
Spoke: It's for interactions, engagements.
Mapicc: Who are we missing that hasn't reacted yet. Oh, Zam, Ro.
Ro: Oh sorry.
Poafa: Which ones which?
Mapicc: What the fuck do you mean which ones which?
Bacon: So the checkmark is for if you want him to be ousted, and the X is for. I don't know, if you want to react with an X.
Mapicc: Hold on, we need an extra reaction for the Jepex's of the community. He can just do it later.
Ro: We can just imagine it's plus one for Jepex, right?
Mapicc: Yeah, can we do 12? It counts as 12 right now Minute?
Minute: Uh, yeah. Current count is 12.
Mapicc: Hold on. This is interesting. This is a closer number than you had expected, Minute?
Minute: I figured there was a moment where it might have gotten to this.
Mapicc: Really? You expected it to hit 11?
Zam: 12!
Minute: After you guys said your response I figured some of the votes might get to this.
Mapicc: It's 11 in the reactions.
Minute: It's 12 total though
Zam: Okay, but it's 12 total though.
Mapicc: Yes, it's 12 total, i said 11 cause the thing. What the fuck are you doing Poafa?
Zam: Does our amazing current president want to come on stage and say anything?
Leo: I think Minute should defend himself
Ro: Yeah, why can't we settle this now? You do your response now.
Minute: I can do this now, it's just that I'm eventually going to have to pull up recordings to disprove a lot of what you've done.
Spoke: There's receipts
Zam: That's okay, can you do some-
Minute: I can do a start now. So what was the first part of the video? You said, um, Foundation was some lie or whatever?
Zam: Publicity stunt. It might have not started out as one, but it did become one.
Ro: I said that you, uh. The Abyss Arc, and the Presidency Arc. The presidency Arc was planned before the Abyss, and there's a screenshot.
Minute: When I say Abyss Arc and Foundation created, you know that was like back in January right, not March where you pulled the screenshot from. How can that be possible? Did I time travel?
Ro: There's screenshots from before the abyss arc, no? When was Abyss arc?
Minute: When the Abyss was created, like January.
Jumper: January 13th.
Bacon: It was before the week of Abyss, before like the Foundation-
Ro: A better landmark would be when was Foundation created?
Minute: Back in January, we have recordings Ro, why are we being so oblivious?
Jumper: January 13th
Zam: But we've had plans for an Election Arc far before um.
Minute: It started back in March, like earliest is March.
Zam: No I said further, before January-
Minute: Well after we founded Foundation was already created and we were knee deep in our goals. Right.
Zam: I'm saying before January, are you hearing me or no?
Minute: You're saying presidency was discussed before January?
Zam: It was!
Ro: I do agree with that. I recall talking about it in an airport, and that was probably traveling over winter break.
Bacon: Let's be real here also. The Foundation was not. When the Foundation was started, Minute was not like immediately active. Minute really locked in for the most part, on the Foundation when it got to like the last month. Which is at the time when-
Minute: That's not true at all, I got active on it the day the Foundation was created. Like I have recordings of this. What is this?
Zam: Did Planet and Ro move the elder guardian on the nether roof or...
Minute: I was right there with them! Hello? Oh Clown's on.
Jumper: You know Minute and I had meetings like every other day, right? Like we had so many meetings outside
Zam: You would know Jumper, you would know.
Jumper: Yeah I would, cause I have recordings of it!
Mapicc: I have something interesting. Minute, I'd like you to go to the announcements page of the discord right now.
Minute: Okay, what's going on?
Mapicc: It's currently 12 right now, we need 14 total. If anybody else, who hasn't voted yet would like to click on the react, you may now do so.
Minute: Did we not just go over this? Why are we trying to change the subject once I started disproving things?
Ro: That's 14.
Mapicc: Click on it. I think that's 14 Minute.
Minute: Okay, so by rule, if that number doesn't change or go below 14 then we'll have a reelection
Wemmbu: Nah nah nah nah nah. That is not what you said in the video.
Ro: You said before session.
Minute: If by before session we have 14 people
Wemmbu: You said before session, it's before session
Minute: Okay wait did we not just go over this right now in vc? like people have time to change their vote hello?
Wemmbu: Yes, for the session.
Minute: What are you saying? you just said people might change their minds or not
Wemmbu: Yes, you can change people's minds for when the, the election at the session.
Mapicc: You try and get reelected
Wemmbu: So now you need to do a reelection on Saturday and you can try to win that election.
Minute: If it stays at 14 yeah.
Wemmbu: No, that was not in the original video. We will quote the video
Minute: Okay okay, so did we not just talk about in VC the number could go up or down? now it's changing now you guys magically have 14?
Mapicc: Oh my God.
Zam: Minute loves twisting narratives afterwards. This is so interesting.
Ro: Minute, listen to me, listen to me. Minute, Minute, Minute, if you're arguing that it shouldn't change then why should it change from what you said in the video?
Wemmbu: Exactly.
Minute: Okay what do you say? Okay wait hold on, I didn't hear you okay what you said-
Ro: And what you said in the video is if I get 14 votes before the session on Saturday.
Minute: Look at the number now what does that mean! What? Oh now it's 15 okay fuck.
Bacon: Okay wait, I have a question, I have a question who added those extra votes? cuz it seemed like it was pretty-
Mapicc: It seemed like it was like-
Zam: Mid Mystic one as well wow,
Mapicc: I'm curious Minute, who added those votes?
Minute: Okay so now so now okay so now you cross the threshold we're going to ignore the whole conversation we just had in vc where you said the number could go up or down?
Leo: I want to say I added my vote because I think it would be kind of cool.
Minute: Oh okay.
Clown: I'm sorry, Minute. I'm not for peace. Ever. So it's just it's just a matter of disagreeing.
Ro: Oh Minute-
Mapicc: Minute, I think we should host a re-election right now. I think you said in the video, before the session-
Minute: That's not, that's not how this thing was supposed to go.
Bacon: You know we can have reelection at the-
Wemmbu: -Saturday. But we're gonna have to have-
RO: -Fine
Mapicc: Minute are you a man of democracy like you stated in all of your pitches, all of your videos? how about we take a vote on whether we should re-elect right now?
Zam: (giggly)Oh
Wemmbu: That's a really good question.
Mapicc: -That do you think of that Minute?
Minute: Can you do a server ping Spoke?
Spoke: Yeah what am I-?
Mapicc: Spoke do a server ping.
Spoke: What am I doing? Hello-
Mapicc: Just ping everyone and be like are you down to revote right now? React yes or no.
Minute: I don't know, it's just-
Wemmbu: We get a majority vote.
Minute: -this, this does feel a little hypocritical Mapicc, I have to, to say this.
Ro: How come? How so?
Mapicc: How come?
Minute: The other- I think it was yesterday, you and I had a, you and I had a, a little chat yesterday Mapicc, you said you said the presidency that I won was unfair because I had a lot of people online that I convinced that was the good guy is this not the same thing but on your end?
Mapicc: Um what if I told you I wasn't running for president.
Minute: You aren't running?
Mapicc: I'm not running.
Ro: He's not running.
Minute: Is someone on your team running?
Mapicc: Everybody react.
Ro: No I'm not running, Zam's not running.
Zam: I'm- I have no plans of running, yeah, uh, no.
Mapicc: Who punched me? That's not cool.
Poafa?: Spepticle.
Leo: I'm gonna run for President!
Mapicc: Uhoh! LeoWook's going to run for president. If you haven't reacted go check announcements now and react.
Leo: One time on my brother's SMP I ran for president and didn't get elected so this, like this, would be like Vengeance for them.
Clown: Oh Redemption, yes.
Leo: Yeah, Redemption.
Zam: Like the LeoWook.
Leo: Yeah.
Mapicc: And, that's that's that's not- that's a ClownPierce drawing okay
Clown: ClownPierce! Sorry, I love that drawing.
Mapicc: If you haven't reacted- There's more than 13 people in the VC so either react yeah or no please. Just so we like, know everybody is like locked in. okay.
Wemmbu: Oh
Mapicc: So Minute it's hit a majority.
Minute: So be it. It's a democracy.
Leo: Oh boy, Minute's no longer President.
Ro: It's time for a reelection
Mapicc: It's time for a reelection.

for the writing asks!
1, 7, 11, 27, 30, 36, 50
Ooh, many juicy questions 😁 Thank you so much! This is gonna be a long one, so I'll pop the answers under the cut.
1. Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?
I daydream. A lot. I'll have ideas swirling around in my head for a while before putting them to paper, playing scenes out like a little movie. Then, once I've determined that it's something I can, in fact, write about, I'll stick bullet points in my notes detailing it, which will eventually be fleshed out into a fic.
7. Post a snippet from a WIP.
A little one, just for you 😘 Hand-holding!
11. Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump about?
Weirdly enough, this has varied wildly by fic! Some fics, I'm able to write very neatly in order, whereas others, I'll be writing one scene, and then think of a good way to write a later scene which I just have to put to paper before I forget.
27. What area of writing do you feel strongest in?
That's a tough one... Honestly, probably either in descriptive imagery or character voice/banter. They're the two things I have the most fun with, and also seem to be the things people comment most on in my fics.
30. How much do you edit your fics? Do you edit as you write or wait until you finish the first draft?
I'm terrible for being an "edit as I go" person. It makes the process so much slower, so it's a habit I'm trying to get out of! But it's something I've done for as long as I can remember - I even do it when writing reports for my actual, irl job, haha.
36. What fic are you proudest of?
Honestly, my first one, haha. A Sound Hypothesis is basically my baby, and it reminded me of how much I enjoy writing fiction - to the point where I'm now fully addicted to writing again. And it was actually the catalyst for me meeting some incredible fic writers who I just adore.
Plus I'm still in utter shock that it did so well. I remember writing it, acutely aware that I hadn't written anything fictional since I was about 13, so I expected maybe 20 notes from mutuals. So I posted it, went to bed, woke up, and it had something like 200 notes in 10 hours? Nothing I write will ever do as well as my first fic 😂
50. How would you describe your writing style?
Also a difficult one! I tend to alter my style slightly to match the vibe of the fic that I'm going for. So A Tale of Fools and Tricksters is purposely written in a very whimsical, fairy tale-like way, whereas anything from The Scientific Method is written in a more grounded way, since the Tav is a scientist who tends to catalogue everything and everyone. But in terms of common traits... I'm a big fan of sensory descriptions, I suppose! A voice might be velvet, a sound might be silk caressing your skin, etc. So I guess sensory would be the answer.

TSTBA And Life Update
Hey everyone, I thought I'd give an update on what's going on with me and on my progress with Too Small To Be Afraid. TL;DR at the bottom for those who just want the quick deets.
I've been struggling to work on the story since the start of the summer, mainly because I got a "real" job (as part of the IT department at a local high school). Despite the fact that it's only 17.5 hours a week (3.5 hours every weekday), it was a lot more than what I was used to (which was literally doing nothing except for volunteering at various places maybe one to three times a week), and it took me a really, really long time to adjust to that mentally. I would come home dead tired and just... not feel like writing. Or doing anything at all. Sometimes I'd come home at 3:00 pm and proceed to take The World's Longest Nap™ only to wake up when it was time to go to bed anyway. Part of this, I realize, is probably the result of an undiagnosed sleeping disorder of some kind (my psychiatrist says maybe sleep apnea) mixed with ADHD telling my brain to Not Work™. But yeah, this has been a major contributing factor in my lack of writing time recently. And on top of that, I got another job working for my church on Sundays as a Production Assistant, which has so far been awesome, but it means I'm also exhausted on weekends. Not only am I working 7 hours on Sunday (setup + rehearsal + service + do all that again for the second service), but I'm also waking up at 4:30 am now at the very latest on Sundays depending on what campus I'm working at. And on top of all that, I'm still working occasionally for my old boss one Saturday out of every month until he wants me to start coming in more frequently. So all in all, I'm pretty much working every day but Saturday, except for when I'm also working on Saturday. And I do enjoy working all of these jobs, it's just that I've been struggling to adjust to working so much and how to balance that with my hobbies and my home and family life. So there's been little time for writing these past few months.
The writing club I was a part of also lowkey disbanded as we haven't been meeting for several months. (Hi if any of you are reading this, I miss you guys lol.) Before we stopped meeting, I was pumping out a new chapter at least every two weeks, and it was amazing! I was part of a group that encouraged each other to write and on top of that even edited/critiqued each other's writing. I really do miss it. The group always got me so motivated to write during the week and to write during our meetings, and I haven't felt that same joy about writing since we stopped meeting. I'm thinking I'll start another writing group, either online or at my church. Leaning towards at my church since I need in-person contact with people, but idk hit me up if you're interested in an online writer's group??? Or being a beta reader???
Lastly, something that's actually related to the story itself. The plot. Hoooooooo boy the plot. The plot is... a thing that exists. There's things I want to tie into the story that I want to be a big deal, but I'm not sure if I introduced enough elements beforehand for things to make sense if I go the route I want? Then there's the fact that I look back at the first few chapters and sort of cringe, thinking of all the things I'd change if I would let myself have at it before the first draft is done. But yeah. Things are... going. I've been very, VERY slowly but surely working on fixing up things in my outline so I know where I'm going, but yeah, all the aforementioned has kinda made it hard to actually write.
So that's where I've been. So where do we go from here?
For one thing, I'm at least somewhat confident that chapter 18 WILL come out in the next few weeks, before the end of the month. It's going to be a long one, and I hope it's worth the wait.
I previously had a goal of finishing my first draft by the end of the year, but if I'm honest, I'm thinking I won't get there until at least the spring of 2025. And then, of course, after that comes editing, revising, rewriting, and so on. I'll likely be writing at least a second draft before I even think about printing.
But can you expect me to update more regularly from now on? To be honest, I have no idea. All I know is that this book is still my dream, and I haven't given up on it yet. As long as this fire continues to burn within me, I'm going to continue to write. As long as it takes. Until it's done. But maybe starting another writing club would help hold me accountable for regular updates, ha ha.
Thank you all for your unwavering support as I've gone through this journey. Whenever I see someone's been enjoying this story, it fills me with so much joy, you don't understand. I hold every little comment close to my heart.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you soon with an update to the story!
TL;DR: I suddenly acquired three jobs and am very tired all the time. This combined with no accountability after my writing club lowkey disbanded has made writing difficult. I'm still writing, slowly but surely. Expect a new (and long) chapter this month for sure. Hmu if interested in starting a writing club/being a beta reader btw

Kacy! 29, 30, and 48 for the fic writer asks please and thank you ❤️
(writing asks!)
29. What’s your revision or editing process like? !!!!!! I try not to ever edit as I go because I used to be really bad about tinkering and not moving forward, so I kinda like CHARGE AHEAD and get the story done, and if I think of something I want to go back and add, I write it down for an editing note. It also helps to give me fresh eyes when it's time to edit, because if I haven't reread the WIP it kinda helps if my memory is fuzzy and I can be a little more objective.
I also don't do heavy editing because I do the big moves inside my plot outlines. It's very rare that I change my mind on something huge that I have to go back and revise. I'm just constantly using the outline to sketch the story out so when I'm actually writing, all the structural stuff basically is done right the first time. I edit for like typos and flow and stuff. So the process is something like this
Copy editing notes into my notes app on my phone so that I can full screen the story but have the notes available on the littler screen
Change the font! So that your eyes are ON ALERT and the text doesn't look the same as it's looked for weeks while you were writing!
Pick the correct MUSIC TO EDIT TO because I always have songs that are integral to the emotional core of everything I write, so I need to play them while I read/edit as a vibe check to make sure the tone is correct. I always want the reader to feel the way the music makes me feel! So editing music is really important to keep the tone!!!!!!!
JUST START REREADING AND LOOKING FOR STUFF. I am a sloppy typer so I always have a million typos. I look for typos and like, if I reuse the same word/phrase too close to each other.
I do a separate read through for smut scenes to just double check that everyone's limbs are accounted for and no positions got flipped.
I do a ctrl+f for phrases like "a little" and "for a moment" because I know I overuse them lol.
I double check my editing notes in case I forgot something in the moment.
THEN I copy it into Google Docs (I write in Scriv lol) and run the gdocs grammar check because it helps catching sloppy lil mistakes. It will overcorrect you on stylistic choices so don't let it correct everything, but it catches a lot of typos for me.
AND THEN!!!!!! I copy it into https://hemingwayapp.com/ which wiLL READ YOU FOR FILTH AND TELL YOU YOURE STUPID so do not use this tool too seriously. I also often use passive voice ON PURPOSE sometimes so SUCK IT HEMINGWAY but I like to use it to check for dense sentences and just basically skim over and see if anything looks super sloppy.
THEN I POST IT ON AO3 and read it again because I always find more typos after it's posted because the pressure of it being public gives me better vision.
AND FINALLY once it's on AO3 I also have the screen reader read it to me out loud because that lady finds some more typos LOL. Hearing it out loud catches what my eyes don't.
30. Do you share rough drafts or do you wait until it’s all polished?
I very rarely share rough drafts! I usually make my WIPs available to Discord friends to get some cheerleading but I don't publish them. Occasionally I'll share like a WIP Wednesday passage or something if I get tagged or asked but otherwise I keep it TO MYSELF! 48. What do you look for in a beta?
bro I don't use betas lol. My mom Anne Rice told me not to let people edit my work.
Occasionally I use a beta because I need to like for a zine (like you beta'd me once for the horror Sheith zine!) but that's the only times I use one. I just want people to like, be constructive, and I want to be communicated with beforehand so that I know what they're looking for and I can tell them what type of criticism I'm willing to listen to vs. what's off limits.
I don't want to sound dramatic LOL but I had a really traumatizing experience in my first zine where I got beta'd without warning/permission, when they said they'd just be checking for typos, and I got absolutely fucking shredded. Like not a single paragraph in my whole fic was left alone, and the beta had like, rewritten sentences, rearranged sentences in the paragraph, erased stylistic choices, added exposition that I didn't write, and removed a bunch of references I had laid down throughout the story as a motif. It was genuinely like so demotivating and made me feel so fucking terrible about my writing and really fucked me up. I still haven't shared that fic on AO3 because I can't look at it without thinking I'm an incoherent fuckup. AND ALL THAT, AND LIKE ONE SINGLE COMPLIMENT LOL. Like one single thing in the whole fic that the person thought was nice. ashdkjglasdg . Lord I almost packed it in after that lol.
So anyway I don't look for betas, on principle, but if I do ask someone to beta I try to be clear like "Find typos and tell me if something didn't make sense." I don't need someone to like shave down everything that makes the story sound like me or add extra fucking sentences, like. Bro no. lol. And give me lots of compliments so I don't feel like I did a bad job because I don't want to feel like I'm being graded on my homework :(

❤️
24: How do you choose whose POV to write in?
If something is brand new it usually goes to Ariel/Snape, but if it's a canon scene that's pivotal I'll give it to someone other than Ariel to give a different perspective. Also depends on what I'm trying to convey. For example, when Snape burns Ariel's letter, it was important for the reader to see Snape's opinion of her change and shift while also justifying his shitty actions.
30: How much do you edit your fics? Do you edit as you write or wait until you finish the first draft?
A lot; I edit as I write but once the first draft is done, I export it from my Google doc to a Microsoft word doc, do a spelling/grammar check, and then have Word read it out loud to me. That takes me a while to get through but it's worth it.
62: In aim & ignite, is there a deleted scene/idea you wish you could have included? Why did it get cut?
hmmm, this is a good one. I had a scene where Snape discovers earlier on that Ariel's potion stopped working/is hurting her and wrote out that entire exchange but then realized it would cause plot issues down the line so I scrapped it. Other than that I've been pretty good with not jumping the shark and cutting things because that's exhausting.
63: What was the hardest part of writing aim & ignite?
honestly, Snape calling Ariel "Lily-thing" was kinda difficult, I wanted to punch him in the face. I think overall Snape is really difficult because there are times where I just want him to stop being Snape and be tender for like just one second, and he does have those moments, but it's emotionally draining to write him consistently making the wrong choices when it comes to Ariel, but it's also how this would go down, imo.
78: What motivates you during the writing process?
literally any interaction I have about the story with anyone LOL. also music; if there's music that connects me to the story, I suddenly become a writing machine.

okay, i am mostly caught up on tag games! i'll make gifs this weekend when i can!
for anyone wondering, work was better today, but the job i mentioned yesterday, the person who wanted it kept calling today. he made getting the job done very difficult. rant below bc i really still can't believe the gall, the gumption, the AUDACITY this guy had. tw talk about anxiety and panic attacks below
i almost had another panic attack from how annoying he was being. seriously! okay let's start at the beginning:
he emailed monday, i told him the job would be done wednesday afternoon (today). the email exchange went something like this:
him: when do you think the passes will be done?
me: we are very busy as it's finals week. there have been students here all day. i was lucky to even get the design done today.
him: well, can i get them tomorrow afternoon? (tuesday)
me: unfortunately the job won't be done tomorrow afternoon. the soonest i can promise the job is wednesday afternoon. as i said we are very busy with students since it's finals week.
him: okay, if you can't get them done tomorrow (tuesday), wednesday afternoon is perfect!
me: it's very unlikely that they'll be done tomorrow (tuesday), as i said we are very busy with it being finals week. you'll get an email wednesday afternoon when they're ready for pickup.
so he was told twice in emails that the job wouldn't be done until wednesday afternoon. then, a few hours after my last email, he called. i spoke to him and again he asked,
him: when will the passes be ready?
me: as i told you, it's finals week, we've been busy all day. the passes haven't even been printed. but they will be done tomorrow afternoon.
then 45 minutes later he calls AGAIN. my manager answers and tells him that the job will be done TOMORROW AFTERNOON. i get in this morning and he emailed at 8:24am (30+ minutes before i even come in) asking where the job was 🤦🏻♀️
mY GuY! lEaVe Me AlOnE sO i CaN wOrK oN yOuR fUcKiNg JoB!
then THEN he has the AUDACITY to come in while i'm working on his job and says, "is kitty here? we were just passing by. ('just passing by' my ass, leave me alone so i can WORK) can i talk to her?" my manager at the time said, "no, sorry she left for the day." which was hilarious, but then she said, "i'm just kidding, go back there and talk to her." she said this so that he could see how busy i was and that all his pestering was NOT helping me get his job done any quicker. and he had the fucking nerve to say, "i'm not trying to rush you, but we really need these this afternoon." WHILE I WAS TRYING TO WORK ON THEM. he literally stood there and talked to me for like 10 minutes.
BRO GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE AND LET ME FINISH YOUR 1,048 PASSES! THAT YOU SO DESPERATELY NEED 🤬
when i finally finished the job, it was about 2:45pm and i was able to leave at 3pm. i did email him when i finished around 2:50pm and he didn't rush over to get them. he waited until 3:30pm to send a student worker to pick up the passes he REALLY needed.
i don't care if his manager or someone higher up was telling him to call and email us like that. his response should've been, "i was told they would be done wednesday afternoon. i will not be calling them again, i have emails saying the same thing." instead of calling and emailing us like a desperate, clingy match on bumble.
EDIT: i forgot to say that when i wrote up his final invoice, i forgot to charge him for mail merging, which i was supposed to do, but in my mind, i called it the "harassment fee" 😇 it was a total of $20 extra that was added to the invoice. the more you bother someone to get something done, the slower they move and they miss things like that, BECAUSE YOU KEEP BOTHERING THEM 🤦🏻♀️
anyway, hopefully, tomorrow is much quieter and i never NEVER have to deal with that guy again. i hope you're having a good week, stay safe out there, and stay hydrated my friends! 💖

fanfic asks: 22, 30, 49 💫
Oh yay! Thank you for the asks! 💜
22. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?
This is an interesting one because honestly I don't have any specific point in the process where it happens. Titles just kinda find their way to me whenever they want. Sometimes I'm struck with inspiration early on in the writing process or even before I even come up with an idea, but I like the title so much I have to come up with a fic for it, or I'll have a fic completed and be struggling and fighting tooth and nail with my brain to come up with something to call it 🤭 let me pull a few quick examples from my pantheon!
Once Upon A Duelist, that one came super easily to me. Of course that fic being a Sleeping Beauty au, having the play on Once Upon A Dream was pretty simple to think of but I digress, it was an easy one to title.
Sons of The Stars on the other hand, that one I was ruminating and formulating titles for throughout the whole process and getting nowhere for the longest time. Angel's Tears was like that too when I wrote it back in the day. (Tbh in the market for a new title for that one, I used to love it but recently I've liked it a lot less)
And my Final Fantasy XV fic What Goes In. That one was super easy because I took it from a line of dialog that Gladio has in one of the cutscenes that was actually written into the fic.
And Sustained by Hate is the title of a song from Final Fantasy XIII and well the cutscene it plays in in the game is the scene involves a child trying to murder a man because he blames him for his mother's death, so 😬 but the title was very relevant because the only thing keeping Camula's soul together and keeping her from being assimilated into oblivion was her hatred of Jaden and desire for revenge, so she was quite literally sustained by hate. I actually borrowed or was inspired by a lot of titles from that game's songs and story chapters for the chapters in the fic too aksksk
I take a lot of inspiration from songs for both fic titles and chapter titles, ever since I was a kid writing shitty fics in actual physical journals. But I also sometimes just try to think of something relevant from my own brain aksksk
So yeah they just kinda find me whenever they want to, I don't really have any specific point in time where I come up with titles. But that honestly can be the hardest part of the entire process for me if they don't come to me early on in the process.
30. How much do you edit your fics? Do you edit as you write or wait until you finish the first draft?
This one's easy actually, I usually wait until the end and go back and do it all at once. Mostly because just about every fic I've written in the last like 5 years has been for the YGOBB so I've been writing on a time crunch for a long time and I'm a slow writer so I never had the time to spend editing as I go. I'd wait until the rough draft was done and turned in and then go back and edit after.
Now I've been going back and even editing and revising those fics again because honestly I don't think I did a very good job the first time. But I'm less horrified when I read my old fics now so that's good 😭
I do find myself going back and editing as I go more now than I used to, especially since I'm stepping back from YGOBB this year and taking a break from that. Love the event, but I think all my fics have suffered from the time crunch and I always burn out having to push myself to pump out my fics so yeah need that break.
But generally I do write a fic all the way out before I'll start editing so I can focus on one thing at a time. Get the foundation first and then build upon it. 👍
49. What fic of yours would you say is the best introduction to you as a writer?
Oh boy this one's actually a very hard question for me 😅
When I think about it I'm kinda tempted to say Sustained by Hate (abby's version)(from the vault)
It's a multi chapter fic which is my forte, it's in universe which I don't often do in my long fics, the concept is entirely plausible with Camula being brought back and wanting revenge for her defeat, it works in a lot of my little touches and portrayals of the characters
Dad Crowler, Hassleberry’s leg being an issue for him a lot, Alexis being protective of Atticus like to the max, Jaden going out of his way to try and protect the squad but specifically Sy, Bastion playing the role of team mom, Chazz and Atty's relationship period, and you even get some of my quirks and inner workings of my mind with Mrs. Rhodes and Mrs. Princeton hanging out on the sidelines
Also the blatant, very thinly veiled Little Mermaid reference of a plotline..... I mean c'mon the chapter is literally called Poor, Unfortunate Soul 😭
I also actually wrote a duel and that was really hard and I'm very proud of myself and everyone should be impressed 😭
Anyways that one is very me, there's so much in that fic that's very authentic to me and I think it's probably the best intro to me and my writing in terms of the long fics.
One shots, Salt In The Wound. No question. Maybe when I go back and edit that one A Friend In Need would be good too, and Traffic Lights is pretty good but again SITW is so authentically me as a Syrus stan/kin who has major beef with Zane.
I'd love to say OUAD, you know I would. But that's my magnum opus man, if that's your introduction you've set the bar pretty damn high 😭
And Sons of The Stars, as much as I demand everyone in the universe read it because I worked harder on that fic than anything I've ever written in my life, that is NOT a starter fic. It's 136k. And a whole ass built from the ground up au. And honestly draws on a lot of stuff in season 3 and there's a couple subtle nods to other works in it so it's not a starter at all. That's one to read after you've read a couple aksksk
So yeah, if you want a quality starter fic, Sustained by Hate is probably the way to go I think.
Angel's Tears or What Goes In wouldn’t be bad either if you wanted to see the progression of my work from high school to now. Even with the revisions I've done to both of those fics in the last couple months, in my opinion you can still tell I originally wrote them when I was like 18 years old.
But I legitimately think Sustained by Hate and Salt In The Wound would probably the best options depending on which length of fics you like to read.
Thanks again for the asks, these are so fun!!

hi! i don’t know if you’re doing the ask meme anymore, but if you are, can i ask for 7, 12, and/or 30? thank you!
Hello! I'm still doing it, thanks for asking!
12. Do you outline your fics? If yes, how detailed are your outlines? How far do you stray from them?
I do! I think I've rambled before about trello and idea webs being my best friends, but I outline the major plot of the story and then the separate chapters with what beats I wanna hit in each one as I go. I do tend to stray from them if I come up with something more interesting as it's written out and it happens fairly often. I try to keep flexible as it goes so if something interesting comes up I can pivot.
30. How much do you edit your fics? Do you edit as you write or wait until you finish the first draft?
I try to regularly edit for clarity and content. I'll edit as I go and then try and do a thorough reread once I have the draft of each chapter done. Since I write and post a chapter at a time, once a work is done it'll need to go through edits for cohesion as a piece too.
7. Post a snippet from a wip.
Have some from A Glimpse, A Hope under the readmore:
Step two of her plan literally crumbles before her eyes when she opens the door.
Tim shows up at her apartment in the late morning with a slightly groggy smile on his face and a bag of groceries in each hand. "I brought snacks." He says through a yawn, lifting the bags to emphasize his statement.
"What the fuck are you wearing?" She tries- and mostly fails- to not sound pissed. Her plan depends on Tim being cute and he has the nerve to show up- "you look like Luigi!"
"You said we were painting and pulling out carpet! What was I supposed to wear?"
"Not denim overalls! Where did you even-"
"-Kon said I could borrow them." Of course. Of course Tim would find some way to make it so the potential jealousy of seeing him in another man's clothes is totally negated by them being these fucking clothes. If he hadn't been resolutely refusing to learn anything about the future since she came back, she would think he’s doing this on purpose.
"Just wear some ratty old jeans and an old shirt, Tim.”
“These already had paint on them.” Tim says with a shrug.
“Yeah, I can see that-”
Their bickering is interrupted by the doorbell. She holds back the deeply frustrated sigh pressing against her chest. No fixing Tim’s stupid clothes now. Who knows, maybe the super-dork vibe is part of his appeal.

I have a co-worker who gets questionably upset, for someone who has lived his entire life in an area that experiences all four seasons every year, at the end of summer.
He makes FB post after FB post about how the whole world is dark and everything is dying. If I wasn't familiar with his dramatics, I might actually be concerned for him.
As it is, fav co-worker and I start muting him 30 days at a time around this time of year. He's in good company with my Aunt who gets muted for her bad political takes that I just don't have the patience for.
I say all of this to offer a different perspective.
Autumn is when my soul comes to life.
This is the time of year where I'm inspired in all things.
See: My return to accountability here.
...and there's nothing like a trip to the pumpkin farm to kick-off the seasonal festivities.

Since we last met, I have taken the LSAT twice.
The first time, in February, with logic games. The goal, at that point, was just to do my best and get a score on my record.
I ended up scoring three points (at least) above the median of every school I intend on applying to.
This was achieved leaving out one of the logic games in its entirety. I don't remember the details after all this time but there were multiple variables to account for and I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to set it up. I tried two different ways before giving up.
That being the case, I figured I'd probably be able to score better without the games section - and might be able to garner additional scholarship funding. So, I set about studying for August. And I *was* PTing higher.
When it came to actually taking the August exam, however, I'm not sure what it was, perhaps the fear of scoring worse and indicating that my first score was a fluke, but when I time-checked and found myself a bit behind on the first section I panicked to the point that I very seriously considered getting up and walking out.
I managed to talk myself down, but the time and focus required for that cost me, in my estimation, the equivalent of two logic games.
When scores were posted in August and I received the exact same score as in February... 🤣🤦🏻♀️🤣
It's a sign, y'all.
I'm done with the LSAT.
I read somewhere that it's best to have applications in by Halloween.
I'm currently waiting on a Letter of Recommendation from my manager. I've asked for it by the end of the month and have promised myself that I won't...ask her how it's going...until at least the 25th.
The Train Master, who is not my direct supervisor, and I was unsure about even asking for a letter, got so excited for me when I told him I was applying that he said he got chills. He had his letter in within a week of receiving the official notice. Bless.
My Personal Statement is written. I continue to edit it in bits and pieces, but for the most part, it's done.
I'm leaving on vacation on October 14.
Ideally I'll have everything submitted by then.
Fingers crossed. 🤞🏻
This law school thing is kinda sorta really happening.

8:50 a.m Edited/Added to
So of course last night was the first time I forgot to write down my closed eyes time, why? My timer went off for Mouthwash I was super tired and I was fighting my eyes and I was like yea right you won't fall asleep, you'll need to pee. I was like I'll close my eyes and in 5 or 10 minutes use Mouthwash. I believe my timer went off at 10:59 but Idk. I was out like a light. Dead to the world. I woke up at like 5:30 a.m. I tried to sleep until like 6:15 a.m and I couldn't fall back to sleep. I didn't want to use drugs bc I don't want to wake up at like 12 p.m or even 10 a.m. I want to wake up everyday at like 8 a.m the latest... In order to keep a strict circadian rhythm and fight circadian rhythm disorder you need to be strict about your sleep/wake cycle.
I probably got like 6 hours and 15 minutes of sleep. Still not a single 7 hour night but I'm getting closer. I think my circadian rhythm is adjusting.
Unfortunately tonight I need to go back to a half mg. Or at least try.. I'm going to take my half mg at 9:30... so I can take the other half by like 11 p.m or something after 1 hour of closing my eyes and presumably failing. We will see what happens. If I have to take the second half... at that point it'll be day 3 and by day 4 my tolerance will forever be raised.. so tomorrow I'll just take the full mg and accept it.
Today I started laundry. All my attic clothes from my old dresser will be complete and put in a bin. Stupidly bc I'm a hoarder i tried to go through it but can't make my mind up for various reasons.. so I decided to wash it all and decide later. Some of the basketball shorts are brand name but very small... I mean I have good reasons for being like idk. I'm also going to put tide cold wash directly on the arm pit stains and see if it comes off my second load... I mean some of the pit stains got removed from a general wash in it.. so maybe I can save all my nice shirts. I'm keeping them regardless bc I know I can try different things to lift the hard surface stains over time.
I emailed the board and asked if i could provide more documentation like my night at the psych ward and my primary care for documentation of my insomnia.
I put my graduation stuff in that corner. It isn't perfect but it looks better. I might move more posters around today.
I got to go grocery shopping and return my gloves. I'm also going to pick up my testosterone today. I'm going to do all of this before my t-shot at 3:45 p.m so I can come home and shower.
My sister has a tripod I'm waiting on so I can get my car photo shoot pictures. I might make some phone calls before I go to the grocery store.
I'm getting shit done. I really hope I don't have to raise my tolerance but we will see.
Also I detailed pooping problems on my sleep tracker. I started 2000mg of white mulberries 4 days before I had some problems and l salivarius 3 days before. It could be l salivarius. It could be a change in the way I eat which I'm fixing. Idk but we will first start changing my eating order and see if it fixes it, if it doesn't, then we will take out l salivarius if that doesn't work I'll take my white mulberries to 1500 again... and see if that works. Then try l salivarius again.
I have a feeling it's my sleep schedule with the eating habits being changed but we will see. As I had 4 days of the white mulberries and 3 days of l salivarius that everything was normal and then I didnt sleep...
My hallucination is making me want to die. It's whatever this is my quality of life.

My coworker quit and officially finished up last week and, like, I knew I'd be picking up a lot of his work until they hired someone new, but I didn't realize how much until I had a meeting with my manager and she was going over a bunch of upcoming deadlines and ongoing tasks. And I think I might die? Because it's suddenly becoming very clear that neither she nor my director will be taking on any of his work. It's all going to be me. Partially because I don't think they know how to do most of what he did (I trained him) but also because she didn't even pretend to take things off my plate.
I'm effectively doing two people's jobs with no pay raise and it's only Wednesday and I'm usually pretty busy but it's been steady work for for the last week and a half straight and I feel like I might be losing my mind. And I've managed but the instant something unexpected comes up I'm fucked.
I have to arrange exhibitions and panels for two different programs that will be attended by major donors (this Friday and next Friday) as well as send placement offers and cancellations for the Fall, which means updating our internal schedule and update and send faculty their schedules, process payroll, edit a slideshow to send to faculty (we have a big orientation at the beginning of September and they've only just picked the date), contact applicants for one program (two parents yelled at me for this today), organize applications for another program, start planning for my own class, and rep our department and give tours at a registration fair that both of my bosses will be out of town for. Oh, also our gallery and 30+ plinths were redone and my and left in the gallery and my boss told the COO who managed all that that we'd (me) put everything away. The plinths are stored in a shelving system. I exercise but weigh maybe 125 on a good day. I can't lift them. I told my boss I wouldn't be able to lift them on my own and it's like hadn't even thought about it. I had a parent yell at me yesterday for not accepting their kid into a program and I had to tell them I never got their application. Two other parents (of the same kid) yelled at me today because I didn't accept their kid into a program because he's two years younger than the minimum age. Our director insisted on doing the write ups for the two receptions (which I've done the last two years) and then left of vacation without doing any of it. So I had to do it in a single day because Marketing needed to send it off to the printer by the end of that day. When they brought it up, my manager was basically like "well, we'll have to wait for him to get back", to which I said "it needs to get done, so I'll just do it". And when the proofs came back for the director and I to edit I didn't even wait for him to respond. Neither did Marketing. I gave them what they need, they said good, and my director came in after the fact with a "looks good!".
Fuck. This is the forth time this has happened in this job, me doing someone else's work after they quit, and they've said they'll hire someone for the start of Fall, but I'll believe it when I see it. It took them six months to hire the guy who just quit. I literally overheard my manager tell my director they didn't have any good candidates.
What makes it worse is we had a meeting a month back about how they wanted me to do more coordinator work, because that's my role. But now I'm both the coordinator and assistant because assistants are paid so shit they never stick around.
I might actually lose it.

Entry 1.4.7-2 - The Long Grind
Welcome to my blog. I’m not tagging anything but entry #, so sorry if my unrelated mess somehow ends up in your search.
There are so many features I'm excited for, I think I'll also add a couple of planned intermissions waaayy down the line just for me to look at and look forward to. Life stress is getting to me, but I want this world to be my kind of happy place so that A) I continue to work on it, but more importantly B) I'm doing something productive (to me anyway) with my time and not doomscrolling. If I'm going to stare at a screen for several hours straight I'd much rather give myself the space to think for myself and the opportunity for a creative outlet than mindlessly swapping between tumblr and youtube to idly kill time.
I'm also excited to build little lore tidbits into this world, I just had a creeper explode and reveal this cave to me, I might just dig around and make this into some kind of excavation site when bone blocks are added.
I kind of like the idea of a crater-ridden desert (who knows, some future update may change it into something else anyway) and I could probably do some cool fossils, they'd be massive. maybe just partially exposed sometimes in the sand.
AH MY BELOVED [I AM ACTIVELY BEING SHOT]
???? what genie magic have I activated can i please just get mellohi--
Also side note, I've been messing around on a creative world and I think if I just eat a gapple and get Smite V I really only need like two Healing II potions and a bucket of milk and I could probably kill the wither more than 3 times. The reason I think this is so doable is because I've been building the wither with the obsidian end pillars. The wither typically doesn't get very far so a bow isn't even needed.
[Pic from creative world] I'm basically getting more obsidian AND a star. plus I think I read that the pillars regenerate when you respawn the dragon later. Though maybe that won't happen here. I'll have to see.
I need more EXP to try for Smite since I already enchanted my bow (Power IV BD I'm okay with it tbh) and I still want carrots, so I'll create a zombie exp farm. I'm following this tutorial so I hope it'll still work.
Okay, seems functional. I do hear thunder though, so I'm a little nervous about what's happening on the surface.
I couldn't quite follow the instructions of his tutorial since soul sand doesn't exist yet, but I got lucky with my bedrock and they fall to 22 blocks right here. This will be so fucking nice. As I sit and idle though, the zombie sounds make me so anxious while I'm looking away from the screen lol
I'm hoping to get a full set of chainmail at some point as well, so this should be helpful.
One annoying part of this grinder is that I keep having to run back and forth, if I sit at the bottom and wait I think I'm out of the function distance for the spawner. I'm also not certain how many zombies I can have at a time down there, I see the number 24 thrown around a lot, but I don't know if that's a recent update. I do have two carrots though, so I guess I'll run up and plant those, maybe use some bonemeal (before that gets nerfed in 1.5 (or maybe I'll just wait until i hit 30 xp)
gdi again with the sharpness >:/ I'm happy to have looting now but this may take A While. I'd take Smite III at this point, but all I ever seem to get is sharpness.
okay I guess I can consider the farm done, the pigs and cows haven't been escaping from their pens so I'm not focused on getting [edit from months in the future: this was just left incomplete. dont work on your projects high kids.]
Now I guess I need to start putting this sword to use and get some skulls so I can actually summon the wither.
FUCK
Okay. I got Very lucky, none of my enchanted tools or the single skull I have fell. I'm going to take a break because that wasn't good for my blood pressure.
I think I'm genuinely going to need to grind for a while, so [letsgameitout voice] hold please
next (1.4.7-3)

My comments on The Ssum (by the studio that made Mystic Messenger):
I want to say I like The Ssum, but it's pretty weird. I don't understand the purpose of all the side stuff. I guess it's original in that there's no mini games per se, but you have a pseudo social media platform within the game. Does it have any actually purpose other than being a distraction while you wait for Teo?
Oh man, if you decide to give the game a try, you have to be super careful how you set up your daily schedule. There's 5 chats a day: wake up, breakfast, lunch, dinner and going to bed. The thing is the chat opens about 30 minutes or so before the time you set and so it closes about 30 minutes before the next time. In a way this is a massive improvement over Mystic Messenger. No chats while you're sleeping so no waking up at weird hours. However, you have to be mindful of how you set up your time. If you set the wake up and breakfast times too close together, you risk missing the wake up chat. Also if you have a tendency to sleep in on weekends, you're at risk of missing out. Strangely I found the going to sleep chat closes at midnight. I don't know if this is the case if you set the time after midnight. I just know that setting it for 11 pm screwed me over, especially because I fell asleep early that night. Maybe this will be fixed?
I've seen a lot of people complaining that Teo is too bland. It is sort of a mistake of only offering one character and hence one love interest. They are trying to appeal to everyone and thus Cheritz have made him too generic. There is the point that Cheritz are boasting 200 days of content so it is meant to be a slow burn relationship. I do find the conversations rather bland. The situation could had done with other characters to bounce off of. Rather than 200 days of Teo, why not 50 days of 4 characters instead? 50 days of content would’ve still been super impressive.
My next concern, 200 days is quite a commitment for a game. The plot better start becoming engrossing, otherwise the game is just a chore. There is no way to save and take a break either. You can pay via IAP to go back or forwards in time.
I missed the wake up chat this morning because I didn't open the app until just before my breakfast time. However for a game that boasts its realistic dialogue, Teo quickly forgot that we didn't actually have that conversation. Not to mention the English translation is rather poor for a game that had several delays. It's playable and passable, but needed someone who spent time living in an English speaking country to edit the script.
I won't be paying for the subscription. For where I live it's over $1 per day and that's far too steep, especially when there's 200 days of content. No matter how you look at it, that's $200 to play the game. PS5 games here are $110-$130 at the moment for a standard edition. There is no way this game is worth more than a PS5 game. So I will suffer the ads and the slow text speed. Also it doesn't unlock Teo's private account? The money grabbing Cheritz is doing with this game makes me sick. I get that there is a lot of continued maintenance required to keep the side stuff going, but we're not talking a few coffees here.
Tl, dr: The Sum has a lot of confusing filler to the game thaf you can ignore. If you intend to play, take care setting your schedule because you can't fix it without paying money, which is just one of a dozen ways the game tries to take your money. Four days in and the chats have been shorter than Mystic Messenger with considerably less plot development. It is meant to have 200 days worth of chats so the relationship is expected to develop slowly. Teo though feels very generic. Trying too hard to appease every preference?
Also why no option for player to be male/nonbinary? They provided a female love interest in Mystic Messenger. This feels backwards...
I'll give it a few more days and to see how it goes.
