Good job finishing up that course! No worries on the job front, it'll come. Most people take a while after graduation to find something solid. Took my a whole 8 months during the first year of the pandemic! You'll find something, it's just genuinely about timing and the right opportunities coming along, which it will.

Keep your chin up in the meantime. Job hunts suck, so that means you deserve a little extra love from yourself.

Good on you for staying current on your field! And yeah, I also found that too, after graduation: people tend to think you're "not busy" so you get handed extra chores and things to do.

If you can't work on your personal projects around the same time regularly, make time where you can in little bursts. 15 minutes here and there is more progress than nothing! You'll find the workflow that works well for you.

As for me, I'm really enjoying my job still. I work with good people, and it's currently the slow month of our 4-month cycle, so I can relax a bit during the day.

I just finished my project management course, as well, glad I got that one put of the way! I liked the material, I'm just kinda sick of school 😂 I'm gonna take a break before doing any more professional development courses.

I've also found a good schedule outside of work for writing, learning to draw, and working out. I have some writing goals I want to hit regularly so I can finish these short stories I'm working on. They've taken longer than I thought, but eh, they'll get done.

Other than that, gotta get the rest of my Christmas shopping done this week! I'm normally not so late with it! But it'll be super nice since I work at a university, which means I get almost two weeks of the holidays off without having to use vacation days. Vacation time is in sight!

I’ve been alright, not much new to be honest. Just finished up a course I was taking but still no luck on the job front since my contract ended a month ago ^^’ 

Still keeping busy always trying to read up more on things in my field but also looking for volunteering opportunities as they come. Also trying out working on my own projects (and maybe recognizing that I need to get a proper schedule established for myself to keep up with said projects).

But keeping to a proper schedule or routine is hard, especially when it feels like other things bump into your life since it seems like “you’re not doing anything atm”.

The puppy is not one of those things though, glad to say. She’s adorable as heck and is very talented at standing on her back legs :)

Other than that I’ve been catching up on some new and old video games I’ve been meaning to play, as well as enjoying the return of various shows like The Expanse and Centaurwold!
