Mate, what buses in Australia are you on??? Like coaches and shit, long range buses, yeah. School excursion coaches would have seatbelts and you buckle up, obviously. But I've been on regular public transport buses in three states (both city and regional) and they don't have fucking seatbelts wtf

Do buses have seatbelts where you live? yes/no (if mod wants to add a never been on a bus option that's fine)

#the only seatbelts you might find on the buses where i currently live are two with the disability accessible seating #and they're like... chest height not across the waist or over the shoulder #ive never seen them used so idk what their purpose is?#presumably to strap someone in #i gotta assume they're common in one of the states i havent been in #and thats were this person is from #or like theyve only been on coaches for some reason #its pretty normal for them to not have seatbelts #trains and trams don't either #and itd be a hassle if you were only going a couple of stops or needed to get off quickly
