was feeling sad but i made a salad with dandelion greens and mint and red onion and pomegranate and dried cranberries and mushrooms and olive oil and apple cider vinegar. still a little sad, but i have a very nice salad.

#got most of these things from the farmer's market #i forget what kind of mushrooms they are but they're a real hit #i think i'm gonna make a fake palak paneer (thanks fran for the idea ahaha) with some of my leftover greens tomorrow #torn between attempting a paneer with the powdered milk i have since i don't usually get fresh dairy #or doing a fake one with the mushrooms since they're nice and thick #i got some mystery brassica too that i don't remember the name of but it has biiiig ol rosettes and smells a little like broccoli #it is however completely infested with bugs so i'm gonna have to do some intensive cleaning of it #i have it in some water so hopefully that will deal with a chunk of them #gonna boil down the red onion and pomegranate skins to see if i can make some ink or dye #yay :)#oooh think i'll make some haldi doodh if i've got enough almond milk #ugh i can't wait for it to warm up more so i can start foraging dandelion and mustard and other greens #had some bomb ass pancakes today too (thank you nat for the idea too) (i didn't follow your recipe as much as i just flung my own)#(but the inspiration was there)
