Maybe! I used to talk about him more on my old blog but earnestly got so much hate for just objectively talking about him that it wasn't worth it. It's so drastic how the discussion around Tamlin has changed. Like, I would literally get death threats and doxxing threats for literally talking about canon things. The Tamlin tag used to be literally an anti tag, not even neutral. People would stalk the tags religiously just sub my posts (and Tam posts in general). It's so interesting to see that Tamlin is not longer that hated. I mean people were literally writing rape fantasies about him and Amarantha like the tags were a mess. People complain about the criticisms about Rhys, but like the things people were saying about Tamlin got so dark that I had to address it several times. Safe to say, even just three years ago, the Tamlin tag (and those brave initial Tamlin-lovers, wherever they are) were dogged. They'd screenshot posts between here and Twitter and so you'd be getting threats on both platforms. I swear to god I had to preface every post with "Not justifying abuse," even though that should have been a given. Ask anyone whose been here in the last 4-5 years, it was intense. Before I deleted my last blog I once got like between 20-25 anons a day that were just hate. I even got so many on my graduation day lmaooo. Crazy times, crazy times
