taglists?

fanfic readers and writers:

I’m debating not having a taglist anymore. What are folks’ opinions? If you are a reader or writer or both? Personally, it’s kind of an annoying time consuming step each time i post a new story with many of the people I tag not ever interacting with it so its like lmao what is the point?? Not trying to sound entitled, you absolutely are not expected to reblog everything i tag you in, but there are several that never do and i just?? why am i bothering? I also think some of them maybe changed their username or quit tumblr or quit the fandom etc whatever the reason may be, it’s fine, i just dont want to waste my time.

i guess i could also burn the current one i have and start from scratch?! The problem is I’m not that organized and it really is hard for me to keep track of who wants to be tagged in what. the more i write about this, the more i realize how annoying the taglist process is for me LOL if there’s a better way, please do let me know!
