I am sad that the VERY earliest ideas for IP included a Paddy and Arthur confrontation, but no version actually written has had it or will have it. Well, the newer version will have the dinner one, but that's different.

What I wanted was Arthur face to face with someone who's wrath matches is. Having to look someone in the face who is both ready to spill blood and to die for the man Arthur so despises.

But also because while Arthur doesn't have beef with Paddy specifically, thinks the least about him out of the three (yes, Charlie gets more rentfree show time for being annoying), he does think the entirety of Team Ireland are stubborn to a fault. He thinks they all are delusional and don't know what's good for them.

So I wonder. What would happen if Arthur was faced with a man who thinks him a monster for his greedyness and the hatred he has for the only people left that Paddy ever truly loved.
