what are your headcanons for all the salamanca cousin's parents?

Ooh, this is fun! Lemme build my own Salamanca family tree, lol

Lalo's parents, Alvaro and Gabriela, were the ideal cartel couple. Yes, Alvaro had a tendency to get physical, and yes, Gabriela got a little lost in the same product her husband was peddling, but they knew how to keep up appearances. Nothing was more important to them than appearances, save their gift for unpredictability. Keep 'em guessing, that was their motto. Lalo grew to be very, very good at it. If either of them were still alive, they'd be very proud. They were lost to a murder suicide a few weeks after Lalo turned nineteen. He was definitely the baby, and he had probably three older brothers, but I don't think any of them are still alive, so he's officially become the heir to the business. There was a very serious rivalry among Lalo's brothers, you see. I haven't given names or anything to them, but if anyone's interested, I might be convinced to do so!

Tuco's father, Fernando, was a little more on the reckless side than Hector, Alvaro, and Augustin would have liked. It's ultimately what got him killed. It's also what scared off his wife, Valentina. Wives don't tend to last very long with the Salamancas. Tuco was sent to live with Hector after Fernando was thrown in jail for a particularly brutal assault, which got his killed by a prison gang in retaliation, and yeah, Tuco takes after him a lot. Hector spent a great deal of time trying to beat that out of him. He had no luck. Valentina is still alive and still in Mexico, and she still sends Tuco letters from time to time. He has a few little half-siblings down there with her, and he keeps her letters in a lock box under his bed. He sends her money pretty often, though they haven't seen each other in years. He also has a sister who's married to Gonzo, but @rosayoro's Ximena is perfect and I don't wanna consider anyone else in this role! 😂🖤

Marco, Leonel, and Aurelia's father, Augustin, is the only one of the original Salamanca brothers left alive, save Hector. It's because of his cowardice. There was a conspiracy to get him shot in the leg so he couldn't fuck anything up after he'd proven time and time again that he couldn't be trusted to work in the game. Their mother, Reina, went missing when her children were very young, but the twins remember her fondly. Aurelia doesn't remember her at all. Maybe she purposely doesn't remember. Six years after Reina's disappearance, Augustin got remarried to a woman named Ana Luna, who's the same age as Aurelia, and they now have a child, a little boy named Santiago, who will hopefully never have to be involved in the game.
