Wanted to say, Reverberate is my favorite AU! It's got the fun set up for Resonant but with happy Daemon plus happy childhood (specially for Rhaegar)! What's not to love? I like the others too, but Reversal is the one I'm least excited about (I still think it's cool!). It just feels less novel than the others you know? It feels like we already did daemon with twin daughters (B &R) in cannon so the premise seems covered.

But I love reading about all of them! All your stories have an undercurrent of niceness to them that make them wonderful reads!

*hi-fives you in solidarity* Reverberate and Regnal are probably my favorites, since I enjoy the very open playground of pre-Dance years. Restoration AU is close behind them, since it's a fun concept, but it's also an incredibly dense/established canon and timeline with well-loved characters, so there's a lot more work to do as far as making sure things feel in character and take into account all the moving pieces/schemes.

I'm with you where Reversal is the least interesting to me, which is funny, because suuuuper early on in Resonant's conception, I toyed with the idea of an actual candle/warlock-induced gender swap. So in some ways, it was the very first "AU" concept I came up with! I feel similarly about the twins vs Baela and Rhaena. It's an actual canon dynamic, and though there's plenty to spice it up (they are prophecy children! they were stolen from Daemon! they are grappling with being thrust into very different roles/expectations for their new gender! they're the right age for entertaining romantic crushes!), it's never the one I turn to when I'm in the mood to write one of the AUs.
