i have smeared sara's name thru the mud complainin abt her character interactions post-s4 but. frankly watching ava start her mentor arcTM in s4 and basically just see any woman n be like. yeah i'll try to be her friend from then on is fun for her

a/n: i feel like this is becoming a daily thing but hey, it gets me to write so. i actually tried to do exactly 159 words and i managed to make it work. picked a random prompt off this list, ended up with things u said after saying hello, and i tried to work on my spooner. enjoy. 

"Welcome to the Legends. Good luck trying to leave."

Spooner glanced from the power-suited woman in front of her back at Ava, who gave the exasperated sigh of someone not getting paid enough for this. "And this is Astra. Our most recent addition before you."

Although Astra didn't seem to be that glad to be part of the welcoming committee, she was still giving her a once-over, trying to figure out exactly what her deal was purely based on eyesight. 

"Hey," Spooner said, keeping her hands in her pockets. "I thought Ava said this wasn't a kidnapping attempt."

"If it was, they would've sent Mick," Astra replied. "They're just too friendly to let people they like go."

"Including you?"

She shrugged. "Haven't gotten kicked out yet."

"Don't test your luck," Ava joked, before patting Spooner's shoulder. "Let's continue with the tour."

As they walked away, she got the impression that Astra didn't warm up easy. But neither did she.
