Sitting in a waiting room with Mom cuz she has a doc's appointment
There's a sign on the door saying masks are STRONGLY encouraged
Only Mom and I are wearing masks
There are over a dozen people waiting
The fact that I haven't massacred the whole room is a testament to my incredible self-control
#i am using hyperbole of course i wouldn't murder people#but like... what an amazing show of how little people give a fuck about those around them#i know masks don't fix everything but i don't understand how people can refuse to do the smallest thing that even MIGHT help protect folks#especially when you're in a DOCTOR'S OFFICE#and there's a sign practically BEGGING YOU TO WEAR A DAMN MASK#PEOPLE MAKE ME SO MAD#i feel bad not having n95s (gonna get some soon) and these people aren't even trying to cover up at all#it just makes me nuts#masks#covid-19#but also every other damn illness people in a doctor's waiting room may have hhhhhh#at least the staff here are masked up. thank god for that
