Summary: Actress Wanda has to record a short makeup tutorial/interview for Vogue, but while doing so a certain redhead makes an appearance

   Wanda situates a small camera on her vanity before making sure she has everything she needs. Satisfied she has everything she sits down and presses the record button.

   “Hi Vogue, Wanda Maximoff here to walk you through one of my favorite looks. But first it's important to do some skin prep”

   She starts to walk her fans through the proper steps, making sure to mention each product she uses by name along with how long she's used it and how it benefits her skin before she moves onto the next product and step.

   Honestly, she feels a little self conscious doing this for an audience to enjoy, as she knows she tends to make some odd faces while applying things. But she supposes that a little bit of light hearted teasing wouldn’t be a bad thing.  

   “Okay, now we’re ready for the actual makeup part” she chuckles, “And hopefully I’ll pull it off without embarrassing myself”

   She starts off with her foundation, again being sure to once again mention the product by name along with why she likes it as she applies it. Next she moves onto her concealer and repeats the process. This continues for several minutes as she goes through the various steps of her routine until she's ready to move on to her eye makeup.

   “I’m going for a bit of a smokey eye look today” she explains, refraining from adding that she's doing so because Natasha goes absolutely wild for it.

   She continues on, telling her fans what brands she uses as she starts appling and pretty soon she's so focused that she doesn’t even register the faint sound of keys jingling in the distance. Meaning she also doesn’t register Natashas footsteps as the redhead makes her way back towards the bedroom 

   “Hey detka(baby)” she greets as she enters, oblivious to what she had just interrupted. She doesn’t even register the camera as she wraps her arms around Wanda and places a kiss against her lips

   Wanda can’t help the large grin that takes over her features now that Nat is there, “Hi dorogoy(sweetheart), I missed you today”

   But before Nat can say anything in response she notices the small blinking red light, indicating that her girlfriend had been in the middle of filming something, “Shit, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt.” 

   Natasha takes a step back, intent on giving the brunette time and space to finish up whatever she had been doing, but Wanda had immediately missed the warmth of her presence and had quickly grabbed a hold of her hand to prevent her from retreating further

   “You aren’t interrupting, I can finish this up after I see you”

   Nat gives her a sheepish smile, “But I’m in your footage now, which means you’ll have to do some editing before sending it off to them”

   “Or, I could always just leave it in. Let all my fans see my beautiful girlfriend”

   “You don’t have to do that” she stresses, trying her best to ignore the way her cheeks were burning at just the mere thought of everyone finally knowing they were together

   “I know I don’t have to, but I want to” she reassures, “I’d love for everyone to know who has my heart”

   Natasha feels her heart swell as she sees the sincerity in her girlfriend's eyes, “You're sure? I mean, I doubt everyone will be happy with the news”

   “I’m happy with you. So I don’t care what anyone else thinks. Well, anyone other than you of course”

   “I’m happy with you too, and I don’t care what they might think either. I love you”

    Wanda smiles, “I love you too, and in a few days, everyone will know just how much.”

oh i definitely was pining first LOL ofc i knew who he was when i started working at the agency clinic and i absolutely told myself that i did not even care about him and then i took one look and SWOOOONED skghshg i wouldn't say that's when i started pining though....it probably happened a few weeks in, i would say, as i tried to stave off my crush as long as i could LOL

it took probably a good 6+ months, i think, for katsuki to start pining as well...he's very careful about his feelings and even if he enjoyed getting to see me at the clinic, he was trying to put it out of his mind as soon as he checked out ! so it did take a few months before he couldn't do that any more :3

🫂 what's one significant moment of physical contact you had during the pining stage ?

to be fair, we would have had a lot of physical contact just due to the nature of my job but !!! a significant moment is probably the first time it became...too casual ?? i'm walking him out after bandaging up the side of his face and we're standing there ending our small talk, and i reach up to make sure the edges of his bandage are secure against his sticky skin and he just 🥹 lets me 🥹 doesn't even register, doesn't say anything about it, nor does he say anything about me wetting a towel to wipe down a few spots of blood and dirt and soot still on his face 🥹

💘 (if applicable) what moment made them realize they were in love with you ?

HMMM. at the point of our relationship that this happens, which we are not yet dating, i think—katsuki has done so much on his own. just like, every day things; packing his own lunch and making his own dinner, washing his clothes, stitching up tears in his hero costume, cleaning his house, taking care of his car, etc. and i also think he really appreciates acts of service as a love language (as well as words of affirmation, but i'm still shy atp hehe), and i think one thing about katsuki admitting to himself, like, that he is in love, is that he has to feel comfortable with the idea of me in his life permanently.

once he feels like okay, this fits, this works, then that is when he realizes it, and so i think it's an accumulation of me doing odd little things that could make his life easier ? like he forgets his mask in the clinic so i take it home and wash it, or i am getting coffee in the morning and order a tea for him too, or i buy those little handwarmers and keep them in my office for him for the wintertime when i know he's struggling to keep up his body temperature. stuff like that !! and it's probably just like, me ordering an extra plate of something for him at lunch, that omits something he doesn't like and adds another layer of spice, that it just falls into place for him 🥹

B1nged so bad today I hate myself and this stupid brain of mine 😭😭😭 I finally had a day where my bf had an evening shift and I had nothing to stop me from a whole day of f4sting. And then I got to work and someone had put out a ginormous bowl of candy… and Fridays at primary schools… well let me just say it sometimes feels as if I’m a veterinarian at a zoo where the animals have gotten some sort of crazy virus. And after my first class it was like my brain checked out when I sat down in the staff room and suddenly was stuffing my face in that bowl of hell. After that I felt like a total loser and that all day was ruined and all of that…

Also, due to the situation with my coworker yesterday I got no lesson planning done yesterday as I had planned for, so I had to work over today to plan next week. What does this stupid girl decide to do? Eat like 6(??!!) crisp bread with BUTTER!!!

And apparently that wasn’t enough, she also stopped to get a salad for dinner (no the point of this day was not having to eat any meal at all you stupid ašš)… but yeah no apparently I couldn’t even do that right. Not only did I buy the salad (which might had been at least a little bit okay) but I also got a whole box of raspberries (which is absolutely low c4l and better than most stuff on a low c4l day but as I said before - this was supposed to be a f4sting day which means everything over 5 c4ls is forbidden in my book), and also I was craving salty black licorice and it was a hot day so I wanted ice cream, I looked for a low c4l licorice ice cream but they were all high c4l so I decided to go with a low c4l mango passion. Oh yeah I now remember, I had also already picked up some lentil cakes (like rice cakes but lentil version) to ease my salt craving so I really didn’t even need anything more with salt??? When I finally got to the register they had licorice pastilles right in front of me and I just see my hand reaching for it and putting it on the line. I finished all of these except for the lentil cake where I had like 4(?)

Wait wait wait… it doesn’t end here. I then get home to see I have a lot of cans to recycle and in Sweden you get 1SEK store value card for each can. And since I was on such a loser-roll I was almost obligated to go recycle and get something from the store. Wow when I write it down I actually get nauseated. But yes, this happened and no I didn’t buy just one thing. I got chips AND a chocolate bar AND sweet&salty nuts. I only had like a handful of chips and then threw it away.

So yeah this day was a disaster. I’m now on a long walk and know that I’m in no way going to be able to undo any of this bullshit or even get close to my regular net limit. About half an hour ago I had to stop in the bushes behind a playground and p*rge because I felt like my whole body was about to burst. It was awful and I felt so dirty doing it next to a place where children go to play… thank god it was in the evening so no kids were outside to play. Also I haven’t p*rged on purpose in such a long time and it brought back bad memories from 10ish years ago. Also… when you don’t to it on a regular basis you’re not prepared for it so all I had was 2 Kleenex, half a bottle of water and thankfully some gum. But I seriously had to blow my nose in pads in the end because the Kleenex weren’t enough.

I wish today didn’t exist. I’m such a failure 😭🤯

“what?? y-you’re crazy,” steven replied, getting a concerned look from a couple that was walking not so far away. he was nervously playing with his nails, his eyes focused on your face, barely visible through the book store’s window.

just ask them out and get rid of any doubts.

“shut up, that’s the worst idea you ever had,” he sighed, but slowly started walking towards the store. he pushed the door open and your voice immediately filled his ears, calming him down a bit. steven sent you a look and noticed you were chatting with one of the clients, so he quickly reached a section and tried to not give the impression he was there just to talk with you.

grab a book.

“what?” he slightly jumped, too focused looking at you.

grab a book and buy it, then ask them out again.

steven thought about it for a moment, then grabbed a random book, hoping it wasn’t too expensive. he walked towards you and tried to calm down— you already went out on a date a while ago, he knew you were kind, and gentle, and you would— “hello?,” your voice startled him, steven got lost in his thoughts for a moment and the person you were talking with was long gone.

“oh, hello,” his cheeks started heating up, but he tried to ignore it. “hi,” he nodded and stared at you for a moment. “are you gonna buy it or …?” you pointed at the book in his hands and steven looked at his hands and then nodded again, handing the book to you. you couldn’t help but smile at his embarrassment.

“i guess you enjoyed paella so much you wanted to try cooking it yourself?” you joked, checking the book price and then looking for a bag under the counter. “excuse me, what?” steven confused expression surprised you a bit, he seemed more distracted than usual. “the cookbook, it’s about spanish dishes,” you showed him the book and then put it in the bag.

“oh, right! yeah, spanish food. yes, i-i was curious about…” his mumbling became a set of incomprehensible words, but you didn’t interrupted him because he was already looking for his wallet in the meanwhile. “thirteen,” you said and steven nodded.

“so, um… i was wondering, y’know, if you would m-maybe go out with m-me, again,” he said while you were putting the money in the register. you glanced at him and you noticed that his eyes were focused on your hands, he was probably too embarrassed to look right into your face.

“oh, okay. it would be fun, i enjoyed spending some time with you,” you smiled and hoped he would meet your eyes. so he did. “amazing!” he exclaimed, but then apologised. it made you chuckle and you glanced around the store for a moment. “it’s okay if we go eat lunch together? i’m almost finished with my shift, so…” you shrugged and silently hoped he would say yes.

“that’s-that’s amazing, i recently got fired so i don’t have anything to do for today,” he told you without second thinking, but then cringed at his words. “i mean, i’m free today so it’s amazing, i mean it’s amazing that you accepted and that we’re gonna have lunch together,” he started talking rapidly before you could add something and you nodded slowly, handing him the bag with his book.

“i’m sorry, it’s-it’s just that i think i like you, like you very much, and i’m terrified,” he murmured, but cringed right after telling you, it probably wasn’t the way he wanted to tell you all of that. he was concerned by your silence and quickly met your eyes.

ah, shit.

“i-um… m-maybe we can talk about it later?” your cheeks were burning and your heart was beating so fast you feared he could actually hear it too. “yeah, of course! yes, see you later… i’ll wait outside.”

you watched steven exiting the store quickly, almost stumbling into his own feet and you smiled at his clumsiness, trying to recover from his recent words.

you kind of felt the same way about him, but you never thought he actually liked you as more than a friend, so it truly surprised you.
