WEEK 2: BRIEF HISTORY IN PHOTOGRAPHY
PART ONE:
Following this article, the blurred line between the authentic truth and the altered truth in photography lies within the birth of Adobe Photoshop in 1990. In history, photography has always been viewed as a ‘factual representation of the truth’ so much so that images can be used in legal matters, and to prove pretty much anything. The phrase known to most is ‘the camera never lies’ but in recent years, the altered truth of imagery has turned that phrase into ‘pics or it didn’t happen’ - the new modern extension.
People have grown to be questioning the practice of photography especially in more recent times where prominent coverage of faked imagery has been making the media. An example of this is in mid-June 2020, Fox News was accused of manipulating photographs of the protests during the uprise of the Black Lives Matter movement which included the formation of the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) in Seattle. People saw this as unethical and morally incorrect.
Personally, I think that this is one of the poorest things to do as a publisher. Using your power over an image to lie creates a hostile and bad reputation for the wider media/journalism industry. Everyone knows the saying a picture speaks 1000 words so by publishing this, the readers were only provided with false information and the words spoken from the image were full of misrepresentation and created a false sense of fear amongst a wider community.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Entering this post-truth era in journalism, conversations about altered photography are all based around the blurred line between truth and misrepresentation as I talked about in the paragraph above. In my own experience, seeing the photoshopped images of Trump have made me laugh. I’ve always known that they are fake but because he uploaded the one of him looking like Rocky to Twitter, that could have older or easily convinced users thinking that Trump has a 6 pack of abs and is ready to fight his way (literally) back to the White House. Even the photo on the right could be altered too because it looks slightly unnatural to me, as he doesn't look like this on TV during presidential broadcasts.
I think this form of photo manipulation is very comical, I am always going to support making someone so awfully powerful look silly on the internet, but I can also understand how it can stray from the truth and how photoshopped images can alter the authenticity of people's opinions and sway people between fact and fiction.
Tumblr media
Bullet Points surrounding photo manipulation in the 19th Century. These techniques and examples highlight the early use of retouching, manipulation and editing techniques in photography's foundational years.
Talbot's invention laid the foundations for the salted paper print and calotype, introducing the photographic negative and positive.
The medium's restrictions prevented it from capturing reality as shown in nature.
The 1850s saw technological advancements increasing photography's capacity for accurate rendering.
The albumen print complemented the wet collodion glass plate, invented by Frederick Scott Archer (1813-57) in 1851. The wet collodion negative limited exposure times to mere seconds, allowing sharp and defined images.
Multiple prints could be made from a negative, but wet collodion negatives required on-site development with a portable darkroom.
The technique's insensitivity to blue light meant skies and seas couldn't be captured accurately together, forcing photographers to adapt.
PART TWO
The release of the kodak brownie cameras in 1900 was the first accessible camera known to be so flexible and accessible the world had seen thus far. The camera was $1 USD and was marketed towards children and adults emphasising the easy use and accessibility of it. Kodak offered to process, print photos, and reload the camera at their factory. In 1917, two cousins from Yorkshire, Iris and Alice, took photographs on these Brownie cameras depicting themselves as fairies. In 1919, the photographs reached the public and gained interest from spiritualist Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and he requested more images from the girls to test their authenticity. After the second lot of images, any doubts he had were overcome – he believed the images. Early photo staging and manipulation was underway! The girls used cardboard cutouts and hatpins for the images, spirit photography was now very well-known and was also known to be staged. During the World War and the Civil War, spirit photography gained a massive following as people needed a belief to hold onto tho that their loved ones had actually lived on. By the 1920s photographs were deemed essential in daily lives and households, recording family memories and experiences. The Kodak Brownie introduced a movement of ‘snapshot’ images, and they were seen as less formal due to the spontaneous nature of the image and the portability of the Brownie Cameras. It over looked controlled compositions and subjects we can still see snap shot style of photography today through the likes of casual posting on social media!
Snapshot albums were black and white images framed and placed onto a black page. Although colour photography was already in motion, this was probably more financially accessible for the Kodak Brownie users. When people bring up the topic of altered photography, the use of black and white imagery is debated around realism and how reliable the image is because staged images are so much easier to get away with as I learn’t about the cousins with the fairy images.  The absence of colour photography led to the popularity of hand-coloring and tinting, but many h images often appeared garish and unnatural, contrary to the desired effect of colored photography. Airbrushing was seen as an early form of manipulation and there was a strong desire to make areality of colour photography for greater realism.
The introduction of coloured photography was introduced through the Lumèire Autochrome that was released in 1907. In 1935, Kodachrome was released and replaced Lumèire. Over time, the advancements in colour photography grew significantly over time and the small advancements each film made were highly praised as it was so fast-moving. The changing colours and fading of color's over time always had skeptical viewers questioning if the image was real and if it was manipulated but that is just the nature of coloured ink versus the sun!
Growing more into colored photographic practices, people then started touching up old black and white images and wanting to ‘humanize’ the past. But some critics then argued that this goes against the truth of the origin of the black and white image and alters the initial photograph and the context in which it was taken in.
In the twentieth century when documentary photography become a key method of recording worldwide events, there were still manipulation practices despite the understanding that documentative work should be untouched and natural. The use of manipulation and postproduction editing techniques was becoming more comfortable and accessible to the world.
Some examples of these images are the Lunch Atop a Skyscarper (1932), presented as a candid shot of construction workers having lunch 300 meters above New York City in the New York Herald Tribune, it was later revealed to be orchestrated to advertise the Rockefeller Center, with workers encouraged to pose.
World War II Photography (1939-45), photography captured critical moments, essential for understanding conflict. One image (Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima 1945) depicted six U.S. marines raising the flag on Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima. It became a defining image of the war, winning the 1945 Pulitzer Prize for Photography. It also faced claims of staging, though Rosenthal denied them. The photograph shows a second flag raising, not the original capture, adding to the distrust surrounding photography.
Distrust in Photography because of manipulation techniques existed to alter impressions and aesthetics which then completely altered the context of the image. It came to a rise after Yevgeny Khaldei’s (1917-97) photograph, ‘Raising a Flag over the Reichstag’ (1945) was staged to symbolize Soviet victory over Nazis during the Battle of Berlin. The image utilized soldiers to re-enact the action of raising the Soviet flag. This was done by manipulation in the darkroom to add smoke for dramatic effect using another negative. Following on from this, photographers used editing to create aesthetically pleasing compositions enhancing their work visually but this could also raise the argument of taking the context out of the image. Personally, I am a big advocate for making work that you love and want to look at and be proud of for a long time so I understand enhancing the image to become more of what you were looking for but on the flip side, using manipulation to create almost a completely new and different image for the professional use/publishing is quite immoral and unethical to me.
Interpretation in photography is all up to the opinion of the viewer. It is all subjective and the subjective nature of the photographer influences how a photograph is framed and interpreted. Overall photography involves a selection and an interpretation of the world Frank webster said this happens in 2 aspects. The photographer's role is choosing to display an image and the second role, the viewers role, interprets (reads) the photograph, decoding its meaning through the photographer's use of context.
Adobe Photoshop Release (1990):
Basic compared to today's standards, but enabled easy manipulation of photos.
Features included cloning, removing sections, and adjusting opaqueness, hue, and saturation.
Affordable and accessible, encouraging wider use.
Photography's status as a truthful medium became questionable post-Photoshop.
Numerous pre-Photoshop examples already demonstrated the potential for manipulation and editing.
Photoshop could be used as propaganda both commercially and colonially to implement a new truth. Commercially, it could be used to influence consumer perceptions and colonially they used Photoshop to sway support to dominant narratives. And some spiritual people used it to convince others that magic eg. Fairies, witches etc were real.

AI Fundamentals
Working with Matt to make some incredible AI stuff is just so much fun! Here is my presentation and planning video for the AI dream.
youtube
The script for the dream video:
Black zooming misty area into a store front that is a mix of walmart, Fry’s, and food city.
Walking into the back realizing you aren’t supposed to be there and remembering where you’re supposed to be.
Wait I’m not supposed to be here.
Yeah we can go get the milk and-
Being dragged into an area that vaguely looks like Cambridge only to be dropped back into the store.
The area flashes in and out between being a store and an airplane.
Sitting on the plane as the clouds roll by and then falling out of the plane.
Gravity moves side ways as you hold yourself up at an angle.
Walking through the meat aisle as the area turns into the garden area which looks like the fields.
I missed this.
Grabbing and looking up at a plant only to be at parkers under the tree laying down.
Airplane scene again but this time it’s the floor of the plane as you’re looking down at your feet in parkers.
The floor goes away and you fall.
Blink.
I LOVED DEVELOPING THIS VIDEO!!!!
Using AI to make my dreams come into reality is sooooooo crazy but, I loved every moment of it even the waiting process for the AI to process the prompt.
Now the first step I took was to take photos and to make paintings of things that I couldn’t take pictures of that being the portal at the very start of the video. After that I edited the pictures all in photoshop to give them that blurry dream like appearance and then from there I took them and merged a couple to together to get a really nice combination of the scenes so it’s just barely unrecognizable. Once that was all done I started putting the images through adobefirefly to get the look I wanted from them. Some of the pictures I ended up staying with the original because firefly would change the scene a bit to much sometimes. From there depending on the effect I wanted for the scene I would either use Runway, Deforum, or Pika Labs. each of these programs have their own touch and they really helped make certain moments pop!
If I just needed things to change Runway was perfect. If I needed the whole scene to move Deforum was the go-to. If I just wanted to move the camera through the scene Pika is great for that! Each of these programs has helped me convey almost exactly what my dream was like and that is PHENOMENAL!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make a good portal so I used Bruno Bucciarati's zipper portal from JoJo's bizarre adventure as a reference.
Anyways
After all of the prompting and re-prompting, I was finally able to get the videos I needed. I then added everything into Flimora and used some of the preset transitions to give the proper effect for each scene and transition between dream sections.
Tumblr media
After all of that I recorded the few lines of dialogue I remember from the dream and added somefitting music from acouple of the Youtube videos I normally listen to the sleep to. A bit of a personal touch.
And here is the final product!
youtube
I will say if I were to do something like this again I would first like to train the AI a bit more and then get into it. Just going full force was a bit difficult and there was a lot of prompting especially with Firefly. All in all, though I really enjoyed this project and I hope you can enjoy the video of my dream made by me and a couple of Artificially intelligent friends!

my girl, my muse.

— haikyuu masterlist.
— Can you lift your head a little more? — The photographer asked, and you quickly responded to the demand, disguised as a request, although you kept the same serious and emotionless countenance of almost all your editorial work. — Good, now sideways. — He gestured to the right, and you leaned your body in that direction without letting your head get too straight or too far down, there was no middle ground when it came to perfection in the kind of work you were prone to do during your photo shoots or fashion shows. — Correct your back.
— Sorry. — Y/N replied trying to find out exactly if the photographer wanted her back more tilted to the right or more turned to the left diagonal, which was the opposite direction of the first option. — Right? — The man nodded and so it was done.
The entire editing, lighting, clothing, and make-up team present there was watching you carefully, as if their eyes were measuring tapes capable of analyzing and measuring your mistakes, no matter how small they might seem or in fact be. You are a model. Models don't leave spce for imperfections, because you are the perfection. And it is because of this that when Y/N fails, she continues to act like the best. To become the best, you need to act like you already are, reality gets less salty that way.
There were still a few more pictures to be taken, but honestly, her feet were starting to hurt from standing on that low heel that provided no support for the bottom of the soles of her feet. You wanted to huff in frustration and then feel your back crunch from standing on one foot, but you couldn't, since there were several pairs of eyes watching you intently - and you couldn't look like you were downplaying your chance to be in Vogue, since your advisory team had fought for four long months to get you on the cover and inside the magazine.
Wearing Chanel, Y/N looked like a doll. And so the photographer was treating her like one.
And anyway, the photo shoot was over and you changed as quickly as your tired arms would allow, putting back your clothes that were much more comfortable and less tight than that Chanel set.
— They look great! — Akaashi commented, analyzing the camera's viewfinder where his finger was clicking on the button to play the photos, and smiled proudly. — As always. You are so professional. — You wanted to answer that you knew that. — Do you want help getting home today? — Your hands reached for the bag you had brought with you to the photo shoot and you reached for your cell phone to check the messages from your group of friends before you looked again at the man responsible for almost every marketing move in your career. — It's after 5 pm and... — You interrupted him.
— Actually, I'm meeting some friends of mine today, maybe another day, ‘kay, Akaashi? — Y/N smiled cordially before reopening the conversation with his friends and typing a message to them that he was about to leave the place where the pictures were taken and finalized. — Anyway, I'm leaving, if you have any kind of problem that needs to be spoken to me, well... you have my number, don't you? — Akaashi muttered a restrained "Yes", as if you had somehow offended him by refusing his implicit suggestion. — So, there is nothing that is important enough not to be said by message, right? See you ... next week, I guess? — Y/N now smiled without showing hers teeth, said goodbye to everyone in the room, including the photographer and the lighting crew who were a bit busy and therefore did not return the goodbye wave, and headed for the elevator of the building that housed the photo studio.
This was not the first time that Akaashi Keiji had implied that he wanted something other than professionalism with Y/N, and each time, you politely declined. You already had someone residing in your heart and filling your head with thoughts. Kageyama Tobio, specifically. But, it wasn't like there was anything official between you because your contract didn't allow dating during the first three years of modeling just to leverage your career and make you seem available to any kind of celebrity who was interested in you. And yet, neither of you cared to date anyone who was not included in your bilateral relationship.
Kageyama was a somewhat underground artist, to say the least. He wanted to be on the walls of the big art galleries in Tokyo with his paintings and also decorating the corners of contemporary art museums, but he didn't want the responsibility of it, even though you had made it clear numerous times that you would try to help him in the matter of promotion as soon as bigger jobs were given to you, like this photo shoot for Vogue. It was a big step for you, and Tobio still seemed to want to crawl in short steps towards his goal, because he always said that "his art hasn't reached the highest possible peak yet”. And nothing fairer than to let a proper artist decide when is the best time to expose his art to the rest of the continents.
Of course he would be on his outing with his friends today, because his friends were almost all the same as yours, since the group had been surviving since High School and ironically continued together during the university period, with the exception of Nishinoya, who was currently too busy traveling in various countries and outside Japan, and Asahi, who was working in Taiwan as a clothing designer. Someday perhaps Asahi would be responsible for the design of some clothes that you would wear on a catwalk.
— Hi, everybody! — You answered cheerfully as you approached the table where the eight people, including Tobio, were sitting, and automatically you missed Tanaka, but before you could comment on his absence, Shimizu was quicker to respond.
— He is busy at work.
— Oh, I see. — As you nodded, your eyes noticed Kageyama covertly push Hinata further to the side and one of his hands lightly pat the seat next to him now free and a light chuckle escaped your lips as you stood between the two friends.
Tobio's hand was soon on your knee with a gentle squeeze as if to say it was good to see you in his simple way of showing affection to you, and Yachi and Sugawara began to serve you some snacks, figuring you were hungry — and, indeed, they were not wrong. After chatting for a few minutes with Shimizu and Kei, with occasional enthusiastic comments from Hinata or Daichi, about how the photo shoot had gone, Y/N turned her attention to Kageyama's hand still on her knee and noticed that their fingers looked more callused than usual from the rampant handling of brushes and paints.
— Are your hands all right? — You asked him in whispers so as not to vocally overlap the heated conversation between Hinata, Yachi, Tadashi and Sugawara. — They look a little... bruised.
— Everything is fine. — Kageyama replied, taking a long swig of the soda he had ordered with the others and offering you his glass, in a silent question if you didn't want to drink some of the drink in it, to which you calmly denied. — I just... you know, I'm having a hard time finishing my paintings, but it's no big deal. It's just a temporary blockage. — Your eyebrows gave away your accusing look as they furrowed.
Tobio was the kind of person who charged himself, and this was not unknown to you or to anyone who was even slightly intimate with him. He went straight to the first place of perfectionism when it came to finishing or starting some new work, so much so that a few times last year you woke up in the middle of the night with a noise in your apartment after having stayed the night with Kageyama and found him in his studio too small for his immense creativity painting tirelessly, frantically. On those days it was impossible to get him to sleep before the painting was finished, he refused to do this claiming that his head would not let him sleep knowing he had left something half finished behind. Kageyama Tobio was the King of Art. And also the King of Obsession with Art.
— Did you sleep? — It was a simple question, but Kageyama's hesitation to answer and the absence of his playful tone gave him away. — What can I do for you? I want to help you solve this. Do you need more brushes? Canvas? Paint? — You cupped your face in one hand, looking at him intently and taking a brief sip from the glass placed on the table for you by Yachi.
— No, I just need time. To finish everything. — Tobio shrugged and sinking his back into the back of your seat, you put your hand over his that was still on your knee and took a deep breath.
— May I ask what exactly you are having a creative block on? We could, I don't know ... walk around some places in Tokyo to see if something might give you an idea to paint. — You shrugged. — Or watch a lot of movies or cartoons to see if it has any effect.
— I tried that before, but it didn't work. — Kageyama replied, and his suddenly impatient tone indicated that further conversation would be quite unproductive, as yours words would enter his ears, but not be reasoned out by his brain.
Yes, Kageyama Tobio was a big stubborn guy, but you knew that even before you started dating him. Sometimes it hurt to know that he wasn't as open with you as he wanted to be, but it had become routine, and just like the other times before that, you knew that letting him feel comfortable enough to open up was the right thing to do. As always. Even if it was tiring.
And then the rest of the early evening passed too quickly, soon there would only be the two of you, Sugawara and Shimizu left behind. As soon as everyone had decided to split the restaurant bill, Hinata decided to hitchhike home with Yachi, Tadashi and Daichi, while Tsukki claimed he still had to finish some things regarding his work at the end of the day and left in the opposite direction of the other four. Sugawara offers to take Shimizu to her house to ensure the girl's safety, and also because her house was in fact halfway to his.
— So... — Y/N cleared her throat with two light rehearsed coughs, those same coughs she give when she’s trying to make yourself comfortable in an unfavorable situation. — Do you want to walk home? I think it would be good for us to spend more time together. — Kageyama gave you a sidelong glance, but slowly opened a reassuring smile and his shoulders slowly relaxed.
— Yes, let's do that, princess. — He said, interlacing the fingers of one of his hands with yours, and walked out of the warm interior of the restaurant into the icy outside of Tokyo. — How did your photo session go today? I forgot to ask about it, I admit.
— Oh, it was great. — You cracked a wide smile. Asking about your day was Kageyama's way of showing that he cared about you, that he loved you, even if he couldn't translate that into words of affirmation. — The team I was assigned today was much better than the old one, the one from that Taiwanese magazine. Also, the clothes were a little more comfortable, but the shoes... were terrible. — Y/N shrugged, walking side by side with her boyfriend, who was listening attentively.
It was great to walk calmly through the city until you arrived at your house whose purchase price was still being paid, since the decision to move in together was a bit sudden, considering that he didn't want to continue living in a rented apartment in Shibuya and you needed to feel independent enough not to give up chasing your dream of being a model on your own legs, since your parents were too busy with their own lives. And when you both arrived home, the first thing you did was to watch Kageyama silently walk towards the hallway where there were two parallel doors, one to his studio; the other to the bathroom on the lower floor of the house.
— You can stop there. — Y/N grumbled, almost running towards Tobio and grabbing his shirt from behind to stop him from walking. — Where do you think you are going, huh? I'm not going to let you spend the night whining in your studio with a creative block. — He looked over one shoulder at you and frowned.
— I wasn't going to do anything.
— Liar. — You retorted, pulling him into your body and leaning against his back before resting your chin on one of his shoulders. — I told you I wanted to try to help you with your problem with painting your artwork, did you think I was kidding? Or worse: lying? — One of his hands went to his hair, and Kageyama nervously ran his fingers through the dark blue strands.
— It's not like I want to occupy you with my problem, I'm not going to die because of a simple creative block.
— It's not a "simple" creative block, Kageyama. You haven't slept properly for a long time, and you will develop some kind of serious health problem if you continue like this. Help me to help you, tell me what I have to do to be able to help you with this. — Tobio ran his tongue over his lips nervously before turning to face you and gliding his gaze down your body from head to toe and back again.
— So why don't you be my muse for just one day? — His hands landed on your shoulders, squeezed them lovingly, and then slid down your neck and jaw.
— Just for one day? I thought I had been your muse for much longer. — An amused smile appeared on his lips, but Kageyama's serious countenance indicated that he was not joking. — Wait, are you serious? — He raised and lowered his eyebrows suggestively. — I don't think... — Tobio interrupted you.
— You're a model, you certainly know how to behave with other people watching you, don't you? — Kageyama slid his hands down your back and clasped them around your waist. — I'm just asking you to be... my model, literally. My muse, my inspiration, you name it. — A sideways smile decorated his lips and you felt your cheeks gradually warm up.
— What should I do? — Tobio stepped aside to open the door to his studio and called you inside with one hand before he began to remove all the various tubes and pots of paint, rulers and brushes from the large sofa in one corner of the room, which he used more for sleeping and supporting his work instruments than for sitting down to relax while he painted.
— Do what you do best. — One of yours eyebrows arched, not knowing exactly what he was asking of you. — Model. But choose a pose to stay in longer, so I can get a basic idea of how to put your measurements on my canvas. — Kageyama pointed to the sofa, indicating for you to sit down, and you did, after which he went to set up one of his easels to put a crisp, white, well cared for canvas on that support before going to get two different cases from one of the three large cabinets in the room.
To be honest, you didn't know exactly what he wanted you to do. Posing for cameras was one thing, which you were quite used to, but to naked eyes, and specifically your boyfriend's, was something completely different. You felt naked, even though you had layers of clothes covering your skin.
A few minutes went by, and while you were still sitting on the couch with your back stiffened somewhat uncomfortably, Kageyama seemed busy with a paintbrush stuck between his lips and teeth while his nimble hands were busy sketching and tracing lines with chalk and pencil on the canvas that you couldn't see because your boyfriend and the easel, and thus the canvas, were facing away from you. But then he looked at you with a half confused and half irritated look on his face, as if silently asking what the fuck you were doing without being in a good pose for him.
— What are you waiting for? — Tobio asked after taking the brush from his lips to put it on the nearest table and drumming his fingers nervously against one of the sides of the easel.
— I... don't understand exactly what you need me to do. — Your eyes shifted to a random point in the room other than Kageyama's, who looked you up and down.
— Are you nervous? — He asked, setting the easel aside, wiping his hands on his clothes and walking toward you.
— It's just that posing for a photo shoot is different and... well... — You shrugged, leaving the rest of the sentence to your boyfriend's imagination to complete.
— I can help you be less tense, you know. — Tobio knelt down in front of her and his hands rested on her thighs, giving each a gentle squeeze. — I think you deserve to relax after a hard day's work.
— I was supposed to help you today, not the other way around.
— But I'm here to make my girl feel good. — Faced with her lack of resistance, Tobio began to unbutton her comfortable pants and take them off by pulling her body up.
His eyes slid up her upper body and soon reached her pussy and pelvis covered by the thin fabric of her panties. It was a blue color that almost matched his hair, and he smiled slightly thinking about it. Spreading his hand over your crotch, Tobio used his thumb to press on your clit without too much force and more gently before earning a light moan from you, watching you spread your legs wider, and then begin to build a rhythm of circles over that heap of sensitive nerves.
Your head fell back and rested against the couch below your body. Kageyama could easily make you cum just with the dominant aura he almost always exerted in a suffocating way over you or by using few words of command, he knew your body very well; it was almost scary. And every time you two had sex it felt like the first, even though he wasn't the one who took your virginity.
The fingers of his other hand pulled your panties aside and it was impossible for you not to feel your cheeks heat up at the sight of his tongue running across your lips, as if Tobio had not tasted you for a long time and wanted to remember the taste desperately. Your pussy pulsing around nothing seemed to get wetter as your boyfriend removed your panties to let them fall to the floor and brushed the tip of his tongue against your clit as he lifted his gaze to face you. Truth be told, Tobio didn't just enjoy making you feel pleasure, he enjoyed seeing the graphic and visual result of it.
— Why don't you let me hear those beautiful sounds of yours, hm? — After speaking his tongue licked your pussy from the bottom to the top with a slowness that bordered on torture. — Maybe I should try a little harder to get them out of you? — Opening your folds using his thumbs, Kageyama definitely buried his mouth in your cunt and began to do his job of licking, sucking, and making zigzagging and circular motions inside you.
In response, you gave him your moans that were almost like a beautiful symphony and an added stimulus to your devoted boyfriend; your hands tangled in his dark hair both in an attempt to try to process some of the pleasure that was coursing through your veins in that situation and as a way to indicate that you needed more of this. More of him, more of his touch. Kageyama put one hand on your groin again to keep you still against the couch, and moved his face into your intimacy in accordance with the erratic movements of your hips that went forcefully up and against his tongue.
And seconds before you eventually ended cumming your body tried desperately to pull away from Tobio just because you were not prepared to deal with an orgasm that would leave your mind blank, literally. Your feathers quivering and your thighs almost suffocating your boyfriend, he loved that feeling. The feeling of you being insanely delivered to whatever he wanted to do to you. It didn't take long for your previously tense shoulders to relax, your eyes to roll up and your whole body to twitch as your whole body gave in to a mind-blowing orgasm.
Breathtaking enough to give you the feeling that it would take several minutes for you to get the feeling of firmness back in your legs. And rapturous enough to make you squirt against your boyfriend's mouth and cheeks.
A satisfied and mischievous smile appeared on Kageyama's lips, and he took the liberty of lightly kissing your clit after licking the remnants of your orgasm's fluids that ran down your folds and thighs.
— My princess is so lovely, so beautiful. — Tobio lifted your body to remove the shirt and bra you had been wearing until then and also got busy removing his own clothes. — Do you think you can handle one more, baby? — One of his hands cupped your chin and made you look him straight in the eye.
— Y-Yes, please. — You answered, trying to regain control of your own breathing. — I need it so bad.
— Of course you do. — Kageyama leaned over to place a tender kiss on your lips before pulling your body up and laying you face down on the sofa with your waist resting against the arm of the furniture, meaning that while your upper body was comfortable with the softness below, your lower body was set outside the confines of the sofa. — I always know what you need, don't I? — Tobio left a trail of kisses over her exposed spine.
— Always, Tobio. — Y/N propped her elbows on the sofa and looked over one shoulder at her boyfriend. — And I love you for it.
— Really? — Kageyama raised one of his eyebrows, spreading yours legs further apart and brushing the tip of his cock against your folds. — How much do you love me, hm? — And without any kind of warning he thrust inside you quickly, suddenly widening you and making your crotch arch painfully.
Repeated curses and groans escaped your lips, and Tobio couldn't help but open a perverted smile. Yeah, this was the sight he had most wanted to see for the rest of his life: you squirming all over him. How cute, he thought.
— Fuck, Tobio... — You gasped, trying to balance your body by resting your hands on the couch, but it was impossible to focus on giving an answer to his previous question while feeling his dick pulsing inside you, you could feel every vein of Kageyama's length. — I love you so bad, and I love you even more when you're fucking me rough.
He slid one hand down her body to reach her neck and closed his hand around it, pulling her body back in the process and leaving her back against his chest. His fingers were sure to leave light red marks there. Tobio pulled his entire cock out of you only to fill you again in one strong movement.
— Like this? — Tobio asked and you desperately nodded, not trusting your vocal cords to reproduce any phrase or sound other than several moans in a row.
And then Kageyama began to thrust his hips against yours harder and harder. He wanted to go as deep into you as possible. It seemed harder and harder to breathe with his effort matching his hand around your neck choking you. And, shit, you couldn't be more satisfied and aroused, your sensitive pussy was literally dripping and making a mess on yours thighs and his cock.
— Fuck, so tight. — Tobio whispered in your ear, feeling his own climax rapidly approaching each time he buried himself inside you. — You're perfect for me, sweetheart. — He sank his teeth into your shoulder as a way to ease the tension from his increasingly sweaty body.
His other hand that wasn't busy on your neck slid up to meet your clit and was the last action to give you cum and squeeze his cock hard enough to draw Kageyama's own ejaculate. And, well... he definitely wasn't used to cumming inside you and hadn't done it before, but maybe he discovered a new kink there, at that moment his cock was painting your walls white and filling your pussy with cum. A rusky grunt escaped from the back of Tobio's throat as he pulled out of Y/N and watched a white fillet connect the tip of his dick to his girlfriend's pulsating entrance.
Leaning on the back of the couch, the dark haired man concentrated on catching his breath slowly just as you were doing lying face down on that furniture. Only after a few minutes you felt your hips ache and looked at Tobio with innocent eyes:
— Maybe you need to bathe me and put me to sleep today, take the consequences of your actions on me, baby.
— Just as I always do with you, princess. — Kageyama replied, embracing your body and gesturing for you to try to gain momentum to wrap your legs around his waist and thus lead you to the bathroom for a good aftercare session. — I'll take good care of you, angel.

02 liner aussie girl joining the group
Masterlist
...
Bang Chan
Tumblr media
° Sees you as a little sister, and will baby you nonstop for that reason alone. Expect very long hugs and him trying to beg you for some affection.
° Let Felix take charge in helping you around JYP, watching from afar like a proud father. Even if you aren't much younger than the members, he can't help but become a giddy mess when you literally do anything.
° Since he sees you as a little sister, that also means he is very protective over you. Not even Minho can tease you for too long without Chan becoming a bit tense. He just doesn't want you to ever feel uncomfortable.
° Does many vlives with you, chatting about your life and what parts of Australia you grew up in. Whenever he is introducing you or if you call him during a vlive, he'll call you little sissy.
° Many stays have made edits of Chan babying you or treating you like a literal angel, you both have watched edits like these and neither of you can deny that he doesn't do either of those things.
"My little sissy y/n did great today in our dance practice, isn't that right sissy?" he asked, sitting you on his lap.
"Yeah, Minho Oppa helped me learn quite a bit. But I couldn't have succeeded it without my personal cheerleader Chris." You replied.
Lee Know
Tumblr media
° Doesn't make a huge deal out of it, is honestly just really happy to have a new member. He doesn't care that your a girl or a fellow aussie, just sees you as a member.
° If you are ever struggling with Korean he'll do his best to try and help you, even if it is only on small thing such as the way you pronounce words. He admits to finding your struggles pretty adorable.
° Even though he is a huge tease, he'll go easy on you for the first two months. Letting you get settled in and get use to the chaotic behavior of all of them. But after those months pass, he'll start to tease.
° Minho likes to challenge you to dance battles during practice, seeing if you will ever beat him on one. But luckily whenever Snsd comes on you are in your element, showing him the true Gee master.
° Minho has a soft spot fro you due toy your age, he won't tease you too harshly and won't get mad if you don't remember one of his cat's names. All of the members notice his new soft spot for you.
"So I know Soonie, Doongie... And?" you sighed, trying to remember the third cat of Minho's.
"Dori, it's okay. At least you remembered two of them." He reassured, Felix looking at him with shock from across the room.
Changbin
Tumblr media
°When he heard that you would be joining the group, he hoped that you wouldn't make fun of him as much as the other members. And if you did, it wouldn't be too harsh.
° Appreciated that you weren't teasing him 24/7, and if you are shorter than him then he would be very smiley and giddy for days. Changbin likes your company and would often want to hang around you.
° Buys you coffee/tea every morning, and only you (occasionally Felix). And when the members ask, he explains that you earned your coffee/tea by not teasing him. Even if they haven't teased him for days.
° You are his favorite member, even if he won't admit it... Everyone knows it. You are his best friend and he doesn't want that relationship to change. Unlike the fan's pov, he sees you only as a best friend.
° Whenever he does a vlive with you, your ship name is all over the chat. Neither of you speak out about it, but both of you don't like each other in that way. And it makes situations awkward when they ship you two.
"I can't believe we're a ship, that is so weird to me." You chuckled, scrolling through Instagram on your phone.
"I know right! I don't get why a girl and a guy can't be friends without people shipping them." He sighed, clearly frustrated.
Hyunjin
Tumblr media
° Becomes putty in your hands, he just finds everything about you adorable. It also doesn't help that you are Australian, which he happens to have an interest in.
° He wouldn't describe his feelings towards you as a crush, more as a little sister and der brother relationship. He would feel weird if you ever developed something for him, since he is too close to you to be a couple.
° Very clingy towards you, constantly draping himself across you. Or sitting you on his lap when you are worn out from practice, he often let's you take naps on him. He also treats you to sweets, even when on diets.
° Hyunjin once got frustrated over how JYP was treating you, giving you an extreme diet even though you were already working hard enough. So he'd reassure you that him and Chan would talk with JYP about it.
° Hyunjin can be seen copying your accent, whether it be for fun or just to tease you. He'll copy or pick up on your accent, many fan's hearts melting at his determination to be part of the aussie line.
"I shouldn't be having this cupcake." You sighed, placing the cupcake you've been eyeing for the past few minutes.
"Screw JYP, eat what you want. You are your own person and shouldn't listen to some old man." He defended, passing the cupcake.
Han
Tumblr media
° Was the first member you met, even though it was by total accident. You both ran into each other when he was leaving the building and you were entering.
° You dropped the coffee all onto yourself in shock, making him chuckle as he tried to help you clean yourself up. He helped you into JYP, having no clue that you are going to be the new member joining.
° When Chan introduced you to the members the next day, Han was shocked. He was surprised to see a familiar face, but was also pleased knowing you seemed to be quite a sweet and charming person.
° You both are the stars whenever on reality shows together, many seeing you both as a chaotic duo. Doni and Coni once tried to correct you, telling you that women shouldn't be so hyper. Han got pissed.
° Not only did Han correct them on their manners, but also told them that a man shouldn't tell a woman what to do. Many fans and netizens applauded him for protecting his new and sweet Maknae.
"I swear those guys get on my nerves sometimes, don't listen to them." He sighed, patting your head softly.
"It's okay Hannie, I'm glad that I have some older brothers to stand up for me." You reassured, melting his heart.
Felix
Tumblr media
° You are nervous to be around Felix, not because he's intimidating or harsh. But because he is so nice and angelic, and you don't want to develop a crush on a member.
° Even if you don't see him in that light at first, it will happen eventually because he has such an addicting energy that surround him. Felix is a sunshine, and it isn't hard to see why everyone loves him.
° Felix wants to make you feel as comfortable as possible, usually being the member picking up pads/tampons for you. He secretly develops a small crush on you, but he knows it would end up bad.
° You both would be worried about it ending bad due to the popularity of the band, Felix's popularity, your new career, and JYP's strict rules. So both of you don't truly progress that side of your relationship.
° It could blossom into something more serious in the future, but for right now it is just a mutual crush that both of you must hide. Your friendship is still very strong nonetheless, and you appreciate that.
"Okay here's a hard question, Back Door or All In?" you asked, as the managers watched you both from behind the camera.
"Neither because you aren't in them." He answered, trying to play it off as playful more so than flirtatious.
Seungmin
Tumblr media
° Seungmin is your dorm mate, who always manages to make your nights more calm. He reassures you every night that you are doing great, even if you don't believe him.
° You both wrote down a schedule for dishes, laundry, cooking ect. The only exceptions to it is having a terrible day, birthday, or being sick. Either than that then you must follow the schedule stuck into the fridge.
° You both have derpy photos of each other as your wallpapers, both being taken when both of you just woke up. Seungmin can't help but giggle silently whenever he opens up his phone, looking at your bed head.
° Seungmin helps you out with waking up, letting you get use to the schedule of being an idol. Taking as many pillows to the face as he needs to for you to finally wake up, Once getting feathers in his hair due to it.
° Many think you both knew each other before you became a member, but you both explained that you just understand each other well and clicked when you met. Neither of you grew up together.
"Is today you dish day or mine?" he asked, bottle of soap already in his hand ready to begin cleaning.
"Mine, but I had a terrible day today. JYP critiqued everything about me." You huffed, getting a soft hug from Seungmin.
Jeongin
Tumblr media
° Is glad he won't be babied as much since he isn't the maknae anymore, but will miss the benefits of being able to aegyo your way out of responsibilities.
° All of the members call you the babies or the baby line, even if either of you ar taller than some of them. Jeongin is also appreciative that he now has someone to relate to with being a babied quite often.
° He'll still call you noona just to get under your skin, but you honestly don't mind being called noona or unnie. Especially since some stays are younger than you, but you can become playfully annoyed at times.
° Jeongin will warm up to you very fast and treat you like a sister, he'll spoil you with stuffies and share his food with you every meal. Even though mama gets scold him for it, he doesn't care and continues to do it.
° Chan will cover both of your eyes when the members do something sexy, even if you kind of want to see it (mostly to tease them). But you understand why, since both fo you will get flustered by it easily.
"Y/n noona likes to steal my food sometimes." Jeongin admitted to fans, smiling at your playful glare.
"You share your food and insist I eat it Jeongin Oppa." You defend, watching the fans respond to the situation.

Do you ever get a burst of inspiration it makes you wanna cry? Like, finally, you are feeling something. Finally, you feel excited again. You feel like you are once again in your element but in a much much better position.
I have to say I've been feeling much better lately about my life. I mean, the relevant things that I give a fuck about, they're still there, for some reason, I feel like I am high on something and there's this sense of calm when I remember them as opposed to constantly feeling overwhelmed.
My theme for the past weeks now has been. "i live in new york fuckin city!" and it's not so much about romanticizing this place any more. It's like reality has finally set in and I am just realizing how fuckin blessed I am to live in this incredible city and I mean this in it's most basic form. Incredible.
I am currently reading this book by Olivia Laing called "The Lonely City" and although I am a bad reader (my mind just wanders whenever I try to read and stay focused) and the author loves using fancy words like arbitrary, I am enjoying it and all its challenges for me. In the book, she mentions the name of the artist, Stanley Stellar. She in fact mentioned several artists for for some reason that day, I looked up Stellar's works (he is a photographer) on Google.
This is one of his photos and one that made such an impact on me. Tumblr won't let me upload the image here. ugh
I couldn't really pinpoint as to why. Perhaps it's because I like how daring it is. Could also be because of that Keith Haring graffiti moment (i am not actually sure if that's his but it looks like it.) Maybe I just like the composition. The colors maybe? The two guys getting it in the background? I am not sure. All I know is this photo spoke to me. Enough that it made me want to start taking photographs again and reach out to the artist himself via Instagram. I know! Insane! And he actually responded very quickly. I asked him if he took this photo since at that time, I was having a hard time verifying. He said yes, he took it. Our interaction was short and sweet. He liked two of my photos on Instagram. I also only have 2 photos total on there LOL
But yeah, for the past few days, I have been going out there, doing street photography. As per usual, I don't know what about this genre of photography that appeals to me. I dunno. I just find it so cool. And as much as I get really nervous when I am out there taking photos, I couldn't quite stop. I have been watching a bunch of Youtube videos trying to learn as much as I can about my camera and photography in general.
Here are some of my favorite photos I've taken yesterday.

I like that doing street photography forces me to go out of my apartment and it gives me a sense of purpose. I found this video today showing the manual process of developing, printing, and editing film photography. I find this so cool.

Anyway, we are so close to New Year. I don't have anything planned. I didn't really do anything during Christmas. I was on call but I was never used and I haven't worked a trip for over a week now.
It's starting to get real cold here in New York. I get really down and depressed during the winter. I know this know having experienced it the first time last year and I'd like to think I am more self-aware now. I know my triggers and that's a good thing.
I want to go to Williamsburg today while it's still bright out.
Catch you on the flip side. Bye!
