as for writing tips, i don’t really have much wisdom to offer, i’m afraid 😅 (i’m literally on my way to becoming iwaizumi hajime (27) athletic trainer) but i’ll try my best!

- write who/what you love! don’t force yourself to write characters or prompts you’re uncomfortable/unfamiliar with.

- don’t focus too much on length. wanna write 300 word drabbles or headcanons? go for it. wanna write 10k word fics? go ahead (just please use the readmore function)

- write when you’re in the mood, not when you feel like you have to. writing’s not a chore, it’s supposed to be fun. a lot of my fics end where they do bcs i’m tired 😂 i can crank out 1k words in half an hour if im inspired, other days it can take me way longer

- if i’m in a writing slump or just looking for ideas, i watch my favourite shows/listen to music, and sometimes i find inspo there (the office rivals dynamic was actually inspired by the leads’ relationship in the show new girl)

- i dunno…everyone’s writing process is different. personally i put a lot of focus into dialogue. like, does this sound like something kuroo would say? and then build everything else around that

There's this white gay who talks about HP and the surrounding. I had noted that I dunno anything about HP (I haven't read it since middle school & I never finished the last set of movies), and that I refuse to try because I don't support Rowling. She said that she just watches the new movies on Netflix or other streaming sites and keeps up with the material. Aight but I'm like I'm not spending any money on someone who I know is massively sitting in transphobia, antisemitism, and racism.

She gone say "Yeah I know that. But it's better than going to the movies since the money isn't adding to a major box office profit."
