#writing this down for my If/then AU#i dont usually get to use cryptic pregnancies bc they're all lesbians#but just think about it#it's before theyre married. before theyve talked about having kids#i like to think theyre pretty young. I want to dat early 20s#not feasible if theu have a realistic school timeline but they don't have that in canon so idk why id do that now#theyre like 24#Remus is home from deployment. they live together but its pretty new#especially when remus is gone so much with work#one day shes at home and Matthew is at work and she can feel that sonething is wrong#she has no idea what it is but something is very very very wrong and shes concerned. she probably calls Matthew#she ends up giving birth (shocking since she was still perfectky skinny had no symptoms and didny jnow she was pregnant)#(obviously y'knoe a cryptic pregnancy)#it's probably on the toilet because thats incredibly common#he gets home immediately after the birth and finds her holding this bloody newborn with the cord still snaking into her#and remus just says that something still feels wrong and slumps against him barely conscious due to blood loss#she hemorrhages bad#but Matthew manages to save her <3#and now they have TWO daughters (Remus's daughter Tessa and then this one together)#idk drama. pregnancy complications. love.#james is rambling again#ocs#rambling#thoughts#writer#writing#original character
