Will there be a tamersona week for 2021? I participated in the last one and really enjoyed it!

Yes! And this is a horribly late reply, I am very sorry about that. I do owe an explanation so here's the issue on why it's later than last year

The personal life excuses on why Tamersonaweek is late this year:

Much like everyone else, I had a series of unfortunate events during 2020 where I Lost a tooth (still in the process of trying to get the replacement, a whole year later.) Had my identity stolen and a theft committed in my name, got diagnosed with beginning stages of Skin C*ncer, began a series of 6 removal procedure surgeries which led to my arms being all but useless for a few months unable to draw, became bed ridden for a few days with severe back/neck pain that nearly caused me to black out a few times, caught Covid and was bedridden for half a month again, work kept closing/re-opening, lost my promotion and higher pay at work, applied to two different jobs (both of which lasted less than a month), had a fender bender that has currently dipped into the last bit of savings I had left to pay for the remainder surgery bills (not having insurance is hell) and this was just July-Decsmber, it's been, stressful to say the least.

The Tamersonaweek related excuses on why Tamersonaweek is late this year:

Coming up with a new theme is Hard. Not on the surface level but there were three things I had to consider at all times that made it a bit difficult to set anything down in stone;

A. If I do the same questions as last time, it will be boring and alienate the people who have participated who won't want to re-say the same things.

B. If I Don't do the same questions as last time, it will alienate people who are new that Want to talk about their self-insert/partner/their story/etc

C. People are usually burned out when it comes to July because of Art fight + getting ready for Odaiba Day. The timing of it last year, even though it Was decided on by popular vote, still wasn't objectively the Best. But every other time slot that would be fun/semi significant was either taken or [insert life problem here] happened and it became fully difficult once again.

BUT, after talking it over with a friend and spending about 3 days brainstorming we have come up with something that we Hope will be fun for you guys!

I'm currently working on making a little info sheet on the event/details/prompts (and then will have to convert it to a Twitter-friendly post)

BUT I feel like it's okay to share the theme and planned dates

September 16th-September 22nd

Choose your own Camp Adventure!

Each day will have a scenario linked to a random number generator with possible outcomes based on your 1-10 results

For Example Day 3 will be:

"Second day at Camp and you heard a noise coming from the abandoned cabin, what do you do?!"

1-2: "Nope not interested bye!"

3-4: "Oh it's my old friend _______!" (OCs/canon characters are welcome!)

5-6: "Oh SHIT ITS MY OLD ENEMY_______!" (OCs/canon characters are welcome!)

7-8 "Hey it's that other Tamer/Camper! Hi!"

9-10: "Forget checking! I'm going to IMMEDIATELY FIGHT IT!!!"

You are more than welcome to write/draw/talk about your own responses outside of the given prompts!

There is NO requirement to draw or write a fully detailed anything

The first Two days WILL be the same as last year's, where you can introduce yourself, and Then your Digimon partner!

Tamersonaweek has always been about showing off and appreciating yours and other people's self inserts, it's an event made in mind with everyone (hopefully) having fun which is why I would love to hear opinions on it/this format! Yes this wasn't an easy thing to work on, but good or bad I Would like to hear what people have to say on if this is a good direction to take Tamersonaweek in for future events!)
