Have you heard of that Unovian tradition? To put pages in bottles and let them float away in the sea? That's what Y/N did to the pages in her journal.

Y/N was never seen again."

Over time, over many years, the pages of Y/N's journal were slowly found, though most did not understand the significance.

But there was one journal entry Y/N wrote, just before dying disappearing which she never told anyone about. It contained the truth and reason behind the yellow and white pokemon. Ironically, it was discovered by her ancestor and a fluffy cinderace, though they never told a soul about it.
