Did you at least buy the catchers from actual indigenous people?

i didn't buy them at all! my dad donated to local tribe charities, and they would occasionally send us them in the mail as a thank you. every single one hanging from my ceiling came from those letters.

i'm not sure how authentic the actual catchers are, given i had no idea which charities they were, but 1: no money was spent on them, and 2: i was a literal single-digit-aged scared child, i sure as hell wasn't able to discern authenticity of the materials. i was just thrilled that they were making my nightmares go away. now that i'm an adult making actual adult money, if at any point i start having nightmares again, the first thing i'm doing is researching a local indigenous small business to add even more impenetrableness to my impenetrable force field.
