my reblogs over the past few days have probably made it clear but i just felt like making a pinned post.

part of the appeal of furbies for me is that they aren't for everyone. as someone who feels weird and different and alone, furbies feel like a kindred spirit.

and as much as i personally am not a huge fan of the appearance of our new friend 2023 furby, i don't want to see furblr encourage hate towards the furbies and especially not towards those that love them! we can't all be weird and different in exactly the same way, i welcome any and all types of weird lil guy!

#2023 furby #i saw a few posts in the 2023 furby tag referencing hate for them and those that love them #i have only really seen a few memes about breeding practices and personally i find them funny #but i want everyone to feel welcome in furblr bc thats something i feel is inherent to furblr #its important to me that all furbies are welcome in furblr #i don't reblog a whole lot of booms or connects and likely once the hype dies down i'll reblog less of the 2023 #although ngl i'm really curious to see some 2023 customs so i'll def be reblogging those when i see them #but that doesn't mean i want them to feel unwelcome #my furbies love all of your furbies and are giving them lil smooches on their wittol heads #furby fandom #furby community #furblr
