do you think ronan ever grows out of HIS jealousy with adam?

no baby i don't. ronan's got an abandonment wound the size of the marianas trench. ronan also possesses massive amounts of ego towards the more superficial aspects of his person (appearance, wealth) because of his upbringing. however he also peacocks a lot; some of his bravado is false/showy. i think he is probably going to feel like a nuisance for the rest of his life, but it will get smaller, he will grow bigger around it. wrt specifically adam i think there will be times he overcompensates because of some perceived issue, but adam isn't the kind of person who would give ronan any reasons to worry (multiple times in text he is described as loyal, multiple times by outsiders he is perceived as having an unusual single minded focus on ronan and his person/wellbeing). in my opinion ronan is the one who proposes because he just can't stand not having that shit locked down and needs the peace of mind that comes along with holy matrimony. his internal monologue is like... bizarrely insecure as an adolescent though, so he's going to have to work on it as he grows. i personally don't assume he stagnates; so it's my opinion that he turns out fine. it doesn't ever go away, but it gets better. i also think sometimes adam uses his jealousy against him, but that's more like a sex/kink thing than it is adam really trying to make him feel insecure/worried. lmao
