Veridia's hills sport many natural caves. Its residents have exploited some for iron and other ores, but high above the village is one where the edges of reality and the otherworld blur, marked by the gods as a sacred place by the pure white tree growing outside the entrance. Sims trek here to leave offerings to the underworld guides as well as to conduct rites and inter their dead within the cave's niches.
