feeling like a gamer
#my latest forays into games have been incredibly successful and i know it's cause the game is made easier for me#but ACTUALLY I LOVE WHEN GAMES ARE MADE EASIER FOR ME#virtual console zelda savestates make the game perfect for me to play without worrying i'll lose all my progress#bleed 2's easy mode and forgiving checkpoints made it so i could complete the entire story mode#difficulty settings Are an accessibility tool and i appreciate them so much#i'm so happy being able to play through and beat a game it makes me feel satisfied and accomplished#i know there's lots of people out there who want their games to be challenging so they can slowly become good at them and beat challenges#and that's why i love difficulty settings so much. nightmare difficulty for those people. and 'easy/relaxed/story' mode for people like me#i don't have good reflexes and i panic and make random motions when i'm pressured#so i need games to give me the space and forgiveness to fuck up my moves constantly#and still let me succeed when i finally hit the right buttons lmao#bleed 2 is good i highly recommend it. it was quite intense and my finger joints were getting fucked up#so i switched to using my ring finger to click the mouse and (while slower) i was still able to succeed at the game perfectly fine#that's good easy mode
