Bro really just called Sonic the "ultamite lifeform" like, that's your thing!!you!you called him the name! The name!!!

That's not even flattery that like a giant part of his identity and how he originally presented himself-

AND THEN SONIC CALLS HIM "SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG" LIKE THEY LITERALLY JUST SWAPPED NAMES-I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOREVER!!!

(Aka: Sonic the ultamite liform, and shadow the hedgehog. )

Shadow gives him his title, which considering he's on the verge of death- must've taken a lot to do and admit! And then sonics speech about how he was a hero and how shadow isn't this "creation brought to destroy" or the "ultamite lifeform"- shadow's just shadow. He's just like him, he's shadow the hedgehog a brave hero who gave his life to save the earth and I-

Then during the whole fight, sonics all like "shadow go back to the arc!" "Shadow are you okay?" And then shadow's just monopolizing, but then after awhile he starts worrying about sonic too and I'm just- 🥺😢

Honestly I could go on and on (I have and will) but this is just scratching the surface!

Let's not forget sonic trying to save shadow, risking his own life to do so. (Which not only shows sonics compassion/kindness as a character, but the fact that shadow ends up thanking him in the Twitter takeover and he's just like "shadow..🥺" and sonics all like "my favorite battle is against the bio-lizard with all my freinds" FREIND "S" !? THERE WAS ONLY ONE FREIND YOU WERE WITH AND IT WAS SHADOW!! EVERYONE ELSE WAS ON THE ARC CHEERING YOU TWO ON!)

Then holding his braclet ring and giving it Rouge as a sentimental gift- then looking out at the window (assumingly back at earth) saying "the ultamite lifeform.."

(Which i have already talked about in an even longer post, but this scene actually mimics shadow's scene when he's thinking of Maria- and Amy shows up in both scenes to get the boys moving away from the melancholy window and back to reality.)

Which out of context is so random, "why would sonic suddenly say that?" ITS BEACUSE OF THAT LINE!! HES THINKING OF SHADOW!!

SONIC EVEN SAYS THE EXACT LINES MARIA SAID TO SHADOW WHEN SHE SENT HIM DOWN TO THE ARC!!

YKNOW- MARIA!! THE GUY SHADOW LITERALLY DIED AND HAD THE ENTIRE REVENGE ARC FOR?!?

This game is incredible.

I don't even say this for shipping purposes- this is just me talking about things I have picked up and examined over the years of constantly rotating these two and this game in my head.

its always "i love you" and never "i think i finally understand what the ultimate lifeform is, it might be you"
