me trying to be optimistic about an unnecessary plot line in an otherwise delicious k-drama:
you know what, if i survived Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4, I can endure this
#this is me trying to prepare myself for the potentially stupid past connection in#love scout#i swear to god if jiyun's dad died saving eunho...............#i don't even know how they're going to resolve that level of resentment and guilt in the 8 episodes left#the only way this can be interesting is if they explore how two people can respond to the same 'type of trauma' in very different ways#and manifest very different kinds of pathological perfectionism#which somehow makes them compatible because they balance each other out#if eunho's caretaking fills the void in jiyun's life and she gives him space to not be okay rather than defaulting to self-sacrificing mode#that would be *chef's kiss* but also probably asking too much of a k-drama sadly
