there's something about ppl who are so close to getting it but just fall short of the mark, where they make safe, universally agreed upon "haha capitalism hell!" jokes, but then turn around and make other's lives miserable in the name of capitalism

#i don't care about sales goals i don't care about UPT or conversion i don't care we're up for the year but down for the week i don't care i #don't care i don't care I DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!#I DON'T SEE ANY OF THAT MONEY!!! i just in the past few months dragged my ass above the poverty line after being food and housing insecure #or a year and a half!!#we don't get ANY of that money!!!! why do you care!!! why are you making it my problem!!!#i'm not going to celebrate when we meet our sales goal or mourn when we don't THATS NOT MY FUCKING PROBLEM!!!!!!!#i had...... a rough one at work yesterday if it wasn't obvious.#it would be one thing if it was entirely cold and corporate #but there's this veneer of caring about employees whilst hounding us and being passive aggressive and talking down to us #then trying to be relatable with jokes about capitalism when you make more than me and i've been actually doing my job all day while you've #just been bugging people hindering our work and pretending to be important #and doing things wrong because who's running the store when you're not around for your once every few months check in??#THE SALES ASSOCIATES.#i've been over scheduled like a madman lately and i had one day off in nine days this past week and got called and asked to come in #like girl i don't know how to tell you this but i have A Life #this is one of the better jobs i've had in my life and i do like it but man on the days that its bad it's BADD
