ok some of the tags under this post are weird to me, i should’ve never started this discourse

iwtv fandom is funny because there's a collective headcanon of lestat being the submissive babygirl/Mother while the show tells us the opposite, they even call louis a housewife 🤭

#i don't appreciate being told i don't understand subtext just because i don't wanna reduce lestat to bratty bottom #be serious there's no subtext in the show telling us the bisexual genderfluid 200 year old vampire is strictly a sub bottom #like besties lestat was based off of anne rice's ex-husband who was literally her dom i'm not making this up #at the end of the day they're both vampires who'll live forever #if you want to assign them strict roles go ahead i just think it's a little silly #but don't act like it's some deep thing that people can't understand #i fully understand why the fandom did this
