> Calling Mani the "suicidal ideation" man (that lives in its head) isn't Entirely Accurate, but it IS funny. There is no geniune ideation, current day -- Mani is just full of bad advice that gets worse the more pressure its under, which can be traced back to when that Was something Moe geniunely struggled with. Maladpative stress responses. (Also. It Does live in Moe's head.) 

> Which is exactly what "old habits" refers to,  beyond topics of suicidal thoughts/self-harm. It is Broad and All Encompassing. It's everything Moe was made to do, to survive and protect itself. From Performing Perfection, to its high feminity, to its autistic masking. AND MORE! PROBABLY!

> Mani is a lot of things. Its more of a manifestation than it is a memory. Of what Moe has come to resent and disagree with the most about its past, a reflection of Moe's negative feelings for that period of its life. But this isn't a story of self-loathing. At its very core, Mani is a protector. It's a culmination and concoction of everything it has done to survive. The bad, the even worse, and the straight-up just counter-productive.
