eddy and i both giving gil wine trauma is one of my favorite bits of overlap in our characterization of him tbh. zealot little christian boy can't stomach the eucharist, sad!
#i do think there's some extra angst with pruaus with jewish roderich also.....#rod inviting him to pretty much any holiday or even just shabbos dinner and gil being unsure how to politely decline the wine....#ESPECIALLY if it's like. purim. and rod explained it to him in part by mentioning it's a mitzvah to get drunk
