finally found the crunchy used hardcovers that i craved so now i guess i just have two pristine paperbacks to offer to the next person in my life who exhibits a trace of interest in alexander the great..?

#but for now i'm just an unhinged person with too many copies of these books lol #i bought another of her non-alexander books too bc i missed her prose a bit #didn't find the biography she wrote of him though but did visit the history basement of this used bookstore for the first time #funny what a fixation will lead you to #i didn't get any regular history books though bc i don't need a repeat of my sherlock holmes shelf #and also because i feel like. objectively at my level of history comprehension there is not THAT much more that i can learn lmao #and yes waver guards the alexander shelf. ofc.#levblogging
