#yena talks#they soundes their best back then ≠ they sound really bad rn#but like. idk#i just think it's clear woozi had so much more time to focus on his music back then#2020 was when he was really into brass and active bass and its so obvious and i love it#i could write whole essays on semicolon as qn album for example bc it's just so musically complex#but nowadays everything feels like it didnt have enough time#for example. the fact that from 2023-2025 theres stafted to be features on their albums#the fact that songs are shorter? the fact fhat 17is right here was basically just a rerelease of their discography?#it's so clear they just dont have TIME and it makes me devastated#yes theyre more popular than ever yes theyre busy bc of that#im not saying thats a bad thing (their rising popularity that is) (though it cpuld be in some ways but thats another can of worms)#but their music is reflectong this in the fact rhat it feels more... forced#like theyve been told to attend concerts hold shows etc AND continue truing go make music st the same standard as before#which is ofc not possible bc. time#not saying theyre bad now bc woozi is literally a god and everything he produces had fhis Heart to it that no one can replicate#but still.
