The Truth Behind It All
Summary: Charles didn't cheat on his ex with his current gf, but due to not wanting to cause further issues with his ex, he can't really come out and give the true story.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The speculation had started to get out of hand. Suddenly, comment sections became bombarded with the most disgusting and hateful things she had ever heard. But Charles’ comment sections remained fine, as long as he didn’t post her. Sure, his pr team was most likely deleting anything on there that wasn’t positive, but compared to his girlfriend’s page, he still had tons and tons of love.
She understood it, somewhat. She knew she would never support someone who cheated on their partner. But that isn’t what happened with her and Charles. After his unexpected break up with his ex following her own affair, he went out drinking that same night. Charles had always said it was a blessing that ‘his darling found him then’, when he was at his lowest, and had been his saving grace. There was no cheating on his part.
Charles hadn’t noticed the change in behavior coming from his girlfriend. He had been away for the weekend for some work related events. Her texts didn’t particularly seem off, but they were only words, it was easy to fake enthusiasm through messages. He should have checked in sooner given what he had seen on twitter.
The house was dark and quiet when Charles got back. It seemed to be unoccupied until he made it to their shared bedroom and saw his girlfriend under the covers. 16:00 was an unusual time to be asleep, but he soon realized she was awake as sniffles became audible in the once silent room.
“Darling, what is wrong, huh? I thought you would be happier to see me” He teased, trying to get a feel for the situation.
She didn’t respond. She didn’t even sit up.
“Honey? Come on, what is bothering you?” He cooed as he knelt by her side.
“As much as you say it, you aren’t stupid, Charles, you know what's wrong.” He finally got a good look at her tear stained eyes as she pulled the covers off slightly. He knew then should have checked in.
“They are just comments. Rude ones, I know, but simply comments. I have gotten bad ones before. It will all go away, honey, this isn’t the end of the world-”
“It feels that way.” She said as she sat up. “Charlie, do you see the comments I’m getting on instagram? The more comment sections I disable, the farther back people go. Someone was just commenting on my middle school graduation post that they hoped I was bullied. What kind of insane person does that?”
He hadn’t realized they had gotten that bad. Seeing how swollen her face was from crying, he felt tears threatening to fall himself.
“I just want to be enough, Charles, but I don’t feel like I ever will be as long as you let the media dictate how you feel. I want you to love me because you love me, not because the media does. As much as it is unfair and as much as it sucks, you are a public figure. You aren’t just an athlete, you are a brand. You need to be in the spotlight and be loved by fans to sustain yourself long after you retire. You can’t have both me and your fanbase, they have made sure of that.”
“Honey, we can just go private. Make it seem like we broke up until they stop caring.”
“But we shouldn’t have to! I know you don't want to bash your ex but having people think that we were the ones cheating when it was her is unfair. Plus, you're not the one getting harassed, they act like this is only my fault.”
“It is unfair sweetheart, I understand that very much, but they will forget and move on.”
“They won’t Charles, so long as you are in the spotlight and attractive, people will love you and care about who you are dating. I-” She cut herself off from what she was about to say. She really didn’t want to say it.
“What, love?”
“I cannot continue like this. If we are going to be together, we can’t keep letting the public think what they currently do. Either address it or I am done.” With that she walked out of the room, rushing down the stairs to grab her keys and put on her shoes as she left a stunned and silent Charles still in the bedroom.
Hours passed with no hint of when his girlfriend would be back. He left message after message until he decided to let her be for the time being. He got on a call with his PR team to assess what could be done but didn’t like the answer he got.
A tough conversation was waiting to be had and both of them knew it.
Finally, around midnight, he heard the front door open. Immediately standing from the couch, he walked over to hug her.
“I was so worried. I didn’t know when you'd be back.” He whispered into her hair as he rubbed her back.
“I know, Charles, I needed to clear my head, and I think you did too.” This was it. Both felt their stomachs sink as they sat down. Both were silent as they waited for the other person to speak up.
“I had a meeting with PR. Honey, they said there is nothing I could say that wouldn’t have large consequences. To talk about everything that happened after all this time would be petty, and defending you is wrong.” “It’s wrong? Defending me for something I didn’t do is wrong? God, Charles, do you even hear yourself? How are you letting your team call the shots and ruin our relationship like this?”
“I am not ruining our relationship, you are the one who is giving me an impossible choice. And that isn’t what I meant. It would just look bad-”
“Defending me from getting death threats wouldn’t look bad. You are being so stupid right now.”
“Don’t talk to me like that. Weren’t you the one earlier saying I wasn’t stupid? But now I am because I won’t let you call the shots on making decisions that would have large impacts on my career?”
“If defending your girlfriend is going to tank your career then what kind of fucking fans do you have, Charles? Clearly not ones you would want to keep around.” “Enough! I won’t talk about this anymore.”
“Then we are done. I won’t settle for continued harassment over something I didn’t do, and if you won’t defend me then I don’t know what I am even doing here.” Charles remained silent at that. What could he even say in this situation? In his mind, his hands were tied.
Oh how unfair it all was.

When Your Boyfriend's a Reformed Mean Girl
100 percent inspired by this tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTR75sjkf/
Time seems to do wierd things for Eddie Munson.
It's something Steve has gotten used to, in the year they've been dating. Eddie is attentive and affectionate, always makes sure Steve needs are being met, always goes the extra mile to let Steve know how much he loves him, how much he cherishes their time together. In many ways, he's the best partner Steve's ever had.
Just...sometimes things like approaching deadlines and important dates seem to literally not register in his brain until it's almost too late. And not even then, sometimes.
Eddie acknowledges that it's a problem. He puts every effort into finding workarounds. There is a calendar hanging at both his (brand new, government-funded) trailer and Steve's house, hanging right by the door with color-coded schedules and a pack of Post-It notes and a cup of pens sitting on a little table below it in case something changes or comes up. Steve has a dedicated half hour every night where he's allowed to remind Eddie of things they have coming up, or ask if they've been added to the calendar and Eddie is one hundred percent not allowed to gripe about being nagged in that thirty minutes. Not that he would, because most of the time there's at least one, "Oh, shit, forgot about that." When something slips through the cracks, he apologizes promptly and sincerely if it's something that affects someone other than him and he is always trying to do better.
Steve understands. Hell, after as many concussions as he's had, details get away from him too sometimes. There's several color-coded blocks on the calendar for Steve, as well. Sometimes, Eddie just forgets things despite his best efforts.
But their anniversary? The date that Steve has been carefully planning for almost a month to celebrate their first (of hopefully, many) year together as a couple? Really?
Eddie is going to be horrified.
He is going to feel so bad, and so guilty, and he is absolutely going to go all out to make it up to Steve. Steve knows this. He knows Eddie loves him, and that Eddie was looking forward to tonight as much as he was, and that this is just an instance of Eddie's brain betraying him, and not him actively trying to hurt Steve, or be dismissive of him. Eddie is going to feel awful when he realizes that he stood Steve up on their one-year anniversary to fight imaginary dragons with the boys. Hell, the boys are probably going to feel awful when they realize they gave Eddie something else to focus on in the lead-up to his one-year anniversary.
Well. Dustin, Lucas, and Will are going to feel awful. Mike will probably think it's hilarious.
The point is, Steve knows Eddie didn't do this on purpose, and it's not that Eddie doesn't value his time with Steve enough to remember the date, and so he's merely irritated. Maybe a little exasperated. Not truly angry.
All he has to do is radio over to Wheeler's place and remind Eddie what the date is. His boyfriend will literally drop everything, will probably not even bother to pack up his precious miniatures and dice before he's tearing out of the driveway and breaking every traffic law imaginable to get to Steve's house. Steve doesn't actually want Eddie to get a ticket or anything, though. Besides.
He's feeling a little petty.
There's steaks waiting to be tossed on the grill, twice-baked potatoes in the oven, and a fucking homemade chiffon cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream chilling in the fridge. Eddie's gift is sitting on the counter, in an elegant little gift bag tied with black ribbon.
"Hey Rob, you wanna come over for dinner?" he says into his walkie, deciding to let Fate decide if his boyfriend is listening and catches a clue.
"Do I get a piece of that cake you made?" Robin replies immediately, amusement already dancing in her voice because she's his (platonic) soulmate and she can read his mind.
"You can take the leftovers home," he says.
And then his (romantic) soulmate, who can usually read his mind, comes over the channel as well. "Have fun, babe!" Eddie says brightly. "This is probably going to run later than I thought. I'll probably just pick you up for breakfast tomorrow, okay?"
Steve rolls his eyes fondly. "Okay."
"Love you!" Eddie says, and signs off.
Robin brings a bottle of wine she stole from her parents' pantry and they demolish the dinner and half the cake. Steve does get another package of steaks out to thaw in the fridge for tomorrow, though, and blows out the fancy candles he'd lit before they burn too low to be used again. Fuck if he's making another chiffon cake, though, persnickety little thing. He calls Enzo's and orders a chocolate marble cheesecake to be picked up tomorrow.
"So you gonna milk this for a nice present or what?" Robin asks as Steve is packing the remains of the cake for her to take home, as promised.
"Nah. He's fucking perfect like 90% of the time...I'm not gonna get mad at him for the other ten." Robin smiles at him, a little gooey-eyed. Steve returns it with a smirk. "But I'm not letting him off the hook entirely."
He has just finished putting the dishes away when he hears the rumble of Eddie's van in the driveway. He glances down at his watch, laughing to himself a little when he notes that while late, it is far, far too early for a gaming session to be done. He scoops his little gift bag off the counter and saunters to the front door just in time for a frantic knocking to sound. He schools his features and opens the door.
"Steve! Stevie, baby, I am so, so sorry. I swear to God, I had tonight written down in like five different places, but Dustin wanted to try a new character class and we haven't done this campaign yet, and I got so excited...I'm so sorry I forgot, but I'm here and I SWEAR I will make it up to you!" Eddie pauses for breath, wild-eyed and panting.
Steve holds the silence for a moment, and then shakes his head, leaning forward to drop a kiss on Eddie's cheek. "You're such a nerd," he says, affection dripping from his words. He sighs. "I hope you know, now I'm expecting flowers tomorrow. And I get to pick the movies for, like, two weeks with no complaints."
Eddie almost wilts in relief. "Absolutely none," he promises, reaching out to grip Steve's hand. "I will make tomorrow night AMAZING. I promise."
Steve smiles at him, his chest aching with the love he feels for this man. But he's still feeling just a little bit petty. He holds the bag out to Eddie, tilting his head coyly. "You can still open this tonight, though."
"Babe! I thought we said no gifts." He takes the bag in his hands, plucking at the ribbon.
Steve's smile turns just a little sharper. He worked fucking hard on that cake. "It's kind of for both of us, really. It's what I was gonna wear up to bed tonight."
Eddie peeks in the box, his brow furrowing. "Stevie...there's nothing but strawberry lip gloss and a bottle of lube in here." He looks up, and freezes as his brain catches up with what his mouth just said.
Steve leans forward and kisses him, hard, long, and absolutely filthy. "Suffer," he whispers against his boyfriend's lips.
Then he shuts the door in his face.

MASTERLIST
“Broke up?” Chan’s eyes refuse to blink. “You two broke up!?”
His confused filled stare shoots for the direction of his best friend, Minho, who quietly sits opposite him across the table. He looks slightly withdrawn or…off colour. It can’t have been the gruelling two hour lecture they finished before heading out to lunch. If it were that, Minho would be complaining his head off saying how boring it was or cursing himself for not changing his minor earlier.
He’s just not his usual self. In other social settings, he could talk until the cows came home. But the entire hour that they’ve spent together at lunch, Chan has been doing all the conversing and only receiving vague one-word answers. It wasn’t until he asked what was up with Minho that his friend dished out the news that he and his girlfriend - you, had split up.
“Why?” Chan proceeds, still swimming in shock.
A sigh leaves Minho’s mouth. He truly doesn’t feel like revisiting this subject. When he even thinks about the answer, all he can recall is the firey shouting match you both had the day things crumbled.
“It’s messy,” he replies with a cloudy and ambiguous answer.
“If you talk about it, then it might help you make sense of it all.”
He groans this time, “I really, really don’t want to do that. What’s done is done.”
“Done?” Chan questions, still not letting up on an interrogation. “You were in a relationship with Y/N, for years. You guys talked about a whole future together. That’s not something you just sweep under the rug and forget about.”
If there’s one thing he almost did forget about, it’s that you were friends with him - not just Chan, but the seven others as well. After all, it was Minho who introduced you to those select people whom he calls his brothers. They would’ve found out eventually if Minho refrained from telling them who you were dating all those years ago.
Though naturally, you became very close with them.
“We’ve both chosen to do that so there’s nothing really much left to dispute.”
Chan’s eyebrows furrow, realising he left out a crucial question to the situation, “why did you guys break up in the first place?”
Minho feels like he’s going to run out of sighs, “she doesn’t love me anymore and I don’t love her anymore. That’s literally all there is to it.”
“You’re telling me you both fell out of love - at the same time,” Chan responds, still having a difficult time trying to comprehend his friend's situation.
“Pretty much,” Minho confirms with a nod.
Chan finds that extremely hard to believe from his friend - the very person who would enter a different realm whenever he was in a five centimetre radius of you. His eyes would glaze over as if he were possessed; always fixated on you, he’d smile more than he usually would, and was comfortable in the space around you.
There had to be another reason, surely.
But it had almost been three weeks since Chan dissected the news out of Minho, and it was almost like pulling teeth trying to dive for the details. Each attempt was as fruitless as the next and in the end, Chan just plucked the same answers.
Regardless, it seemed to play out better than expected. Minho saved himself from having to dish out explanations as to why you wouldn’t be around anymore. As a result, telling Chan was the best option and since the others didn’t know, Minho was okay with him telling them so that he didn’t have to.
In saying that, Minho left out very central details of what happened leading up to the breakup. He never mentioned the constant fighting, the lying, the false accusations, the shouting matches, up until the point where you were both swimming in the toxicity the pair of you created.
He also absconded from the fact to Chan that not only did you both separate, but you’ve also both come to view the other differently and not through a good lens. Minho shouted it in your face the other day to which you did the same; “I hate you.” And that was that.
But his friends probably didn’t need to know all of that.
Since that day, you’ve been in the process of trying to find an apartment for yourself which isn’t easy. You want to remain in town and not too far out so that you don’t have a long commute to work, and at the same time, you don't want to break the bank trying to find a nice place to rent in the city. All in all, it was tough, but you were ready to just leave.
Having packed up the majority of your stuff in boxes, all you had to do was wait for landlords to contact you back about possible vacant apartments. Thankfully Minho was lenient in allowing you to stay until you found a place.
You slept in the spare room, mainly keeping to yourself and the boxes of things surrounding the space. Occasionally you would have to lock yourself in there and throw on some noise-cancelling headphones whenever Minho brought around another woman to sleep with.
It was his house, you knew that and now that you have no ties to him and he’s letting you stay, it was never your place to question his actions.
Still, that could never lessen the hurt. It was painful which is why you hated him so much. You don’t know how a person could move on so quickly after so many years of being told how much you’re loved. It was like he never meant it. With that being said, when you eventually managed to find a decent place, you were free from Minho.
All of your items were ready to be moved out, taking a couple of days to actually get them to your new place. In the tiring process, you also had to factor in your work schedule which meant it would take longer to continue moving your stuff. Nonetheless, you had the majority of your boxes out of Minho's house with only a few remaining that you needed to swing by and pick up.
"Something wrong?" he wears a blank look on his face when you arrive on the doorstep to his house.
"Some of my stuff is still here, can I come in to grab it please?" You ask politely. He gives a silent answer in return by opening his door wider for you to walk in before he goes back to whatever it was he was doing.
You make your way into the spare room where the last of your things remain, but there is one odd detail you notice as you approach the items. What was supposed to be taped down lids to the boxes had in fact been opened; not in the state you had originally left it in.
"Minho," you call out, hoping he heard you.
Sure enough, he did. Minho walks into the spare room with a puzzled expression, wondering why he's been summoned, "what?"
“Why are these open?” You ask, lifting one box off of the other to check if the rest were open as well. “Half of my stuff isn’t in here.”
“You were coming back for those?” he replies with a question.
“What the hell else would I be coming back here for?”
“That's what I thought when you got here,” he says. “I thought it was for other things that you left behind, not ones in these boxes."
Your eyes never leave his face, tracking any sudden shifts in his muscles to try to figure out if he’s actually telling the truth or not. Even though you and Minho aren’t together, you're sure he wouldn't do anything malicious out of spite.
“So why is half my stuff missing?”
Minho pinches the bridge of his nose, “I thought you didn’t need any of it and that you left it here on purpose for me to deal with or throw out.”
“So what…” you trail off, expecting his answer. Minho hesitates for a few moments, sitting on the fence about whether he should actually tell you or not. But the least he can do right now is be honest.
“I told the…girl I bought around the other day that if she wanted anything-“
“No you fucking didn’t.”
“-she could have whatever was left in the boxes,” Minho finishes the rest of his sentence which would’ve been better for you not to hear.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?”
“What the fuck is wrong with me? What the fuck is wrong with you for leaving them behind in the first place!” Minho argues back, trying to defend himself here even though he knows he’s in the wrong. “You were gone for a few days Y/N, I thought you just left!”
“I never left them behind! I told you how long it was going to take my things to move!” You shout at him, tears brimming your eyes. “Now my stuff…”
The hurt genuinely sets in. Minho feels a sharp stab of pain in his chest when he sees how visibly upset you are. He knows that he’s been nothing short of a dickhead within the past month and now he’s gone and made things worse. It’s no point in him now to say that it was an honest mistake.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know, truly.”
You shove him backwards into the dresser, knocking down some of the empty photo frames that were once homes for pictures of you and Minho, “you’re not sorry. You’re the fucking worst.”
Taken aback by your actions, Minho turns behind him to see the frames flat on the surface then looks back at you, “seriously Y/N, I would not have done that out of spite.”
“But it’s the fact that you still did it!” You raise your voice at him and shove him back again. “You didn’t bother calling or texting me about it when you should’ve!”
Minho predicts your next move and catches your arms to stop you from pushing him back impossibly further into the dresser. He shoves you back, the back of your knees hitting the edge of the bed which causes you to land on it behind you.
Before the surprise kicks in, Minho is kneeling on top of you, nearly straddling your lower half as he starts pinning your arms to the side of your head. Yet with a split second of momentum to break free, you struggle but manage to flip the tables and pin Minho on his back.
You mount his hips before your mouth comes down to kiss Minho so aggressively that it takes him a moment to react. With any other woman that he’s slept with so far, he would allow them to be on top. But because it’s you, and supposedly hates your guts, not to mention his untapped pride, it’s not going to happen. So Minho fights back, kissing and biting nearly every part of your upper body in the process until you’re under him.
He sucks large, deep, red hickies into the skin of your neck, in places where everyone would be able to see them. Minho would want people to know that you’re just a whore he uses. Especially for the next guy you sleep with who would go down on you and see the myriad of hickies that Minho would eventually put between your thighs when he rips your pants down.
“Wanna play this fucking game with me,” he rasps before yanking down your off.
Despite being a dickhead Minho will still eat you out for prep. But it’s not soft and teasing when he does go down on you. It’s tongue and finger fucking you until you’re dizzy from how hard you’re about to cum. It gives you the opportunity to pull and tug on his hair until his scalp starts burning, forcing you to be as vocal as you’ve ever been.
His fingers curl up into that sensitive spot while his tongue and mouth work simultaneously. He’s always been good at giving head, but unusually better now that he’s relatively angry. In the back of your mind, you supposed it helped having not slept with anyone for a month, making it easier to reach that peak of delicious, eye-rolling ecstasy.
“Fuck!” you scream out, voice projecting throughout the room as Minho sucks on your clit. “Fuck you…you’re gonna make me cum.”
Those words are something Minho could never get tired of hearing you say. Even in the headspace that he’s in now, he wants nothing more than to hear how good he’s making your body feel. However, he doesn’t need verbal confirmation from you to know that you’re about to cum. When your walls seize and clamp around his fingers, when you’re trembling around his head, Minho knows what that means.
The quick drag of his fingers is only light work for him, pumping at a pace that has you panting to try and keep up with it. As a result, it’s not long before Minho brings you to your sweet release; a toe-curling burst of euphoria that has you silently creaming around his fingers.
He has no patience for you to descend from your orgasm, sucking his fingers clean as he pulls away from your pussy. He gets to unbuckling his belt faster than he can even comprehend that this is still happening.
“H-Hurry,” you whine, trying to quell the hunger for Minho’s cock while you wait.
His eyes squeeze shut, hissing as he coats his length with your slick, “shut the fuck up.”
Despite being in a haze post-orgasm, you manage to sit up quickly to turn and push Minho down by his shoulders. You find yourself straddling his hips once more, reaching down and behind for his cock, aligning it with your hole. Minho allows you to work for it yourself, watching his cock vanish by the second as you sink down.
“Mmm…f-fuck,,” you whine, unable to come to grips with how much you miss him filling you out.
Taking a couple of slow strokes up and down allows you to realise that never in your wildest dreams could you ever imagine hate sex with Minho would be this…rough. Both of you pushing, shoving, and manhandling each other around, speaking to each other with such disregard for the other person's feelings – beyond the point of degradation.
“Come on,” Minho grunts, fingernails embedding themselves into your hips so that the indents remaining become as equally as vibrant as the hickies blooming on your neck.
You look down at him with disgust before your hand lowers to his throat, choking him out by the sides of his neck. That familiar feeling of restriction to Minho forces him to repress his sick enjoyment of it, even more so when you start really riding him.
“Fuck you,” you strain out, trying to assert some degree of control even though you’re battling with oversensitivity from your previous orgasm.
You slam your hips down repeatedly, building up a good pace and rhythm that’s enough for small moans to force their way out of your mouth. With a cock like Minho’s, it’s impossible to keep quiet no matter how much you try. However, as you work for your own orgasm, you don’t want to give him any satisfaction by making him think that he’s the one doing it; yet in reality, he is.
Nonetheless, you continue to use him just as much as he’s using you until the luxury of pleasure accelerates in the pit of your stomach. In saying that, it doesn’t take long for Minho to find that information out as you continue to ride him. The observation is clear-cut;
“Nobody’s fucked you since me haven’t they?” He asks you breathlessly, watching you roll your hips deliciously over his cock. “Know how I can tell? Because you keep fucking clenching around my dick.”
Your eyebrows furrow, struggling to find an answer for him because he is right and that’s not your fault, “s-so what? Want me to stop?”
“Didn’t say that, did I?” He argues back, too proud to say ‘no’. “Just…just keep moving.”
A firm hand of yours catches his taut jaw, and while his mouth is open, you lean down and spit right in it.
You curse right at him, “fuck you.”
His eyes lock with yours and for a moment, Minho is shocked, but not in a bad way. In that moment you despised him so much that he made you do something a normal person would find disgusting. Although it’s not long before a sick smirk spreads across his face, failing to pretend as if he didn’t just enjoy that, swallowing it back.
“Course you’d be into that you fucking whore,” he rasps, his body jolting every time your hips slam down.
“I’m not the whore who’s taking it,” you snipe back at him.
Your comment riles Minho, resulting in him nearly bucking you off his body before flipping you onto your stomach. He yanks both of your hands behind your back as something for him to latch onto when he pushes his cock back into you, and starts fucking hard and fast.
“Yes, yes, yes, fuck…” you whimper, eyes fluttering shut.
The new angle makes his dick slip in just that extra bit deeper, achieving a sensation which you miss all too much. With the amount of relentlessness that Minho puts behind his thrusts is nothing but a fast, brutal, and unforgiving type of fucking. He’s not holding back with you, no matter how much you hate him and he hates you, he will fuck you to tears.
“Such a fucking slut,” he drives forward nastily. “Needy, loud, slut.”
Your choked moans and whimpers are typical responses to hearing him call you that name again. In bed, if you weren’t his lover, you were his slut. Minho wouldn’t care less if the bed broke beneath him trying to fuck you like the whore you always wanted him to treat you as. But it was phenomenal.
Now, that’s only a distant memory clawing to come back.
“Make me cum…make me fucking cum,” you demand, acknowledging how close you are to the cliff of ecstasy.
Minho's breathing picks up from hearing the pure desperation in your voice, and so does his pace. His only release is not but a minute away, respecting that and also his motive to continue rearranging your guts.
Yet the possibility of keeping up any longer draws to a short term. Minho’s hold on your wrists behind your back becomes a solid death grip with no chance of escape until the wet heat from your pussy has his hips jumping out of rhythm.
His head tilts to the sky, the pleasure screaming at him from the base of his cock, “y-yes, fuck I'm cumming.”
At that very instant, Minho’s release rocks him over. His hands let go of yours in lieu of grabbing onto your ass instead. The pain and sting of his fingernails scraping deep into your flash forces strained whimpers and mewls from your throat, helping to push you over the verge of your second orgasm.
“Y-Yes, cumming, oh fuck-” you cry out with a shaky voice, stiffening while your hole seizes rhythmically around Minho’s length.
The pleasure is throat-gripping, making you forget the words to express how good you feel. Except, in the vapour of your orgasmic haze, you still don't want to accept the fact that it's Minho who makes you feel that way.
He pauses for a moment then thrusts hard back into you, making you keep the warm load that you were so undeservingly given, regardless if your walls are spasming and contracting it out. Then just as he was fast to try to get inside you, he's just as fast when he pulls out and flops beside you.
The air in the room becomes breathable again now that your heart rate isn't racing to the heavens, but picks back up quickly when you decide to hop off the bed and get dressed. You couldn't care less if you were sore and unbalanced. The thought of staying in the room with Minho any longer was suffocating.
“About your stuff,” he starts, filling the silent void with an exasperated voice. “I’ll try to get it back.”
You zip your jeans up, “don’t bother. I know you did give it away for whatever reason, but for what reason is something I’m betting you’ll take to the grave with you.”
Minho is up and now following suit by putting his clothes on. If now is the time to get one thing off of his chest, it’s now. Since the day you both separated, there has been no proper conversation. Both of you are too stubborn to admit wrongs and fix rights, but in your eyes, it's too far gone. There’s no going back to a good thing that was once more.
"I won't if we can just talk it out," he offers the opportunity to you.
“Minho, the nights that I had to listen to you fuck someone else in the next room right after we just broke up was a clear sign that we did not need to talk it out. All it made me do is realise that you didn't actually love me."
“That’s not true,” he shakes his head as you hear a twinge of desperation in his voice like he's pleading his case. "That's not true at all."
"It is though," you correct him. "You were free to sleep with whoever you wanted to because we had broken up at that point, but not a day after that did you wait."
Minho follows through with his explanation, “I was trying to get you out of my head. Spending too long just thinking about you makes me want to lose it. It didn't mean that I never loved you before."
“So you’re just going to continue being delusional? To fuck your way through trying to forget me?” You question, nearly laughing. "I honestly think you're just being pathetic."
He shrugs, “if it means that I don’t have to feel heartbreak, then yes.”
Part of you gets it. Minho’s found a vice and is using it as a tool to deal with his pain. But you’re in pain too, and you haven’t done anything to upset him ever since you split. Maybe it is as bad for him as he says it is. Maybe he doesn’t truly know how to navigate himself out of this like you’re attempting to.
It’s almost a rebuttal to your statement about whether he truly loved you or not; if he’s using other people to drive the thought of you out of his brain because it’s too painful to deal with, then maybe you were more than just a lover to him.
"I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I cannot stand being around you anymore because of how much it hurts to know that you're not actually with me. I'd rather try to forget your existence in order to not feel that type of heartbreak," Minho explains, his words coming from a place inside him that must've just opened up.
But he continues, "the second we split, I needed every last memory of you out of this house. But I know that this hurts you too and that this past month I’ve hurt you and that’s no justification to say that my reason is because you mean more than my entire life.”
There’s an ache in your chest that you’ve never felt before, a blend of all the emotional pain that could’ve been prevented had the two of you just talked. But that ache is fuelled by the fact that you can hear the waiver in Minho’s voice, and even though his back is still turned to you while he sits on the edge of the bed, you’re sure he’s crying.

A/N: Dare I say that I want to make a part 2 to this where Minho and reader try to rekindle, things are pretty tender but they sort of want to make it work...

I love the way you write! Do you ever take requests? If so, could you do something where Tyler and Female Reader are dating and they have a big fight before he goes on a chase. She either says she doesn't love him or doesn't want him to come back or something like that. He leaves heartbroken and then is in a bad accident or maybe he's badly hurt and missing? Lots of regreat for things said or not? Whatever you can come up with like that, as long as they remain together at the end! Thank you!
A/N: I have never done requests before and I hope I have done this right. Thank you so much for the request, I really loved the idea so I gave it my best shot. I hope you love it. This will be at least a two part story. I'll post the second part as soon as I get it done.
Unspoken Words
Tumblr media
Warnings: Mention of sex, unplanned pregnancy, car accident, injury, lots of angst, maybe a few swear words
Part 1
Tyler Owens watched the weather forecast and double checked his own data with a worried look. “They're calling for storms tomorrow.” he called, “From my data it looks to be a big outbreak about an hour or so from here.”
“Remember I told you that I was making special plans for tomorrow?” you reminded him.
“Huh?” he frowned, “Oh yeah. You did tell me that last week, didn't you. Sorry, Darling. I forgot. Can we just reschedule or something?”
You felt tears stinging your eyes. “You always fucking do this, Tyler.” you slammed a plate down in the sink. “Just forget it. You wouldn't care anyhow.”
“Darling...why are you so upset?” he stood with concern on his face. Sure, you got mad sometimes. He hurt your feelings sometimes, but you normally didn't get this upset this fast. “I just suggested that we could change whatever plans you had tomorrow night to another night...a night that's not a major tornado outbreak.”
“Tomorrow night was something special to me Tyler...but you don't give a damn. What am I, just something fun to do on the side?” tears were streaming down your face now as you yell at him, “You never really loved me at all, did you?”
“Y/N! Darling!” Tyler went towards you, his face showing the heartbreak he felt. You push him away as he reached out to you and run into the bedroom, slamming the door and locking it.
“Honey...please don't do this. You know my job. You know I gotta be there for a big tornado outbreak...”
“Just go!” you seethed.
“I don't have to leave until tomorrow morning.” Tyler said softly. “I can make it up to you tonight. When I get back we can do your special night.”
“Don't even act like you care now. Just leave. The team, the tornadoes, everything is more important then I am. When was the last time you took me on a date, Tyler?” You yelled.
He started to answer and tears filled his eyes as he realized he couldn't remember the last time you two had actually been on a date.
“That's what I thought.” you seethed. “Now tell me how many times you have canceled our plans because of tornadoes or the team needed you. Some bullshit other then me. You don't care that I need you. You push me aside to do whatever else you want, then come home and think having sex makes up for it all. Well I am done Tyler. I am done with it all. I am done with you. You don't want me? That's fine. I don't want you anymore either, so just get the fuck out!” you sobbed.
He leaned against the door, wanting nothing more then hold you in his arms and tell you how much he loved you, how special you were to him, that you were his whole world. Tyler and you had been dating for about three years and just moved in with each other this year. You were used to him going chasing storms, sometimes at the last minute and sometimes for weeks at a time. However, you had some big news to share with him and you had put a lot of time and effort into a special meal tomorrow. It just seemed like Tyler could care less about your feelings and right now, it was tearing you apart.
“I am sorry, Y/N.” was all he was able to whisper though his tears. He prayed this wasn't the end of his relationship with you. “I have something important to ask you. Can we talk before I leave? I was planning on talking to you about it tonight.” he whispered.
“I am done talking Tyler! I don't care what you have to say. Just leave. I don't care if you ever come back here or not.” you spat.
Tyler's heart shattered. You never talked to him like that, especially before he left on a chase. You both knew that storm chasing was dangerous and there was always that risk that he wouldn't come back.
He pulled a black box out of his pocket and stared at it and then at the door. “Y/N, please? Can we talk just for a minute before I leave.” he whispered. “You know I don't like leaving for a chase with us being upset.”
You didn't answer. “I love you.” he whispered.
“I doubt that.” you scoffed.
Tyler couldn't stop the tears from falling. He didn't know how he had hurt you so badly, but he knew he had messed up bad. You didn't even believed he loved you anymore. He eyed his overnight bag on the sofa that he had packed in case they got a hotel tomorrow. “You want me to leave?” he asked, his voice cracking with sobs.
“I can't stand to even look at you right now. Yes, leave.” you yell, curling up on the bed and sobbing.
“Alright. I am going to go crash at Boone's tonight. If you change your mind, call me. Darling, I really want to talk to you. I want to make this right.”
You didn't answer, so he picked up his bag and stood at the bedroom door. “I love you.” he called. It was a thing you two always did before he went on a chase. No matter what, you made sure the last words said to each other was “I love you.”
He waited, but you didn't answer. “Darling, I love you more then anything...”
“Drop the shit Tyler. You can't say you love me and never back it up with actions. Just get the hell out and don't worry about coming back. I doubt I'll be here if you do.”
Tyler's head dropped, his shoulders slumped as he shuffled to the door. Maybe he had messed up one too many times. Maybe this time, you really didn't love him anymore. He had failed you, he had failed to show you how much he loved you and now...he was scared to death that he had lost you.
He walked out the door, closing it tightly behind him and tossed the bag in the back of the truck. He took one last look at the house before driving off with sobs racking his body. He could only pray that you calmed down by the time he came home.

The Next Day
* * * * * * * *
“So, T...are you crashing at my place today or has Y/N forgiven you?” Boone asked while they were stationed at a gas station, waiting to see which way the storms were going.
“I don't know.” Tyler snapped.
“Didn't you call her?” Boone asked.
“No. Not yet.” he was still mad and hurt about how things happened yesterday. “I just don't get what was so damn special today!”
“I don't know, man. Women can be impossible to understand.”
“Is that why you don't have a girlfriend?” Tyler quipped.
“Well at least I am not getting kicked out of my own house!”
“It's her house too.” Tyler sighed, looking at his phone for the hundredth time that morning, hoping you were going to call him.
“Make the first move man. Call her.” Boone said. “Even if she's still is pissed and hangs up on you or doesn't answer...call her.”
“Fine.” Tyler picks up the phone and calls your cell waiting for you to answer until it goes to voice mail.
“Hey Darling. I am really sorry about how things went yesterday. Call me back. I love you.” he tossed the phone down to the floor of the truck, “Some good that did.”
“Oh shit...oh shit no.” Boone looked at the radar.
“What is it?” Tyler looked over and his heart dropped. A large storm cell was forming just outside of the city you lived in. The weather reports weren't calling for anything bad, but Tyler knew by the looks of it. The tornado outbreak wasn't going to happen here...it was going to happen right over his town, his house...where you were.
“Give me the damn phone! Boone, go ride with Lily.” Tyler barked. “We aren't chasing this one, but I am going to drive like a bat at of hell and try to get home before it hits. I don't want Y/N there alone. She may not even know what's coming.”
“We'll head that way and meet you at your house.” Boone retrieved Tyler's phone from the floor of the truck and hurried to Lily's van. Tyler's truck could drive much faster then the RV or Van and was the only hope of reaching you on time.
Tyler swore when his call went straight to your voice mail again, “Darling listen to me. A tornado outbreak is heading your way. It could be bad. It's not being reported yet by the weather stations. I am on my way home. I am on my way, baby. Get to the basement and wait for me there. I love you.”
He threw his phone down in the passengers seat and put the pedal to the metal speeding toward home. He was about half an hour away, the storm looked to be about 15 minutes away. If he was quick enough, maybe, just maybe he could beat it.
* * * * *
You glanced at the phone as it dinged, alerting you to yet another voicemail. It was Tyler again and you didn't care to answer and you didn't care to listen to the voicemail. Right now you didn't want to hear anything that he had to say.
You heart was breaking over how things ended last night. For the first time that you could remember since being together, you didn't tell him you loved him before he left and that kept nagging at the back of your mind. What if something happened. Did he know that you loved him? At the same time, you were still hurt that he never put your needs first. It was nothing to him to cancel plans if it meant chasing another storm. You were still mad and weren't ready to make up yet.
Tears start brimming in your eyes. Why did you get so upset last night? Did it really matter if you had your special dinner tonight or tomorrow or next week? You look at the piece of paper now laying on the counter. You wanted it to be special. You wanted to tell Tyler Owens on Father's Day that he was about to become a father. You still felt terrible for the way you acted. The only thing you could guess was hormones were at work.
You grab your phone and call Tyler. You had to apologize and you had to make sure you said those three little words...”I love you.”
You sigh when it went straight to voicemail. “Tyler...I am sorry for last night. I am so terribly sorry. We need to talk, it's something amazing...at least I hope it is. We will talk when you get home. I love you, Tyler. Always and Forever, I love you.”
* * * * *
Tyler was pushing 110 and was only about five minutes away. The storm was probably about 4 minutes away but he was determined to get to Y/N no matter what. The ringing of his phone pulled his attention away from the road. He normally wouldn't look at the phone while driving, but..it could have been you. He saw your name and picture on the phone and leaned over to try to grab it.
Suddenly, the truck swerved and he grabbed the wheel, over correcting. Tires squealed as Tyler fought with the steering wheel. The alert was blaring on his phone now, warning him of the tornado that was approaching his house. He wasn't going to make it in time. 'Please be in a safe place, Y/N.' he whispered. The truck skidded off the road, the tires catching in the wet grass and it flipped, end over end, rolling down a steep embankment. Tyler curses under his breath, forgetting to put on the harness...his seat belt was barley keeping him in the seat. Pain shot though his body and he couldn't tell where it was coming from anymore. Glass shattered as the truck slammed against a tree, landing upside down. “I love you..” he whispered just before his body went limp.
* * * * *
You heard the sirens blaring, your phone alerting you, and you heard the roaring winds outside. You ran down the stairs into the basement, all the time thinking of Tyler. Did he know the tornado was here? He could have stayed home with you and seen a tornado, he didn't have to chase. You wondered if he knew that and choose to leave just to get away from you. After how you treated him, you didn't blame him.
“Hang on little one.” you whisper, putting a hand on you stomach. “This is your first tornado. We'll be okay.” a tear rolled down you cheek, wishing Tyler was there, his protective arms around you.

Sugar Mommy! Yelena Headcannons
I'm not 100% if this is head cannons or just ideas/a little intro to her but I hope you enjoy anyways haha!
18+ ONLY! Men & Minors, DNI!!
After a tough break up, she felt lonely and missed having somebody to spoil and make happy so her friends (mostly Kate) suggested maybe she could become a sugar mommy.
At first, she hated the idea and brushed it off but after a long day at the office (she's also a CEO ofc) and a few shots of vodka, she downloaded one of the apps Kate suggested and signed up.
She wasn't looking for anything, she was more intrigue about the app and those on the app.
Most people she came across seemed to all post the same type of photos which didn't interest her.
Then she came across your profile. Your bio made more interested in you a person. You mentioned you were looking to make some extra money for your film studies course at college. Your photos weren't showing off your body in the ways she'd already seen from others on the app, she thought you were different and that sold her.
She sent you a message, she explained this was her first time on the app and wasn't exactly sure how the arrangement would work but she wanted to help you pay for your studies.
You've had offers come in before, some sexual but you only took offers when somebody just wanted company or somebody to go with them to a family event. You replied to Yelena's message and suggested maybe meeting for coffee so the two of you could go over what works best for the two of you.
During that coffee date, you both agreed to go slowly. Yelena seemed like she was seeking company more than anything which worked best for you.
As time went on, you and Yelena got more & more comfortable with one another, eventually you found yourself spending most of your time at her penthouse with her or waiting for her to get home while you studied. You liked making sure she had a cooked meal to come home too and a proper breakfast by morning.
While Yelena started trusting you more and becoming more confident within herself once again, she began to spoil you. She would buy you things that you needed for college, things that you would mention and forget about and would even buy you things you had saved on your phone.
Eventually she would start calling you pet names here and there, at first you thought you wouldn't like it but maybe it was because they were in Russian or whenever she called you a pet name in English, her accent made it sound 10x better.
One afternoon, Yelena came home early and called you to come to her penthouse because she needed your help with something. When you got there, her bedroom was a mess. She was looking for a new outfit for a meeting she had for the next day, a very important meeting and nothing she tried on seemed to work for her so you decide to turn the tables for once and went out and brought her a new suit with your own money.
She was shocked at the gesture, but she'd never had somebody buy her something before. Her ex was all about making sure Yelena brought her everything and barely cared for the CEO.
After Yelena's meeting went successful, she wanted to thank you for the suit. It was the first time you guys slept together.
----
There's a legal age gap between you and Yelena. (Yelena, 32, You, 24). Yes, you're late to the college game, shh
Yelena grows very possessive over you and extremely protective.
Your arrangement with her continued well after you had made enough money to pay for your studies. Although it changed dramatically.
You made Yelena promise to never send you money or buy you gifts after sex. You didn't want her to feel like she had to pay you to sleep with her, you wanted to sleep with her & you also didn't want to feel like a prostitute.
Sex with her started off soft until you actually introduced to different kinks and what no.
She likes being in control but also loves that you can be a power bottom.
Yelena grew a new hobby, buying you new sets of lingerie and you LOVED showing them off to her.
Eventually you removed yourself from the app and Yelena never touched it after you and her came to an arrangement.
Tumblr media
If you guys have anything to add to this, please don hesitate to share!! I love hearing ya'll head cannons hehe!

--------------------------------------------------------
365 days a year, sometimes even 366 days…you can say it's a lot.
Of all the days in the year, you chose your favorite. Some people like to choose Christmas or Halloween, while others prefer to be original and choose the day when the cherry trees blossom or the first snow falls. But you preferred to keep it classic, a day that might be banal for some, or cliché for others because your favorite day of all was your birthday.
What made this day so magical for you was the fact that you had the chance to share this date, so exceptional in your eyes, with your best friend Sunghoon. And that's why you became friends.
Sunghoon had come into your life at elementary school, arriving in the middle of the year and looking very shy. You remembered his arrival so well because he came to class on your so-called birthday, your 7th to be exact. On that day, your mother had baked your favorite cake, so you could share it with your classmates and blow out your candles, knowing that this day was so special to you.
When the cake arrived, you noticed the sparkle in the new kids's chocolate orbs. Curious to know if he shared your taste in pastries, you asked him if he was looking forward to tasting it. "Do you like strawberry shortcake cake too? They are my favorite!", the boy who seemed so silent didn't answer at the time and just looked at you. Surprised by his reaction, you tilted your head to one side and wondered why he didn't answer.
Ignoring the boy's attitude, you took his hand in yours and led him to the cake. “You can blow out my candles with me if you like!”, at the sound of such a friendly proposal, an expression you couldn't quite determine formed on Sunghoon's face, and his cheeks took on a crimson hue.
Not understanding his reaction once again, you thought he didn't want to. “Oh, you don't like birthdays?”. The young brunet lifted his head and shook it vigorously, at which point he answered in an almost inaudible voice, “No, no...I like birthdays. Today's my birthday too…”.
Hearing such a statement, you couldn't help but jump up and down with joy at the idea of sharing such a precious moment with your new friend. Sunghoon, on the other hand, couldn't help hiding his face, rather embarrassed by so much attention suddenly focused on him. Seeing him so shy and embarrassed, you took his hand so that he could be at your side. “Let's both make a wish and blow out our candles, okay?”. You offered him a smile that revealed the tooth you'd lost last week and closed your eyes before making your wish. While the boy's wish remained unknown, you wished that from now on you'd be able to spend every one of your birthdays by his side... a day so precious to you
From that moment on, you and Sunghoon became inseparable. Birthdays became a shared celebration, a tradition that solidified your bond year after year. But as you grew older, things began to change. The simplicity of childhood was replaced by the complexities of adolescence, and the once-easy friendship began to face challenges neither of you could have anticipated.
High school brought about a shift in your dynamic with Sunghoon. New friends, different interests, and the inevitable misunderstandings began to drive a wedge between you two. It was subtle at first, a missed text here, a skipped hangout there. But over time, the cracks widened until a full-blown argument erupted on the day of your joint 16th birthday.
It had been brewing for a while, the tension palpable. Sunghoon had become more withdrawn, focusing on his new friends, sports, and studies. The clash came over something trivial—an unfortunate event that happened during your birthday celebration.
At the long-awaited moment of blowing out your 16 candles, after wishing that things could work out between you and your best friend, Sunghoon had the wonderful idea of pushing your head into your birthday cake...in front of all the people who were invited. And what a shock it was to see one of his new friends named Jake laughing, holding up his phone to film the scene. “ Well done man! You nailed your bet, I didn't think you would!”.
After that, voices were raised, harsh words exchanged, and for the first time, you found yourself dreading your birthday. What a stupid birthday…
Years passed, and the distance between you and Sunghoon grew. From friends to enemies, it seemed. The shared birthday, once a symbol of your bond, now felt like a cruel reminder of what you had lost. Both of you were too stubborn to reach out, too hurt to mend the rift. So you ended your high school days this way.
College was supposed to be your fresh start, a new chapter free from the tangled mess of your high school drama. You had looked forward to it for years, dreaming of new experiences, new friendships, and the chance to redefine yourself away from the shadow of old wounds and betrayals.
The campus was everything you had hoped for—bustling with life, offering endless growth opportunities, and filled with the promise of adventure. But as fate would have it, the one person you wanted to leave behind, Sunghoon, was also here. Seeing him across the quad that first week sent a chill down your spine. Memories of your 16th birthday, the argument, and the subsequent Cold War came rushing back, tainting what should have been an exciting new beginning.
When your mutual friends first proposed the joint birthday party, you couldn't believe your ears. "It'll be just like old times," Sunoo said, completely unaware of the emotional landmine they had stepped on. Your heart sank. The idea of celebrating your birthday with Sunghoon felt like opening an old wound. The 16th birthday incident left a scar, a painful reminder of how someone you once trusted implicitly could hurt you so deeply.
Despite your protests, your friends were relentless. They saw the good memories, the fun, and the laughter from your shared celebrations. They remembered the duo that was inseparable and believed that one party could bridge the gap. To them, it seemed like a simple solution to rekindle a cherished tradition.
"Come on, it's just one night," Minji, your closest friend, pleaded. "You both deserve to have fun. It’ll be great, just like before."
You shook your head, frustration bubbling to the surface. "It's not that simple, Minji. There’s a lot you don’t understand."
Minji sighed, her expression softening. "I get that you two had a falling out, but it was so long ago. People change, y/n. Maybe Sunghoon isn’t the same person who did that...stupid thing."
"It's not just about the cake," you snapped, then took a deep breath to calm yourself. "It's everything that happened afterward. He just...he wasn't there for me. We were supposed to be best friends, and he let me down."
Jungwon, another friend who was also part of your mutual circle, chimed in. "Y/n, we're not asking you to be best friends again overnight. Just give it a chance.”
You looked at them, feeling the weight of their words but also the burden of your memories. "I don't know if I can handle it," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper. "What if things get worse?"
Minji put a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "We've all seen how happy you two were back then. We just want to see you both happy again, even if it's just for one night. Can you try, for us?"
You hesitated, the memories of the laughter and joy you once shared with Sunghoon conflicting with the bitterness of your last encounter. The sincerity in your friends' eyes made it hard to refuse outright.
"Okay," you finally said, the word feeling heavy on your tongue. "I'll do it. But if things go south, I’m leaving. I can’t relive that nightmare."
Sunoo's face lit up with relief. "Thank you, y/n. We promise it’ll be worth it."
Jungwon grinned, giving you a thumbs up. "You won't regret it. We'll make sure it's an awesome party."
The first meeting to discuss party details was an exercise in tension. Sunghoon, once your shy and endearing best friend, now exuded an air of arrogance that made your blood boil. He walked into your living room with a confident swagger, greeting everyone casually, as if the years of animosity between you two didn’t exist.
"So, what's the plan?" Sunghoon asked, locking eyes with you for a moment. His gaze was steady, but you could see a flicker of something—regret, nostalgia?—before it vanished.
You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms. "We need to decide on the venue, decorations, food, and the guest list," you replied, your tone clipped.
"Great, I was thinking we should go big," Sunghoon said, leaning back in his chair. "A large venue, lots of music, and a huge guest list. It’s our 21st birthday after all."
You scoffed, shaking your head. "Of course, you'd want that. I was thinking of something more intimate. Close friends, good food, a relaxed atmosphere."
Sunghoon smirked, his eyes challenging. "A small gathering? That’s boring, y/n. People want to have fun."
"Fun doesn't mean a circus," you shot back, your irritation evident.
Jake, sensing the rising tension, intervened. "Hey, why not meet in the middle? We can have a decent-sized venue but keep the guest list reasonable. And mix up the music so there’s something for everyone."
You and Sunghoon exchanged a reluctant glance, and to your surprise, he nodded. "Fine. That works for me."
You sighed, feeling a bit of the tension ease. "Okay. But I’m in charge of the decorations."
Sunghoon chuckled. "Deal. As long as I get to handle the music."
The rest of the meeting was a series of compromises. Despite the occasional bickering, you managed to make some progress. However, the tension from years of unresolved issues loomed over every decision, making even the simplest tasks feel burdensome.
One afternoon, after another heated argument over the party's theme, you found yourself alone in the library, trying to finalize the details. Memories of happier times with Sunghoon flooded your mind—his shy smile, the way he used to get excited about your shared birthdays, and the countless hours spent talking about everything and nothing.
You were lost in thought when Sunghoon walked in and sat across from you. "Look, I know we have our differences, but we need to make this work. For our friends," he said, his voice surprisingly sincere.
You sighed, nodding. "Yeah, you're right. Let’s just focus on making this a good party."
Sunghoon looked relieved, and for a moment, you saw a glimmer of the boy you once knew. "I remember how much you loved those fairy lights. Maybe we can use them for the decorations?"
You were taken aback by his suggestion. "You remember that?"
"Of course I do," he replied softly. "Those birthdays meant a lot to me too."
In the days that followed, you fell into an uneasy rhythm. Despite the bickering, there were moments when the old Sunghoon resurfaced. One morning, he brought you your favorite coffee, remembering your order perfectly.
"Here," he said, handing you the cup. "I figured you could use a break."
You took it, surprised. "Thanks."
Another time, he helped you with particularly tricky decorations. As you struggled with a set of lights, he appeared beside you, effortlessly untangling them.
"Let me help," he said, his voice gentle. "You always hated doing this alone."
These small gestures made you wonder if there was still something worth salvaging between you two. Could it be that beneath the layers of hurt and pride, the bond you once shared was still there, waiting to be rekindled?
Just as you began to hope for reconciliation, everything came crashing down. Walking past the student lounge one afternoon, you overheard Sunghoon talking to Jake. Their voices were casual, filled with the easy camaraderie of old friends, but what you heard made your blood run cold.
"Yeah, she's still unbearable," Sunghoon was saying. "I don't regret pushing her head into the cake at all. Honestly, I'd do it again in a heartbeat."
The words felt like a dagger to your heart. Any progress you thought you’d made, any hope for a rekindled friendship, shattered in an instant. You turned and walked away, not wanting to hear another word. The small gestures, the moments where you thought the old Sunghoon was resurfacing, all felt like lies. The betrayal was raw and overwhelming, stirring up all the old hurt and anger you had tried so hard to move past.
That evening, you decided to confront Sunghoon. The emotions you had kept bottled up were boiling over, and you needed to let them out.
“Sunghoon, I overheard what you said to Jake,” you began, your voice trembling with suppressed anger.
Sunghoon looked up, confusion and worry flashing across his face. “Y/n, what are you talking about?”
“You said I’m unbearable and that you’d push my head into a cake again,” you replied, each word laced with the pain of your resurfaced wounds. “I thought we could maybe get past what happened, but clearly, you haven’t changed at all.”
Sunghoon’s face fell, and for a moment, he looked like the boy you once knew, the boy who had been your best friend. “It’s not like that,” he started, his voice soft and pleading.
“I don’t want to hear it,” you snapped, cutting him off. The anger in your voice masked the hurt you felt. “We’ll go through with this party for our friends, but after that, I don’t want anything to do with you.”
Sunghoon’s shoulders slumped, and he took a step towards you, desperation in his eyes. “Y/n, please. Let me explain. It was a stupid joke. I didn’t mean it.”
You shook your head, tears stinging your eyes. “A joke? You think that’s funny? Humiliating me, and then saying you’d do it again? That’s not a joke, Sunghoon. That’s just cruel.”
“I was trying to fit in with the guys,” Sunghoon said, his voice breaking. “I didn’t mean any of it. I’ve been an idiot, but I don’t want to lose you again.”
The sincerity in his voice made your heart ache, but the pain of his words was still too fresh. “You already lost me, Sunghoon,” you whispered. “A long time ago. And this just proves that you don’t care.”
Sunghoon reached out, but you stepped back, putting distance between you. “Y/n, please, don’t do this. We’ve come so far.”
You shook your head, feeling a mix of sadness and anger. “No, Sunghoon. You might think we’ve come far, but we’re right back where we started. I can’t keep doing this.”
With that, you turned and walked away, leaving Sunghoon standing there, looking lost and broken. The weight of your decision settled heavily on your shoulders, but you knew it was the right choice. You couldn’t keep reopening old wounds, hoping they’d heal. You needed to move forward, even if it meant leaving Sunghoon behind.
The rest of the preparations were a blur. You avoided Sunghoon as much as possible, communicating only when absolutely necessary. Every interaction was charged with tension, a constant reminder of the unresolved issues and the hurt still lingering between you. The memories of the overheard conversation haunted you, making it difficult to focus on anything else.
Despite the strained atmosphere, you channeled all your energy into making sure the party went off without a hitch. Your friends noticed the strain but chose to focus on the upcoming celebration, hoping the event would mend the rift.
The party was in full swing. Music blared, lights flashed, and people danced and laughed. You kept your distance from Sunghoon, mingling with friends and trying to enjoy yourself despite the heavy weight on your heart. The venue was beautifully decorated, with fairy lights casting a warm glow over the scene. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, but you couldn’t shake the hurt and betrayal lingering in your mind.
Minji caught you alone near the drinks table and pulled you aside. “Hey, how are you holding up?”
You forced a smile. “I’m fine. Just trying to get through the night.”
She gave you a sympathetic look. “I know things have been tough, but maybe tonight can be a fresh start?”
You sighed, looking over at Sunghoon who was laughing with some friends. “I don’t know, Minji. It’s hard to forget everything that happened.”
“I get it,” she said softly. “But I’ve seen how he looks at you. I think he genuinely wants to make things right.”
Before you could respond, someone called Minji away, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
As the night wore on, you found yourself on the balcony, staring out at the city lights. The cool night air did little to soothe your turmoil.
You heard footsteps behind you and turned to see Sunghoon approaching. He looked hesitant, his usual confidence replaced by a tentative vulnerability.
“Y/n..” he started, his voice soft. “Can we talk?”
You crossed your arms, trying to protect yourself from more hurt. “What is there to talk about, Sunghoon?”
He took a deep breath. “I’m sorry. I know I’ve been a jerk, and I know I hurt you. But you have to understand, Jake and I… we have a complicated relationship. I was just trying to impress him, but it was stupid, and I regret it.”
“Why should I believe you?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
Sunghoon sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Because,” he said, stepping closer, “I miss you. I miss us. And I know I’ve screwed up, but I want to make it right. Not just for tonight, but for good.”
You looked at him, searching his eyes for any hint of deceit. “You think just saying sorry will fix everything? You humiliated me, Sunghoon. You made me feel like I meant nothing to you.”
“I know,” he admitted, his eyes downcast. “I’ve been an idiot. I let Jake’s influence get to me, and I hurt the one person who mattered most. But I swear, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it up to you.”
“Why now?” you demanded, your voice rising. “Why should I trust you now?”
“Because I’ve realized how much I’ve lost,” he said, his voice trembling slightly. “And because I don’t want to lose you again. Not when we’ve been through so much. I know I don’t deserve it, but I’m asking for a chance to prove I’ve changed.”
Something in his voice, in his eyes, made you want to believe him. The sincerity, the vulnerability—it all felt genuine. And maybe, just maybe, you could find a way to forgive and start anew.
“Okay,” you said softly. “But this time, no more cake pushing.”
Sunghoon laughed, a genuine, warm laugh that made you feel like maybe, just maybe, things could be okay again. “Deal,” he said, offering his hand. “Let’s make a new wish together.”
As you shook his hand, you felt a spark of hope. You both walked back into the party, side by side, and your friends immediately noticed the change. Minji gave you an encouraging smile, and Jake looked pleasantly surprised. Their eyes seemed to convey a silent message of hope and reconciliation, urging you both to embrace this newfound chance at rebuilding your friendship.
Sunghoon led you to the table where the birthday cake sat, a beautifully decorated strawberry shortcake, just like the one from your childhood. The room quieted down as everyone gathered around, sensing the importance of the moment. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, a tangible sense of possibility lingering in the air.
Sunghoon turned to you, his eyes soft with sincerity. “Ready to make a wish?”
You nodded, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement coursing through you. “Ready.”
Together, you both closed your eyes, allowing the weight of the past to momentarily fade into the background. At this moment, there was only the promise of a fresh start, a chance to mend what had been broken between you.
“On three?” Sunghoon asked, his voice a gentle reassurance.
You nodded again, a small smile playing on your lips. “One, two, three.”
You both blew out the candles in unison, the room erupting in cheers and applause. For the first time in years, you felt that familiar warmth of the bond you once shared, slowly but surely being rekindled. The collective joy of the moment washed over you, melting away the layers of resentment and hurt that had accumulated over time.
The night continued with laughter and joy, the tension of the past giving way to the lightness of the present. You found yourself by Sunghoon's side more often than not, the ease of your interactions reminiscent of the friendship you had once cherished.
As the hours passed, you found yourself engaged in heartfelt conversations, sharing memories and dreams with Sunghoon as if no time had passed at all. The barriers that had once divided you seemed to dissolve in the warmth of companionship, leaving behind a renewed sense of connection and understanding.
At one point, amidst the laughter and chatter, Sunghoon leaned in close to you, his voice a whisper in the bustling room. “I’m glad we had this chance, Y/N. I’ve missed you.”
You met his gaze, the sincerity in his eyes echoing the sentiment in your own heart. “I’ve missed you too, Sunghoon. Let’s not lose this again.”
He smiled, a genuine expression of warmth and affection. “We won’t.”
At that moment, surrounded by the people you cared about most, you knew that this was more than just a party—it was a celebration of forgiveness, of second chances, and of the enduring bond between friends. As you looked around at the smiling faces and heard the echoes of laughter filling the air, you couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to rebuild what had once been lost.
And as the night drew to a close, and the last echoes of laughter faded into the night, you found yourselves standing alone in the quiet embrace of the moonlit balcony. The world seemed to hold its breath, anticipation hanging heavy in the air as you gazed into each other's eyes.
Without a word, Sunghoon reached out, his hand cupping your cheek with a tenderness that stole your breath away. And in that fleeting moment, with the stars as witness to your reunion, you leaned in, your lips meeting in a gentle kiss that spoke volumes of the love and forgiveness that had brought you back together.
Now, every day with Sunghoon, whether it’s 365 or 366, will be a reminder of the bond you share—a bond strong enough to weather any storm. As you melted into the warmth of his embrace, you couldn't help but reflect on the journey that had led you here, from the pain of this stupid birthday to the sweetness of this moment, where love and forgiveness triumphed over past hurts.

✧∘* ✧・゚bigger guys✧∘* ✧・゚
you meet me at the gym. maybe i caught your eye from the squat rack or maybe you watched as a downed a bottle of water during a break. it doesn't matter--we get to talking. eventually, you realize, i come to that gym everyday, and soon we get to exchanging numbers. i come across as this demure, young cardiobunny with a bit of an obsession for you, and maybe you're just looking to score.
it doesn't matter. i tell you that i like bigger guys. you ask me about my opinion of you, and i suggest that you could eat a few more calories. after all, it's bulking season. you don't really think that your 10% body fat is gonna maintain all the way to summer, do you? i suggest a mass gainer shake brand, and although you forget most of our conversation, on your way home, you couldn't help but stop by a grocery store and pick some up.
that's when i start asking you about it. i recommend, after our respective work-outs when we're downing out protein shakes, you take your mass gainer at the same time. it's efficiency, after all. you say you want to ease into it, but after meeting my eyes as the bottle touches your lips, something changes in you.
i go to the gym everyday, and when i see you enter, i ask about the shakes. you did bring some with you, right? you won't get any gains if you don't eat right after! didn't you know that? and that brand isn't even that good anyway. who told you to get that? let's head to your place after--i'll show you how to make a real shake.
that's when it becomes a daily routine--well, it started to, before your lethargy got to you. post-workout, i'd head over and whip up something special for you--gobs of peanut butter, mass gainer, heavy cream, protein powder, the works--all in the comfort of your own blender. you start to question if all of this is really necessary, but i did tell you big guys were better, and are you gonna tell me i'm wrong? look at you. don't get self-deprecating now. i like how much you've gained!
the daily work-out dates turn to me seeing you after, crashed out on the couch. you head to the gym a few times a week, but not as commonly as before. you've just been so tired lately, i get it. rest days are even more important for recovery, though. it's doctors' orders-you need more sleep, and you need more shakes. when you're not ordering DoorDash, i'm the one cooking for you. a shake goes with every meal--it's mandatory. and you love it. they taste good! why think so hard about it when i'm smiling when you do it?
in fact, going to the gym at all is just cutting down the muscle you already have, don't you know that? you need some time to regain mass. you might as well quit your job--it's so demanding, isn't it? i could support both of us easily, and why would i want you to risk burning more calories out and about? it'd be much easier for you to sit on the couch and regroup, watch some TV, watch some porn, and eat.
you quit your job, because it's sucked the soul out of you, honestly. you've moved in with me, because there's no reason to live separately when we spend all our time together. you can't go five minutes without one of my shakes or my meals, after all. you're honestly a real glutton now, if i'm being honest. whenever i return from my daily gym visit, i make sure to bring you plenty of take-out, or three pizzas, or a few Subway footlongs, just to make sure you're well-fed. you've added probably 100lbs of mass at this point. it'd be a shame for all that hard work to go to waste.
you barely move from the couch, and i think it's starting to get to you. your gym buddies are all wondering what happened, and you can barely get the strength to sit-up by yourself, but that mental turmoil seems to dissipate when you're eating. it just tastes too good, doesn't it, baby? you're so full, but you love when i bring a fork to your lips, or a slice of pizza to your mouth. you love when i nod affirmatively, smiling as i watch you down another one of my shakes.
you especially love when i ride you. all those past memories, memories of athletic prowess, of high school cheerleaders, of locker room chats, all seem to fade away. the rush of a new PR, the delight in pumping iron, it's all gone. you spread your thick, plumped-out thighs outward and i straddle you as the TV plays. it's hard to get a good hold on your cock with that gut in the way, but you're so hard, so needy, so hot--i plunge myself on it right away. you feel my tight, toned body squeeze the life out of you, hearing the wet slaps of your balls on my defined, perky ass. you might not be able to move as well now, but i certainly can. i'm the tightest you've ever had, and my tits are pressed up against your face.
you're sweating, and you're not even moving. well, not intentionally, anyway. your tits are bouncing more than mine, let's be honest. everything about me is perky and defined, firm--even my ribs are apparent. but you? you're a pig. your moans almost sound like oinks, that's how much pressure you've put on your body. you stare up at me riding your cock, and because of your porn-rotten brain and how pathetic you are, you cum almost immediately, like always. doesn't matter. i give you a hearty dose of Viagra with your mass gainer shake after, and i use your cock for the next few hours. i get horny after the gym, what can i say?
you've blown at least four loads into my wet cunt at this point, and although my stamina hasn't faltered, you're completely spent. your cock is so overstimulated, you wince at the slightest touch. i know this, baby, and i care about you so much, so i make sure i've licked every inch of it clean. i stare up at you from this angle, but i can barely see your face behind your gut. you've really let yourself go, haven't you? you're shaking, overfed, overstimulated, bound to this couch under your own poor decisions. why even leave the house? they're all just gonna make fun of you. you think your gym buddies won't have a few choice words to say about you when you make your return?
you don't care about this, about any of this. your brain is so melted from the constant dopamine, the constant pleasure, that you've lost all self-awareness. your daily schedules consists of cable TV, countless hours of porn and touching your pathetic cock, and, of course, eating everything in sight. you're a complete degenerate, but you're my complete degenerate.
i did tell you i liked bigger guys.

_____________________________________________________________
"Hey [Reader's name]!"
You spun around while adjusting your apron right after punching in for your shift.
"What's up, Fumiko?" you asked, quickly tying your apron into a neat bow.
"Table 7 needs you," she informed you, prompting a frustrated sigh from you. "Can't they wait a minute? I just clocked in!"
"Well, you wouldn't want to upset the boss again by ignoring his favorite customer," Fumiko gently reminded you.
You let out a sigh, muttering under your breath in frustration.
Taking a deep breath, you composed yourself before stepping out of the locker room to begin your shift, knowing that serving Table 7 was your first task as always.
Table 7 was just a short distance from the bar, but what made it hard to miss was the white-haired man seated there, his striking appearance standing out among the other customers.
Pausing once more, you took another deep breath, gathering your composure before making your way over to the table.
As Satoru sensed footsteps approaching from behind, he turned with a broad smile upon seeing you.
"Ah, [Reader's nickname]! Wonderful to see you!" he greeted enthusiastically as you reached his table.
You couldn't resist remarking, "My parents gave me a name for a reason," your grip on the notepad tightened as you struggled to contain your frustration.
Satoru's eyes sparkled behind his trademark sunglasses.
"Okay, chill kitten," he teased once more. You internally groaned at the pet name.
"Call me another pet name, and I'll make sure to file a restraining order against you," you threatened, although you knew you couldn't file a restraining order because...
"Oh yeah? I think you're forgetting something, princess," Satoru retorted, pulling out a pocket gun.
He’s one of the most dangerous men in Japan.
"You can't file a restraining order against me when they know how dangerous I am to society," he whispered with such intimidation that it sent a shiver down your spine.
You glanced at him, trying to gauge if he was serious, but the smile on his face hinted at a hint of psychopathy.
With a sigh, you said, "What do you want to order?" eager to move past the uncomfortable exchange.
"Mhmm, if you were on the menu, I would have ordered you," Satoru shamelessly remarked as he perused the menu.
His words made you want to whack him on the spot.
"If you're looking for entertainment, I suggest booking a private room with one of our exotic dancers," you suggested, hoping to redirect his attention away from you.
But luck wasn't on your side.
"They've already been touched by those dirty drunk businessmen, and besides, nobody will focus on some waitress like you when you're so pretty and perfect for me," Satoru explained, his words dripping with arrogance.
You scoffed at his statement. "Well, if you're into looks, I'm sorry, but I don't date guys like you who are too arrogant and full of ego," you told him angrily.
Satoru chuckled in response. "Well, I can change your mind about me if you'll let me," he said, his tone suggesting he wasn't about to give up.
It seemed he wasn't going to let this go easily.
You stared at him blankly. "Can't you just tell me what your order is?" you asked, not wanting to waste any more time on him.
"Why? So you can go back and ignore me as usual?" Satoru asked with a pout.
"Good thing you know," you retorted.
"Of course I know," Satoru replied, seemingly about to continue, but he was interrupted by another customer.
"Hey miss, can I get another bottle of beer?" the customer interjected.
Turning to the customer, you nodded, "Sure, after I take his order," you said, pointing your pen towards Satoru, who wore an unpleasant expression on his face.
"Get another waiter to get you some beer," Satoru told the customer, his tone dismissive.
You tried to intervene, "Hey!" but Satoru continued.
"Sorry, he's just, you know," you attempted to explain to the customer, but Satoru cut in.
"I'll get the usual meal," he said with a smile.
"You got it then," you replied, jotting down the order that you already knew, before walking away.
Satoru eyed the guy who interrupted your conversation, making a mental note to deal with him later.
You continued your work, feeling the weight of his eyes following you around whenever you served someone.
Those annoyingly pretty blue eyes seemed to track your every move.
You did your best to ignore him, but you couldn't help but return his stare whenever you unconsciously scanned the bar.
Despite finishing his meal, he remained, still watching you. When he noticed your gaze, he smiled and waved at you.
Rolling your eyes, you returned to your tasks, determined not to let him distract you any further.
"So cute," Satoru said with a giggle as you looked away, obviously amused by how hard you were trying to resist his charms.
He enjoyed the challenge, especially when it came to you.
After hours of serving food and drinks to patrons, you glanced at the clock and realized you were close to the end of your shift.
Surprisingly, Satoru was still seated at Table 7.
It seemed like he was waiting for something, but you figured it was none of your business anyway.
"Bring this to table 6," the bartender instructed, handing you five drinks that needed to be served.
This was your last task of the night, and it had to be five drinks.
Carefully balancing them on a tray, you set off to deliver them to table 6. As you walked, you suddenly realized that Table 6 was dangerously close to Satoru's.
"Here's your drinks, sir," you spoke after arriving at their table, gently placing down the drinks.
The men at the table suddenly went quiet as you approached.
One of them, who was uncomfortably close, whistled and eyed your body, but you ignored him and continued placing the drinks.
"I didn't think the drinks would come with such a beautiful lady," he said, earning laughter from his companions.
You knew Satoru was watching, so you felt somewhat safer in case the man tried anything.
"Why are you ignoring me, baby?" the guy said drunkenly.
Ignoring him, you were about to place the last drink when you felt a hand grope your ass, causing you to spill the drink.
"Fuck!" the guy shouted, drawing attention from other customers. "You bitch!" he exclaimed, seemingly about to attack you.
Bracing yourself, you covered your face with the tray, ready to defend against the assault.
But the attack never came.
You uncovered your face from the tray as soon as you heard water splashing.
To your surprise, you saw the guy who groped you was covered in water, with Satoru holding an empty glass raised to the guy's head.
You were speechless at what he had done.
"What's your problem, man?!" the guy shouted at Satoru, his voice filled with anger. Everyone in the vicinity seemed to be holding their phones, ready to record the impending fight between the two.
Satoru scoffed, chuckling."You. You're my problem," he said angrily, pulling out the pocket gun he had and pointing it at the man, who suddenly looked scared.
"You're touching what's mine," Satoru's voice was laced with possessiveness.
Your eyes widened as you rushed to Satoru, attempting to stop him from shooting the guy.
"Satoru, stop it!" you pleaded, reaching for his wrist to prevent him from pulling the trigger.
"Just a second, princess, we need more time," Satoru said, his gaze still fixed on the man as he continued to point the gun.
"What time?!" you exclaimed, panic rising within you as the situation escalated.
"Now," Satoru calmly replied, finally lowering the gun.
Before you could ask him anything else, security guards arrived on the scene, intervening in the fight.
You were speechless, still processing everything that had just unfolded, as Satoru took the opportunity to wrap his arm around your waist and kiss your head.
"Your shift ends now, right? Can you go to the locker room? I'll take you home," he whispered softly.
Still surprised by the turn of events, you didn't have time to get annoyed at his actions.
Instead, you nodded silently before heading to the locker room, leaving Satoru behind to deal with the aftermath of what had happened.
You made your way to the locker room, trying to calm your racing heart. Fumiko entered soon after, concern evident on her face.
"Hey, I saw what happened. Are you okay?" she asked, gently rubbing your shoulder.
"I didn't think your boyfriend was capable of doing that," she added, causing you to look at her in surprise. "Boyfriend?" you let out incredulously.
"Is he not your boyfriend?" Fumiko asked carefully.
"Never in my life would he be my boyfriend," you vehemently denied, heading to your locker to grab your things.
All you wanted was to retreat to your bed for the rest of the night.
"I think the boss wants to talk about what happened," Fumiko informed you, leaving you sighing heavily.
This might be it; he might fire you.
"Okay, I'll head there," you said, grabbing your bag and preparing to leave. However, Fumiko stopped you before you could go any further.
"Get some rest, will ya?" she said with a reassuring smile.
Her words resonated with you, and you returned her smile, nodding in agreement before finally leaving the locker room.
**
The conversation with your boss wasn't too lengthy, though he scolded you for spilling the drink that had caused the fight.
However, to your relief, he didn't fire you. It felt as though Satoru might have intervened somehow to prevent your immediate termination.
The bad news was that you were suspended for a day, meaning you couldn't work tomorrow.
While it was disappointing, you understood the decision. It might be for the best to keep the club safe, especially if it meant Satoru would stay away while you were suspended.
As you exited through the door, you saw Satoru smoking nearby. As soon as he noticed you, he threw away the cigarette and began to approach you, but you stopped him in his tracks.
"Go home, I'll take the bus," you told him firmly, walking in the opposite direction. However, Satoru was about to let you go slowly.
"Wait, I just told you I'll take you home," he insisted.
"But I can't face you right now, Satoru. I almost lost my job there!" you snapped at him, frustration evident in your voice.
You expected him to argue back, but instead, he surprised you by taking off his blazer and wrapping it around you, leaving you speechless.
"It's cold outside. Please, let me take you home," he said softly, his demeanor unusually gentle. It was the first time you had seen him act like this.
"Will you leave me alone if you take me home?" you asked, hoping for him to accept it.
However, his smile dropped at your question.
"I don't think I can leave you alone, not when I like you too much," Satoru confessed, but you didn't take his confession lightly.
"Oh, stop this crap. You can go and find someone else to date then," you retorted, refusing to let his words sway you.
"If you agree to be my fake girlfriend for a day, I'll leave you alone," Satoru suggested, his proposal tempting despite your reservations.
"Why do you even need a fake girlfriend to begin with?" you asked, curious about his motives.
"To impress my grandfather. That geezer wants me to bring someone to a ball party that's held tomorrow," Satoru replied, providing an explanation that made sense.
The timing coincidentally aligned with the day you were suspended from work, and you didn't have any other plans.
"Fine, you better keep your end of the deal," you told him, reluctantly agreeing to his proposal.
Satoru smiled softly at you after you accepted his offer. That left you feeling something that you couldn't explain.
What the hell was that?
**
As you were about to head inside your house, Satoru stopped you. "Hey, I'll pick you up tomorrow by 7 am," he said, causing you to stop in your tracks.
"7? That's too early! Can't you see it's 1 am?" you protested.
"I know, but it'll be fun. You'll get to be treated like a princess," Satoru smirked at you before turning and walking back to his car, leaving you standing there feeling confused.
You were about to ask him for clarification, but he had already left.
Shaking your head in bewilderment, you headed inside the house and got ready for bed, still wondering what Satoru had planned for tomorrow morning.
**
"I didn't think you'd bring me to the mall," you remarked to Satoru, who was busy looking at clothes for you.
"Does it really have to be here at Louis Vuitton?" you added, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the luxurious surroundings.
"I can't let you go into the ball wearing cheap clothes, and besides, that geezer is allergic to anything less than top-tier fashion. So, if we want to impress him, then..." Satoru paused, pulling out a dress.
"You need to wear this," he said, showing you the dress.
"I would have to work ten jobs just to be able to purchase that," you told him, feeling a mixture of disbelief and gratitude.
Satoru chuckled at your remark.
"But you don't need to work ten jobs to buy this when you have me," he said, his ego shining through. You rolled your eyes at his typical arrogance.
"We're only going to buy one, right?" you asked, trying to reel him in, but Satoru didn't respond.
Instead, he is immediately swarmed by sales ladies to assist him in finding you the perfect clothes.
The original plan was just to buy clothes for the ball, but it ended up with tons of outfits for various occasions – working, hanging out, lounging at home, and even for work.
"You didn't stick to your plan, did you?" you asked him as you both left the shop, him carrying tons of bags while you only had a few.
"So what? At least you have more clothes to wear," Satoru remarked as you both walked towards the parking area on the ground floor of the mall.
Just as Satoru was about to open the door to his car, your eyes widened as you saw someone unexpected, causing you to instinctively pull Satoru close to you.
His hands unconsciously went to the wall, as if pinning you against it.
"Woah, I didn't expect this," Satoru let out with a smirk, clearly enjoying the unexpected turn of events.
"Shut up, there's someone I didn't want to see, and I need you to cover for me," you told him urgently, but Satoru was stubborn.
"Where?" he said, looking around, making you panic. You grabbed both of his cheeks and made him face you.
"Just look at me! Don't turn around!" you whispered angrily.
"Well, I can't deny you're giving me the chance to look at your pretty face," Satoru teased, but you rolled your eyes in exasperation.
As you saw a shadow approaching, panic surged through you again. Without thinking, you pressed your lips against Satoru's.
His eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't resist. He kissed you back, his hand instinctively moving to your waist while the other remained pressed against the wall.
You could feel Satoru's smirk against your lips as he began to dominate the kiss between the two of you.
Lost in the moment, neither of you noticed when someone approached.
"Uh, excuse me?" the guy's voice interrupted, causing Satoru to pull away from the kiss and bite his lip in frustration.
"Yes?" Satoru replied, trying to maintain his composure as you ducked your face, hiding onto his chest in embarrassment.
"I think you shouldn't be doing that here," the guy said, and you stayed quiet as you recognized his voice. Out of all the places, he had to be here?
"You're ruining a good time for me, dude," Satoru told the guy without even looking at him.
"If you interfere again, you'll never see the light of day," Satoru threatened, his hand moving to his gun just to scare the guy off.
The guy backed away and left, leaving you two alone at last. You finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Was it him, wasn't it?" Satoru spoke, his voice deep and serious.
"Huh?" you asked, finally looking up to see him staring at you with an unreadable expression.
"The reason why you're in this position?" Satoru asked, his hand gently holding your chin. Your heart raced as you met his gaze, unsure of what to say.
"But then again, I can finally taste your lips," Satoru whispered, his words causing you to blush furiously.
You thought he was about to lean in for another kiss, but to your surprise, he pulled away and picked up the bags from the ground before heading back to the car to open it.
You stood there, speechless, trying to process what had just happened and the whirlwind of emotions it stirred within you.
"You're not going inside?" Satoru asked, a smirk evident in his tone, and you felt the urge to wipe it off his face.
Ignoring his smugness, you walked up to the car and opened the passenger door, getting inside and taking a seat. Satoru didn't say much as he started the engine.
You waited, expecting him to speak, but when he finally did as he began driving, you weren't prepared for his choice of topic.
"I think it would be best if you wore the midnight blue dress so it would match my eyes," Satoru suddenly spoke, catching you off guard.
"You just had to choose that as the icebreaker for our conversation?" you asked, staring at him incredulously.
"What? You wanted me to talk about how sweet those lips of yours are? Because I can tell you straight if you want," Satoru replied casually, his words annoying you.
"Whatever, it's not like you'll be getting more than that," you muttered, but you heard him chuckle.
"I assure you, princess, that you'll give me more," Satoru said confidently.
"Why do you think so?" you asked, genuinely curious.
"I just feel it," he replied cryptically, leaving you puzzled by his enigmatic response.
***
You admired yourself in the mirror after putting on the fitted midnight dress.
Lost in thought, you didn't notice Satoru approaching until he appeared behind you, his hand resting on your waist as he looked at you with a grin on his face.
"So gorgeous," he whispered directly into your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
Your breath hitched as his words stirred something within you, and it felt strange to have Satoru eyeing you as if you were his.
Sensing your reaction, Satoru leaned down and kissed your neck, leaving you shocked by his sudden boldness.
The sensation of his lips against your skin sent a jolt through you, and you struggled to compose yourself during his unexpected actions.
"Can't help myself," Satoru murmured against your skin, his voice low and seductive. "You look so irresistible in that dress, like a vision from a dream."
His lips trailed along your neck, sending tingles down your spine.
"I knew it would fit you the moment I saw that dress in the store," he confessed, his breath warm against your skin.
"Satoru—" you began to protest, but he hushed you as if he already knew what you were going to say.
"Shh, remember you're my fake girlfriend now," Satoru reminded you, his words a gentle reminder of the charade you both agreed to.
As you slowly processed how the fake girlfriend charade had begun, you felt a cold band being placed on your finger.
Quickly, you stared at your hand, surprised to see a beautiful ring adorning your ring finger.
While you were still absorbed in examining the ring, Satoru took the opportunity to whisper to you.
"I need to let them see that you're taken," he said with a smile, "for now," he added cryptically.
Confused by his words, you couldn't shake the feeling that all of this would lead to consequences in the end.
**
Both you and Satoru entered the luxurious mansion, with Satoru guiding you inside with his hand on your waist.
You tried your best not to appear too stiff, knowing that any sign of discomfort would be noticed by everyone around you.
Eventually, you both stopped at the entrance of the ballroom.
"Make sure to act cool," Satoru whispered to you, and you nodded, taking a deep breath before the two of you entered the room.
The ballroom was as extravagant as expected, filled with large paintings, a lavish chandelier, and a polished floor where guests danced to the slow jazz music playing in the background.
The room buzzed with the sound of people conversing and laughing, adding to the lively atmosphere.
You observed your surroundings while Satoru guided you to where his grandfather was, trying to maintain your composure amid the greatness and finesse of the event.
As you stopped observing the room, you finally spotted Satoru's grandfather, who was conversing with other guests, holding a glass of wine in his right hand.
"Hey, old man," Satoru greeted his grandfather casually as if he were addressing a stranger.
His grandfather turned to look at Satoru with a blank expression, but as soon as he noticed you, his face lit up with a warm smile.
"Oh! She must be your date for this event?" his grandfather asked, his attention fully on you and Satoru as he excused himself from the other guests he had been speaking with.
He extended his hand toward you as if expecting a handshake.
You looked at Satoru for encouragement, and he smiled reassuringly before you accepted his grandfather's handshake.
"It's so nice to meet you, Ayaka-san," his grandfather greeted you, but you were utterly confused.
"Ayaka? I'm [reader's name]," you told him, which caused the old man's smile to falter as he stared at you and Satoru back and forth.
"You're not Kobayashi's daughter?" he asked, further adding to your confusion.
"Kobayashi—what?" you turned to Satoru, seeking an explanation for this unexpected turn of events.
Satoru simply laughed, placing his hand on your shoulder and pulling you in close so you could hear him.
"Go and take some food from the buffet while I discuss some things with my old man," he instructed you.
You were about to protest, but you felt Satoru's grip tighten. He placed a soft kiss on your forehead.
"Now go, but don't stray too far from my sight," he added as he walked towards his grandfather, engaging in a discussion that felt off-limits to you.
Feeling a bit left out, you made your way to the buffet, grabbing a lavish plate as you pondered your choices.
Lost in thought, you were surprised when someone placed a cupcake on your plate, prompting you to look up at them.
"It seems you're lost in thought, madam," a boy who seemed younger than you spoke.
"Oh, sorry. It's just... I'm not used to these kinds of events," you explained.
"I could tell," he said with a smile. "I'm Isamu, Gojo-san's cousin," he introduced himself.
"Oh, I'm [reader's name], his girlfriend," you introduced yourself, but you noticed how his face became confused.
"Really? But everyone here was told that Ayaka-san is his girlfriend," he said, adding to your confusion.
Who is this Ayaka-san? If he already has a girlfriend, why would he bring you here?
"Is she that popular?" you asked him, feeling increasingly perplexed.
"Wait, you don't know her? I thought Gojo-san at least told you about her," he replied.
"If you wouldn't mind, would you like to dance with me? I can fill you in on the background of the two," he suggested, extending his hand.
You glanced at Satoru, who was still busy greeting guests, and figured it wouldn't hurt, so you accepted his hand and allowed him to lead you to the dance floor.
As you began dancing, he finally spoke. "They were playmates in their childhood. Gojo-san would throw a tantrum if Ayaka-san wasn't his playmate," he explained.
You listened attentively, but you couldn't shake the strange feeling bubbling up inside you, as if your blood was boiling.
"Everyone adores them, and it's already been agreed that they'll get married when they're older," he continued, leaving you even more puzzled and uncertain about your role in this situation.
Feeling numb from the revelation and betrayed by Satoru's omission, you couldn't help but feel like you were being cast as the villain in this family's storybook.
"But I don't know, everything changed when Gojo-san was appointed to take over his father's business, and it was mentioned that the business was dangerous," Isamu explained, adding to your confusion.
"So where is this Ayaka-san?" you asked, trying to make sense of the situation.
"I don't know. I thought she would come today as Gojo-san's date, but I didn't expect it to be you," Isamu replied, his tone sounding mocking to your ears.
“But I should give you a warning, Don't believe or fall for his concerned face; you'll get yourself in trouble,” Isamu told you which made you even more confused.
Before you could respond, you felt a hand on your waist and turned to see Satoru.
"Excuse me, but you're dancing with my girlfriend," he said, his tone polite but laced with tension.
"Oh, sorry," Isamu apologized, releasing your hand and wiping it, which triggered you.
"I'll leave you two alone for some time," he said with a smile before walking away, leaving you feeling even more conflicted.
Satoru cupped your cheek, his concern was evident in his eyes.
"Hey, are you alright? Did he do something wrong?" he asked, but you couldn't shake off the feeling of being scrutinized by everyone around you.
Pushing away his hand, you looked at the ground and whispered, "I... I want to go home.”
Satoru didn't respond immediately, but you could sense his frustration as he glanced around the room.
"I shouldn't have left you alone," he muttered, his words filled with regret. Grabbing your wrist, he pulled you close, and together you walked out of the ballroom.
Satoru quickly led you to one of the bathrooms, entering before you and locking the door behind him.
He turned to you, finding you still avoiding his gaze, unsure of what to do next.
Taking charge, he placed his hands on your waist and lifted you, seating you on the sink.
Once you were settled, he leaned in, resting both hands on the sink as he studied your expression.
"What did you two talk about?" Satoru asked, his tone gentle but insistent.
You bit your lip, hesitant to discuss it. His hand moved to your chin, his touch soft as he advised, "Don't bite them too hard."
Your mind was swirling with conflicting emotions.
Just yesterday, you were angry with him and vowed to keep your distance, but now... the mere mention of Ayaka next to Satoru stirred a fierce jealousy within you.
Were you really starting to fall for him?
You gazed into Satoru's eyes, he looked at you with a genuine look. But then, a warning from Isamu echoed in your mind
"Don't believe or fall for his concerned face; you'll get yourself in trouble."
Conflicted and unsure of whom to trust, you couldn't bear the thought of Satoru displaying this same affection to Ayaka, his supposed childhood sweetheart.
In a split-second decision, you seized Satoru by the collar and pulled him into a kiss, letting your emotions take over.
Satoru responded swiftly, his hands finding their place on your waist as he reciprocated the kiss with equal intensity.
You felt a surge of desperation, a need for him to affirm that you were indeed his. Your hands moved to his collar, unbuttoning his clothes in a feverish haze.
Satoru allowed you to take the lead, deepening the kiss as the passion between you intensified.
You pulled away from the kiss, gasping for breath, and rested your head on Satoru's shoulder.
His hands found yours, guiding you as you helped him remove his clothes.
His whispered encouragement urged you on, and at that moment, you surrendered yourself to the overwhelming desire, allowing yourself to lose control completely.
**
You woke up in Satoru's room, feeling a wave of confusion and regret wash over you as the events of the previous night flooded your mind.
You remembered the passion and the intimacy, but also the emptiness that followed.
“Don't think about anything, just think of me- God I love you too much, you're driving me crazy.” Satoru's whispered declarations of love echoed in your ears last night, but you knew deep down they held no true meaning.
As you sat up, the reality of the situation hit you hard. Satoru had left you alone in his bed, a painful reminder of his indifference.
Anger and betrayal surged within you, mingling with the hurt and vulnerability.
"Fuck you, Satoru," you muttered under your breath as you clenched your fists, the sting of betrayal fueling your resolve.
Despite the ache in your legs, you pushed yourself to get dressed, every movement a painful reminder of the night before.
Before leaving, you scribbled a short note, a final message to Satoru.
"Don't come find me," you wrote hastily, the words carrying the weight of your shattered trust and wounded pride.
With a heavy heart and a resolve to start anew, you left his house behind, planning to leave the city and leave him behind for good.

Bunny Ears and Chocolate - Ava Coleman/Female Reader
Ava Coleman/Female Reader
Summary: When another celebration arrives, you think it's going to be one more blank day, but an unexpected gift and a wonderful girlfriend prove otherwise.
Classification: Slight angst, Fluff
Warnings: Reference to a reader's unhappy childhood, Ava being a romantic baby
Note: I should have posted this at Easter, but you know me, I just found it in my archived writings
Word count: +2200
Tumblr media
Unrevised
Growing up in a home that was considered unstructured and not at all affectionate deprived you of many moments that other children had throughout their lives: the tooth fairy didn't even bother to leave 5 cents for each tooth that fell out, Christmas didn't have the same sparkle as the TV commercials and Thanksgiving was always summed up in canned food, maybe a fight between your parents in the kitchen at the end of the night. It was no different with Easter, every now and then you'd get a cheap bar of chocolate at school or from some kind neighbor, you didn't even take part in a neighbourhood egg hunt. The whole process was a gray area between so many celebrations, weekends and holidays spent watching movie marathons with lots of popcorn and a pinch of loneliness by choice.
It was like that for years, until you met Ava, who never cared about any of this before and you thought it might be a good match when you started dating. However, she had this, her parents were affectionate and gave the best moments that continue to be remembered fondly when each of these dates arrives. You like to hear her describe every toy she got from some distant relative and later exchanged for something more interesting with classmates, the weird casseroles grandma invented for dinner or when she bought the first make-up with the money the fairy, aka her mom, left under the pillow. Between laughs and jokes, she always looks forward to hearing your stories and can't hide disappointment when the subject is suddenly changed, teasing you a little, but giving up so as not to make you uncomfortable. Deep down, you start to care and feel envious of all the lost moments, all the things you can't have, the invisible, dormant childish wounds festering. Wounds set aside, especially when it comes to her work as a teacher at Abbott.
"Miss Y/L/N, how do we know if the butterfly is male or female?" one of the students asks, leaning over the table to get a better look inside the transparent box.
"Don't be silly, Kayla!" another replies, rolling his eyes, and does the same "They're all female."
"Actually, not all of them are female, dear." you stand between them and point to the insect that's emerging from its cocoon, weeks before you found a caterpillar in Barb's flower beds and it collected itself in the cocoon, which coincidentally ended up hatching on the last day of school before holiday "That's a monarch butterfly, if there are dark spots on the hind wings it's a male and if not it's a female."
"But it hasn't opened the wings yet." Kayla observes sadly, for a child minutes can seem like a real eternity "It's taking too long..."
"That's just it, hatching can take from 10 minutes to 60 minutes, each one has their own time."
"Just like the rest of us," she adds with a hearty smile.
"You all see how incredible metamorphosis can be?!"
A little animated chatter starts up as your class waits anxiously to watch it fully emerge from cocoon, most of them debating which names to choose and how they would take care of it, forgetting the little agreement they had made, you decided to let them enjoy the moment before scrapping the hopeful children's plans.
"I don't see any spots!" Carson shouts excitedly "We've got a girl!"
After a while, they agree on a name and end up naming her Lizzy - cute, short and pretty. In third period, your kids gather to release her into the playground, and you take advantage of the moment to explain the relationship between butterflies and Easter and all the meaning behind the beautiful transformation.
"Miss Y/L/N..." Kayla calls out to you shyly as everyone gets ready for break, most of them already running, the girl puts her hands behind back and blushes approaching the table "I saved this one for you."
She holds up an Easter egg wrapped in fluffy colored paper, a bow adorning it and making the package more attractive. The girl stares at you with her eyes shining in anticipation as you fight back imminent tears, not something you expected to happen when you woke up in the morning. It's your first chocolate Easter egg in all your years of life, a small, innocent gesture from a schoolchild that makes the entire wall built up around commemorative dates and traditions crumble in seconds.
"Thank you so much, dear..." you accept the treat with a little uncertainty, hands trembling as you hold the candy "I..."
"I knew you'd like it, it's very good, I promise." she says cheerfully and leaves the classroom, as if she hadn't just made a grand gesture.
As soon as the girl leaves, the principal comes through the doorway with her usual cheeky grin and full of curiosity about your reaction, asking herself what she could have done to you, none of which comes close to the real thing. Her presence is barely noticed, not even when she closes the door after the room has emptied, your eyes fixed on the adorable wrapping, the colorful patterns and the generic but cute note wishing Happy Easter.
"Kitten..." she calls for the third time, worried "Is everything all right?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, I was over the moon." you try to pull yourself together, compressing lips and bringing fingers to the corners of eyes, wiping your face "Hungry?"
"Just of you." Ava whispers seductively and takes two steps forward, standing inches away to steal a quick kiss "Now tell me what happened or I'll tickle the hell out of you." it's the kind of affectionate threat that doesn't make you laugh this time, it's a difficult topic to talk about, but maybe that's the time.
"Well, there's a reason I never tell holiday stories or have great comments for yours, I..." tears are there again, stronger and warmer, you take the candy to heart in search of comfort, the woman keeps quiet listening attentively "I never had any of that, my parents never gave a damn and I wasn't a demanding child."
"That?"
"Coins from the tooth fairy, nice dinners, Christmas trees, gifts and..." the Easter egg is raised with a certain pride, finally giving in to crying, tears of sadness and happiness mixing together "This! It's my first!" you finally admits, feeling a little childish at the thrill and excitement of something so small for an adult.
"Your first?" she is genuinely confused, staring at the simple candy, which for her has no great significance, then the realization of the fact hits her hard "Really?"
"Yes, one of my students just gave it to me." you whisper, feeling the tears wanting to come back again and a tight feeling in chest "I know, it's silly..."
"No, it's not, it's never silly, especially if it's something important to you." the woman responds quickly, wrapping arms around your trembling body and puts your head against her soft breasts, it's an intimate and comforting act "And if I'd known before, I'd have been the first person to give you a chocolate. And decorated the house last Christmas. Or better, I would have taken you to New York. I guess I just wouldn't have had a solution for the tooth fairy... but there are ideas on how to make up for it."
"God, you're the best girlfriend ever."
"Of course I am." Ava kisses your forehead and takes advantage of the position to slip her fingers under your shirt, lightly tickling the sensitive spots "So much so that I ordered tarts from that new store you mentioned last week."
She holds up the cardboard bag with the pretty logo and half a dozen tarts in various flavors. A delicious dessert for a pleasant shared lunch, which has become routine, a moment of peace to enjoy each other's presence in the busy and chaotic routine that is working in childhood education.
With a bag full of art supplies and a pile of exam papers in hand, you enter the apartment, struggling not to knock everything off the improvised jenga. Usually you would have the help of the tallest one, those long arms look so sexy carrying boxes full of children's books and covered in glitter, but after all that sugar and dough, she had to go home early with an stomach bug. Of course, in her pile there are one or two medicines and tea for her.
"Darling?" home is strangely dark, silent and there's no sign of your partner's vibrant personality "Ava? Are you feeling better?" you ask, starting to get worried, hurrying to turn on the light switches.
When the light turns on, you find yourself with one foot on what looks like a rabbit's footprint glued to the wood floor. Then another next to it, followed by another and another, the bags are abandoned at the entrance and the door closed. Step by step you reach the coat closet, where a chocolate bar is placed next to a card with the words "Our love is sweet as the place we started the day together... or as your coffee." handwritten in impeccable calligraphy. It makes you smile lovingly, she always jokes about the amount of cream you put in the liquid as you get ready for the morning, only to steal some of it with kisses. The fun mugs, perhaps one of the first things you bought when decided to move in together, hold truffles and the next tip. Seven cards later, almost every room explored and your arm full of candies, you finally reach the last place with the tip "No matter where we are, as long as we're together, we've found our home." and it's obvious that it's the master bedroom, where you love each other, talk about your days and plan the future, where you can strip away the burdens of everyday life and forget about the world.
"Do you like it, kitten?" the woman asks, coming up behind as soon as you open the door.
In the middle of the bed, there's a huge Easter basket of chocolates, from simple chocolate bars to decorated boxes of handmade truffles, with colorful wrapping and a giant bow, next to a big stuffed bunny, one of those fluffy ones that are too cute to resist hugging. A Happy Easter banner has been placed above the headboard and when turn around you let out a laugh when notice that the principal is wearing a fuzzy bunny ears, one up and the other down, a cute made-up nose.
"Welcome back, little baby!" she wraps her arms around waist and lifts you into the air, capturing your lips as she spins around.
"You... You did all this for me? Aw, that's so sweet and thoughtful."
"And all yours, I wanted to make your first official Easter something special." Ava puts you down and picks up a second bunny ear from the shelf, carefully placing it on your head "My cutie..."
"I'm literally speechless, all I can think about is how amazing you are."
"I know!" she jokes and leans in to give you another kiss "Sweetheart, you're a wonderful person and I'm sorry you didn't have any of these moments, but know that I'm going to make each of these dates unforgettable and unique, something of ours."
You stare at her in shock and feel your eyes sting, tears gathering at the edges of eyes, it's hard to control. This was the first surprise you've ever received in your life and certainly the best of all, every detail was thought of, planned and made especially for you, as well as the romantic touch she gave to every little and big gift.
"You don't have to do that..." you whisper, voice breaking with emotion, "I... You already do so much for me."
"I haven't even done half of what I want to do for you." your girlfriend smiles tenderly, her hand sliding gently across your cheek "You deserve the world and I'm going to do my best to give it to you."
"I don't even know how to thank you for everything." a feeling of being silly comes over you again, but it's quickly gone when you see the passionate smile on her plump lips "It's more than I could have dreamed of."
"You don't have to be thankful, baby, just enjoy it." she replies, lifting you onto her lap and standing face to face "Or enjoy it while you thank me."
Ava is funny and suggestive, walking slowly over to the bed, sitting there with you on her lap, surrounded by the candies and the cheerful decoration. She brings a hand up to yours, intertwining her fingers with yours. The comfortable silence is broken only by the soft sound of breathing and happy giggles.
"Shall we eat some chocolate and then watch a movie?" the woman asks, squeezing you a little tighter against her "We have the whole weekend to ourselves."
All you can do is nod, leaning in again to give her a kiss, this time slow and passionate, full of tenderness. She moans feeling your fingers tangle in the black strands, pulling her towards you and deepening the contact.
"I love you, baby." you whisper against her lips, knocking into the soft mattress.
"No more than I love you, kitten. You have no idea."

My Comfort Characters + Comfort Prompts!
Alright! Since it's Spring Break I'm going to try and get some writing done with some of my comfort characters. They might be short prompts (unless I get really into them) but I'll try and post at least one story a day, maybe even two if I have the time!
SOME OF THESE WILL HAVE MATURE THEMES AND MENTIONS OF TRAUMA. TW: SA Mention in one of Matthew's Prompts.
Here is the characters with the prompts that I'll be going for (some based off of my own experiences but put in a way that others can relate to.):
Dick Grayson/Nightwing - Being Touch Starved/Wanting A Hug (General Comfort) Sometimes being a hero is taxing, and when your body is trained to handle blow after blow... sometimes a hug is enough to make you release a lot of feelings you didn't know you were even holding in. Dick Grayson notices your change in demeanor, and just does a simple act of giving you a long hug and telling you it's going to be okay.
Tadashi Hamada - Academic Burnout Comfort After doing your best in your academics, you still feel like you're falling behind or just on the wrong academic path in general. Tadashi helps comfort reader that if they want to take a break and rethink things, it's totally okay.
Matthew Anderson - Having To Grow Up Too Fast/Lack of Childhood Comfort After having to take care and deal with so many traumatic things at a young age, it's made you feel like an adult, even when you weren't. Now that you are an adult, looking back and realizing you couldn't just be a kid and have a normal childhood really upsets you. Matthew comforts the character and shows them that while it might not be the same, it's still possible to just act like a kid and heal your inner child.
AND (TW: SA Mention) Matthew Anderson - Respecting Boundaries Comfort You and Matthew have been dating for awhile. However, you're finding a hard time telling him about your past experience with being sexually assaulted. When Matthew starts noticing that you're starting to distance yourself from him before things start to heat up, he asks if you're okay and comfortable with him. When you tell him the truth, he comforts you and tells you that he will always love you regardless if you want to have sex or not.
Yuji Itadori - Perfectionist Tendencies Leading To Self-Esteem Issues Comfort You've been wanting to become an jujutsu sorcerer and help people your whole life, but you hold yourself to a different standard. After making a tiny mistake (which does not feel tiny to you at all) you start to doubt that you'll ever be good enough. Yuji comforts the reader and tells them that we can't all be perfect all the time, that we need to forgive ourselves from time to time, and we can only strive to do our best.
Obey Me! Satan - Learning Disability/Gifted Child Burnout Comfort You used to be great with academics when you were younger, and maybe in some subjects you still are just as good. But now that you're older and in a completely new academic environment, no one but Satan sees how you struggle to study, and stress yourself out to the point of crying when the words on the page seem to get jumbled up and not make sense to you. Satan helps you take a break, then helps make the studying process a little bit easier.
Ruggie Bucchi - Not Knowing When To Take A Break Comfort You're the type of person who is so used to being tasked with everything. Cleaning, cooking, studying, and caring for others, but that means you tend to forget to take care of yourself a lot. After feeling overwhelmed by the tasks you have to do, you make yourself on the verge of being sick because you can't seem to just pause anything. Ruggie helps the reader by forcing them to sit down before they collpase, and helps share the load with the reader and shows that it's possible to let other people take care of them too.
Cove Holden - Struggling With Things Changing Comfort Takes place around Step 3, when all of your friends and family are taking about their plans for the future, you start to realize what that exactly means. The feelings hit you all at once that things aren't going to be the same anymore, and while you're happy for your friends and family, the change still scares you. Cove reminds you that no matter what happens, he will always be there for you through everything, and that while things are changing, some things will always stay the same.

Nothing in Particular | 2 - Commitment, or Lack Thereof
Tumblr media
Pairing: Omota Uramichi x F!Reader
Summary: A series of unexpected encounters and misunderstandings causes you to fill a large and gaping hole in Uramichi’s life.
Minors and blank blogs DNI! You will be blocked!
Tumblr media
With the director calling an end to the final scene, the kids surrounded Uramichi and the mascots, not wanting the day to be over just yet. Taking advantage of their commotion, you thought it’d be best to make things less awkward by leaving then, but it was such a shame that you had to go. A guy that’s good with kids was totally your type.
With one of the kids still latching onto his leg, Usahara ribbed Uramichi. “Hey! I didn't expect you to be that hurt about not getting invited to the gokon. Usually you decline, so I didn’t bother, but y’know, you’ll always be my best wingman after Kumatani.”
“What a silly rabbit!” Uramichi commented, finally deciding that the best way to get the child off him was to gently shake them off. The kid only squeezed his leg harder, thinking they were playing around. Uramichi smiled through his frustration.
“He thinks he can date like a grown up!” The child made a face at the word ‘date.’ “Aren’t you only five, Usao-kun? I think it’s best to stay care-free and innocent for as long as possible. Before you know it, your parents will be badgering you non-stop about why you can’t keep a steady girlfriend or why they aren’t grandparents yet!”
Aw, shit. Usahara forgot that he was still in the mascot outfit. “Right, hippity-hop!” He said, going back to that high-pitched voice that made his throat hurt. “Oniisan knows best!”
To make the kids forget about how he broke character, he ushered them towards the exit with the promise of stickers, glancing back to see that Uramichi approved of his method of saving face.
Searching back towards the cameras, Uramichi saw that you were already gone. This was probably his only chance to talk to you.
As luck would have it, he didn’t run into you on the way to his dressing room, and with all of the noise he heard from Utano’s, he didn’t dare to go there either.
He followed his usual routine of changing into his street clothes and smoking a cig before heading home. The only thing unusual was the knock on his door. It definitely wasn’t Iketeru or Usahara. It’s probably one of the assistant directors, he thought. Quickly, he pulled down his shirt as he waited for someone to burst in with some ridiculous demand. At this point, he was used to working overtime for some bullshit reason.
Instead Uramichi was met with silence.
Well, whatever it was, wasn’t that important then. It was odd but not odd enough for him to dwell on it.
Smokes in hand, he resolved to ask Utano for your number the next time they were together in private. In his mind, it was efficient. He wouldn’t have to bug her on their day off, and he’d get the immediate pay off of finally having a way to contact you.
“Oh!” A voice squeaked as he opened the door. “Um, uh–hi!”
In his shock, Uramichi dropped his lighter, and the two of you nearly brushed hands while picking it up. He tucked it in his back pocket.
“Hey,” he said back. Did his thoughts cause you to manifest at his door? No, no, no. He was being irrational. Obviously you were the one who knocked earlier.
When you snuck out of Utano’s dressing room, you decided to be straightforward with Uramichi instead of bullshitting around, making things awkward and dragged out. But with each minute that passed after knocking, your resolve shrunk. You had waited patiently to be called in, but there was only silence. You weren’t sure if you’d seem too desperate if you knocked again. Maybe he had already left.
“Uh, I know it’s scripted but your speech to the kids was inspiring,” you started off. You thought back to work. People usually were more receptive to things if you complimented them first.
Uramichi was grateful that you didn’t know the inner workings of MHK. The amount of money they spent in post-prod to edit out some of his ramblings was absurd.
“It even got through to a grown up like me,” you chuckled nervously.
You had to admit that up close, he’d lost that TV glow aura. His eyes weren’t shining, mouth drawn into a neutral line. Right. It must be exhausting to keep up that overly cheerful and enthusiastic persona. You shouldn’t drag this out longer than necessary.
Clearing your throat, you got to the point. “There’s something I’d like to talk to you about. Maybe we could meet up soon and talk?”
When was the last time Uramichi talked to someone outside of work or in a situation that wasn’t transactional? Maybe a week ago… when you two were talking late at night. Oh.
The sound of Utano calling out your name made both of you turn.
His lack of reaction was nerve racking. Nonetheless, you continued on even if it led to your embarrassment. He was right. You had to take accountability for your actions. Pulling out your phone, you asked for his number. And in shock, he gave it to you.
“Saved!” You told him with a smile and a wave. “I’ll text you soon to arrange everything.”
The rest of Uramichi’s evening was spent in a daze. He kept forgetting what rep he was on at the gym, doubling the amount of exercise he normally did. Thinking the sauna would help him gather his thoughts, he spent extra time there too–a bad idea; he kept repeating this afternoon in his head while sweating like crazy.
The result of his daze was an exceptionally good pump and glowing skin. Women, men, and even babies stared as he left the gym. It was a rare occurrence to see someone that was TV-star handsome walking down the street.
“What a hottie,” someone whispered to their friend as they walked past him. He had his ear buds in though, so he was oblivious.
“A shame though,” their friend said, “Just look at those eyes! It’s not fair that someone who’s so obviously dead inside can have such refreshing skin.”
You said that you’d text him soon, but what exactly did you mean? Soon, as in today? Well, you were supposed to get dinner with Utano. Maybe you meant after that. But ‘soon’ was such a vague concept. He recalled all the times he had told others that he’d love to catch up soon or talk to them soon. They were all lies to get them off his back. ‘Soon’ wasn’t just in a few days, a few weeks, or even months. Usually adults used the word ‘soon’ as a euphemism for ‘never’!
Was that what you were doing with him? Then why go through all the trouble?
His thoughts took him to the entrance of Cat Kick. Well, he usually grabbed a beer before heading to bed anyway. Besides, he didn’t really mind Nekota’s company either. Maybe hanging out at the bar could distract him.
“Your aura seems especially glowing today,” Nekota beamed at him while drying a glass. “Something good happen today at work?
Pulling up in a seat near the middle, Uramichi deadpanned, “Absolutely not.”
Luckily Nekota had already set down the glass. He might have dropped it in shock otherwise. “Is–is that so? Well, if you’d like to tell me, I’m willing to listen. It only took me two divorces, but I finally understand what my ex-wives meant.” Uramichi already felt as if he couldn’t relate to the bartender. “It feels good to be heard!”
Not the type to kiss and tell, Uramichi chose to keep the situation as vague as possible. “I got involved with someone, and it’s… concerning.”
Oh, this was good. Concerning, huh? Nekota leaned over the counter to hear better. Who was this mysterious person?
“I’m waiting for further instructions, but I haven’t heard anything yet. Their timeline was vague, and I have no way of contacting them directly. I guess I’m having a difficult time because I’m anticipating the worst.”
Nekota couldn’t imagine Uramichi being involved with any suspicious crowds. From what Usahara and Kumatani told him, Uramichi was pretty straight-laced during college and at work. He wondered what could have changed. It was always the ones you least expected, he thought, shaking his head. If anything, he thought it was more likely that Usahara or Kikaku would be involved in something sketchy.
Used to the weird looks that Nekota gave him, Uramichi decided that it’d be best not to ask what he was thinking. “You were right,” he told him, admitting that it felt good to confide in someone.
Ding!
He perked up as his phone notified him of a new message, eyes impatiently reading what he’d been waiting for all day.
Your text read like some HR-approved abomination.
Good evening, Mr. Omota, I’d like to schedule a meeting between us to discuss what happened that night after the konbini. Please let me know what your availability is, though I would prefer to meet at your earliest convenience. My schedule is flexible. Thank you and good night
You even signed your text with your full name.
“Everything okay?” Nekota asked.
Uramichi was sweating, looking more flushed than usual when he drank, with a very concerning look on his face. He downed half of his beer and set his phone down.
“I thought I wanted to be contacted immediately, but now that I’ve received their message, I don’t know how to respond.” There were no emojis, no stickers, no gifs, just very formal and polite language. The complete opposite of how you were in person. “How do you understand tone through text?”
Nekota shrugged. “Sometimes you just need to know the person.”
Uramichi gave him a look. It was the same look Nekota’s ex-wives used to give him, that look that said ‘You useless fucking bastard!’
“Buuuut if you’re not that close, how about you establish your own tone? Then they can clarify or agree with you from there! For example, sometimes my ex-wives will text me, asking when they’ll get their alimony checks. No emojis, no stickers, nothing! So to set the tone, I text them something like this.”
Uramichi shouldn’t have made the mistake of looking at Nekota’s screen. The text thread he showed as an example was embarrassing.
Ex-wifey #1: You haven’t paid us this month. Ex-wifey#2: Yeah, you’re late again.
“See, you can’t tell if they’re mad or stating facts, right?” He didn’t give Uramichi time to ask why it couldn’t be both. “Well, since I wasn’t able to tell what kind of mood they were in, I tried to set up a positive vibe between us.”
Nekota: Yeah, I’m not paying for alimony this month ღゝ◡╹ )ノ♡
“See, this expression shows that I’m wincing in pain, an apology of sorts, and showing my remorse. The heart means I’m asking for their forgiveness and grace.”
Unsure of how to respond, Uramichi could only give him a baffled ‘huh.’ Nekota failed to address their responses after–bastard, loser, deadbeat.
“Well, thanks for the advice and listening,” he told him, pushing his paid off bill to Nekota. “I’m gonna head out for the night. Gotta figure out what to say.”
Dinner with Utano seemed more like an inquisition. Now out of an environment where her co-workers could eavesdrop, she grilled you on what happened after she left last week.
“I just kissed him. That’s all!”
“Yeah, but why?”
“Because I wanted to!” You said, exasperated. The woman could be persistent when it came to matters of the heart outside of marriage. “Maybe I wanted to do something reckless to feel alive? He’s good-looking and nice and the mood was just right,” you gestured wildly, “I don’t know!”
Apparently that was an acceptable answer.
Her eyes darkened as her voice lowered, looks solemn as she spoke. “I’m just concerned that you don’t realize who you’re messing around with.”
“Is he scary?” You asked in all seriousness. He didn’t give that vibe at all, but you were known to have been deceived by men too many times in the past.
Utano tried to think of the proper word to describe Uramichi. He wasn’t scary, but just… dark? Jaded? They felt close to what she was trying to say but not quite. Unable to think of the word, she just answered with a simple no.
“He can be… a little intense.”
You sighed, “Is that so? Intense like…?” You mentioned that guy you went on two dates with a few years back. Utano shook her head no. You gave her another example of some weirdo you casually dated. Again, it was a no.
“Then what’s the fuss about? I’m gonna text him when I get home so we can move on.”
You were sweating, realizing how fucking stupid you sounded. You were forced to live with your foolishness because Uramichi had that utterly diabolic feature that showed when he read your text. He apparently read it immediately after you sent it, and it’d been nearly two hours since without a response. It was difficult fighting the urge to check your phone every ten minutes, so you gave in, somehow embarrassing yourself further with each peek at the one-sided text thread.
Ding!
Nearly throwing your phone across the room, you weren’t sure if you were relieved or afraid about him finally responding.
Hi, I usually get off work around 4 - 5 pm most days. My next day off isn’t until Sunday though, and I already have plans. Is tomorrow too soon? I can text you when I get off work 〃◉ᴗ◉〃
Agonizing over what emoji to send, he settled on that one, hoping that Nekota’s advice would work, as shitty as it was.
Wow, you text very cutely. As expected of a taiso no oniisan. I’ll be waiting for your text then. Good night.
“No, it’s actually not fine. I have an appointment after work,” Uramichi said for the sixth time in a row. He was getting dragged into another task unrelated to his own again.
Left alone in the merchandising department’s office, he texted you that he had to work overtime today.
And he used that same excuse for the rest of the week.
Here he was telling the kids about taking responsibility for their actions and yet he couldn’t even maintain a small commitment to meet up with you! What an utterly despicable oniisan he was.
And it was at that moment that he remembered the lesson that Iketeru and Utano were teaching the kids through song: If you break a commitment, that’s called being flakey. That yes for next time might just turn into a maybe~
Uramichi sighed, deciding that it’d be best to meet up with you on Sunday.
“It’s weird, right?” Usahara whispered to Kumatani and Iketeru. “Dude’s been on his phone so much lately, but everyone he talks to is here?”
“Is it that difficult to imagine me having a life outside of work?” Uramichi asked, approaching them.
Everyone looked away. What normally would have resulted in anger was postponed as a beep from his phone caught his attention. He turned away from them to read it.
I’m free anytime after 3. Let’s meet at the tea place near OK Market.
Good afternoon ☼ ◉‿◉ I’m about to leave, and I’ll text you once I’m there! Ok
You were so used to Uramichi’s cute style of texting that you had to fight back the visceral reaction to communicating with him in-person. His voice sounded smoother than you remembered and there was something pleasant about listening to his even tone as he greeted you from inside the store.
“Order whatever you want,” you told him as you queued up in line. “It’s on me.”
Settling into a secluded corner, you both relished the brief respite you got from the heat and humidity. Naturally both of you ordered something iced to beat the weather.
“How was work?” You asked him, then took a quick sip of your drink after. “It seems like you’re in a busy season, huh?”
It’d been so long since someone asked Uramichi how work was. Was his niece the last one who asked when he visited his sister’s family a few months ago? Everyone he hung out with already knew how work was because he worked with them. How depressing.
“Sort of,” he said vaguely. “I can’t complain though.” More like he didn’t want to complain too much and bore you.
“Aw, it’s fine if you do want to complain though,” you reassured him, “after all…”
After all, what? After all, you kissed him and he might have hated it? After all, you kissed him and he wanted you to take responsibility by publicly apologizing to him? Your head spun as you realized how weird you sounded.
“After all,” you cleared your throat, “I was the one who asked you about work in the first place.”
“It’s fine,” Uramichi quickly shut you down. “So what did you want to talk about?”
Luckily you chose a more quiet tea shop so there’d be limited witnesses to your humiliation. “Well, the kiss…” you fumbled, “I wanted to apologize for kissing you. I was having a good time while we were drinking–which is no excuse by the way–and I thought you were funny and cute and–ugh, what I’m trying to say is that I’m sorry if you hated it and were disgusted by my behavior. I’ll take responsibility by doing whatever it takes to make it right with you.”
Daring to look back at Uramichi, the summer sun highlighted his hair in gold despite the window between them. He looked at you with amusement.
“...and what if I didn’t hate that kiss as much as you thought?”
There you went, trying to process what he had meant. Uramichi was used to see your face animated, voice fluctuating, that it was odd to see you so still and quiet.
“Then I guess I’d kiss you again,” you admitted before adding, “if you wanted to.”
It was Uramichi’s turn to be embarrassed. His plan had backfired. You looked so flustered in your apology that you didn’t seem to hear him saying that you could stop. It was the only thing he could think of to lighten the mood. He had intended it as a joke, not a serious answer. Couldn’t you hear that in his voice? …Unless you were the one that was joking? Well shit, his embarrassment turned to shame, then spiraled into depression.
“Well, I guess your silence means that you don’t want to, huh?” You laughed off the hurt of putting yourself out there and getting rejected. Did he set you up as part of your punishment?
“No,” he said, “I want to. I… just wasn’t sure if you were serious or not.”
“...oh.”
You were regretting how secluded your spot was as the reality of both your words sunk in. It was a tight little space, and all you needed to do was lean across just a little bit and…
Finishing off your drink, you stood, fighting against the sexual tension that kept you two glued to your seats.
“I’m glad we talked things out,” you said quickly, giving him a bow. “I have to go now.”
So suddenly? “Where are you going?” he asked.
You tried to think of a quick excuse, looking outside for inspiration. A grandmother walked by with a bag full of daikon.
“Grocery shopping!” You said until you realized how that made you look. Did you set up the meeting place for your own convenience? OK Market was right beside the tea shop. “I really wanna make curry today.”
Uramichi perked up. “Oh, me too!”
‘Me too’ as in he was going to the grocery store, or ‘me too' as in he wanted to make curry? He thought it’d be a good excuse to spend more time together until he remembered that he told you that he was busy today. Would you think that these were the big plans that he had?
Opening your mouth, he expected the worst.
“Should we… go together then?” You shyly suggested. “We’re going to the same place anyway.”
Despite its name, OK Market exceeded expectations and was the premier grocery store of the neighborhood, having Japanese staples as well as a solid selection of international items. You grabbed a basket for the two of you.
Despite his agreement to go with you, Uramichi trailed behind you, as if he was reluctant to be there. You felt bad and tried to make him feel more at ease.
“So how do you like your curry, Omota?” You asked, perusing the vegetable aisle first. You had to remind yourself to get two of each veg–potatoes, onions, and carrots–since you were shopping for more than just your usual self.
“It doesn’t really matter,” he said, finally edging closer to you.
“What?” You laughed, dropping the necessary veggies into the basket. Earlier Uramichi had taken it from you, and now it acted as a barrier between you. “I guess you’re easy to please then.”
He looked down, unable to help that he didn’t have many preferences. Would it have been better to say that he liked all versions of curry?
Giving him a glance, you realized that your words had gone over his head. You thought you were being obvious. You even strategically placed the vegetables in a way that would show off your intentions. A particularly thick carrot laid in-between two onions.
Smiling to offset your internal sigh, you said, “Katsu curry it is then!” before heading to the spice and frozen food aisles.
After his earlier response, you figured he probably didn’t have a preferred roux brand either. You liked to mix brands anyway to get a better flavor.
“Hey,” Uramichi started as you looked for any brands that might be on sale, “why don’t you call me by my name?”
Did he not like his surname? You wondered, not realizing how closely he stood behind you.
Objectively, you knew he was handsome since you met him. The sunlight hitting him at the tea shop reminded you of that fact too. Yet there was something about the look in his eyes and the way he leaned into you that made you self-conscious. Right! It was as if you were in an otome game and he was the main lead that you were struggling to win over!
Unsure of what he wanted, you asked, “Did you… want me to call you Uramichi oniisan?”
It was the only logical answer you could have come up with. Even Utano called him that! So he was probably more comfortable being called that than his last name.
Maybe he was suffering from heat stroke. There was no way his face could feel this hot this often in the summer. Did he really have to say it?
“You called me Michi before.”
His eyes reminded you of a puppy pouting. So cute! …But not cute enough to make you forget about your horrible behavior that night.
“You can call me that if you want,” he said, “ornot. Uramichi is fine, but so is Omota.” He felt like Usahara, and he was grossing himself out. He tried to redeem himself by saying that he didn’t want to force any social closeness at all if you weren’t comfortable.
Trying to forget about the embarrassing nickname you had given him, you missed the rare occurrence of the Uramichi Omota spazzing out. All you could think about was that you didn’t want to call him anything at all.
Turning back to the boxes of curry roux, you said nonchalantly, “Okay, oniisan. You can call me by my name too.”
Realizing what you said, you dropped the box of roux in your hand, subsequently knocking down several more boxes.
“Are you okay?” Uramichi asked while using your first name. You were convinced that you were in a slice-of-life otome. How else could you explain this incredibly hot, fit, nice, and single man being interested in? You crouched down to pick up the fallen boxes, wishing you could crawl into a hole.
“I’m fine!” You said, voice chipper despite your thoughts. “While I’m picking these up, why don’t you get us a cart? There’s more sales than I thought today and I’d hate to have you carry something so heavy!”
Dutifully, Uramichi left to exchange the basket for a cart while you recovered your senses.
“Hey! Hey! Hey!” A little girl whispered, tugging on her older brother’s shirt. Uramichi tried to walk past them. There’s no way they were talking about him, right?
“Stop staring, Akane!” Her sibling hissed. “That’s not the guy from that TV show you watch. It’s clearly some dude trying to make dinner with his girlfriend.”
He pointed to the direction Uramichi was walking in as proof, unable to see that he was clearly wrong by both of your awkward posturing.
“You really don’t have to walk me back to my place,” you insisted, grabbing your bag of groceries from him. In the end, you were pleased that he had gone with you. You saved a decent amount of change by taking advantage of sales. No food would be wasted either! It was a win despite the hardships (getting embarrassed on several occasions).
“It’s fine. I don’t have any plans,” he told you, forgetting again, that he originally told you that he was busy.
“Same,” you sighed, before lamenting about how tomorrow was already Monday.
“After meeting with you, I was going to watch that one show on NipponTV that everyone’s been talking about. I don’t really like it, but it gives me something to talk about with my co-workers,” you admitted.
He laughed, “I’ve been watching it too and feel the same way.”
“Are you planning on watching tonight’s episode?” You asked, an idea in mind. Your heart had already forgotten all the shame it had gone through today. “You should stay over then! We can have curry for dinner and watch the show.”
And for the second time today, Uramichi found himself accepting your offer.
The inside of your apartment was an unknown place to a bachelor over 30. Uramichi took in all the sights from the neatly organized shoes in the entryway to the feminine touches of florals and personal interests.
“Bathroom’s to the left, if you want to freshen up,” you said before taking his bag to set his groceries on the counter. “I have a patio too, if you want to smoke.”
After he returned from both a smoke and freshening up, he met you in the kitchen. You delegated him to rinsing the rice and cooking it as you continued to chop the veggies for the roux.
“I’m happy you agreed to dinner,” you told him, in-between cuts before heating up oil on a large pot. You threw in the onions when you deemed it hot enough. “It’s nice to share a meal with people at home every once in a while. It makes things less depressing when you live alone.”
You threw in the carrots and potatoes next after the onions browned, stirring for a second before adding water to boil. You glanced back to see him drinking the glass of water you left out for him.
It was more than nice, Uramichi wished he had the courage to say, this was like a forgotten dream. He had grown so used to a dark, empty home. All of the colors, scents, and smells of yours was perfect. His ears tried to pick up the different sounds: you humming softly to yourself, the boiling of the pot, the sizzle of the chicken katsu getting fried.
“Yeah, I’m happy that I can have dinner with you.”
Checking the settings on the stove, you made sure that it wasn’t on high heat as ‘with you’ echoed in-between your ears.
“I’ll make some extra servings so you can take them home too,” you beamed.
“Ugh, I’m so full,” you groaned, taking the spot beside Uramichi on your couch. He edged to the other end to give you more room.
“Thanks for dinner, by the way. I haven’t had a home-cooked meal in a while.”
“You’re a busy man,” you tried to justify, getting what he was hinting at. It was easy to fall for those ready-made meals at the market when you’re single. “I’m glad you liked it though.”
The tension from the tea shop crept in as you flipped through TV channels to find that show. You sat in silence trying to focus on your task instead of the man beside you. Uramichi, on the other hand, found you far more interesting than the screen.
With your eyes trained on the screen ahead, you had this furrowed look of concentration. If it was any other setting, he’d call you studios or serious. At home, you looked silly, knowing that you were focusing so hard on finding the correct channel.
He thought about earlier. You wanted to kiss him, and he wanted to kiss you. But when was the perfect time? It could be now, he thought, as you changed channels. Or maybe it was best for later?
“NipponTV is on Channel 29,” he told you, taking you out of your misery, “and The Silly Circumstances and Conditions that I Met Your Parent Under comes on at six.”
You hummed, “Ah, we have another half-hour until then.”
Another half-hour to watch a different show. Another half-hour to grab dessert. Another half-hour to down a beer. Another half-hour to fuck.
Nope!
No, no, no, no, no.
You pushed the thoughts out of your head before your imagination would run wild. Sweet, innocent Uramichi was sitting beside you, oblivious to your lewdness.
The sound of the opening credits took your attention. Uramichi was already on his phone, showing you his screen that said that tonight’s episode would start earlier because it was the season finale.
“Oh… That’s great.”
Settling back into the couch, you spread your arm across the space between you and Uramichi. Your hand laid out barely a touch away from his, open and inviting. Uramichi curled his fingers in deep thought before relaxing them again. He gave you a side-glance but you weren’t looking. Then, smoothly before he lost courage, he took your hand in his.
The rough cover of Uramichi’s hand on yours made you turn his way. He was looking at the screen intently, but there was only an ad about another drama on. Slyly, you scooted closer so both your arms could relax, being careful so you wouldn’t break his grip.
Beside him now, you smiled when you saw how red his ears were.
Pushing a bag of to-go containers towards him, you said apologetically, “I hope you don’t mind. These were all that I had.” The set you put the katsu curry in was purple with little cats.
“It’s fine,” he waved off. Secretly, Uramichi was touched that you put such care into packing up the food for him. It was as if you were sending him off to work with some homemade bentos–except it really wasn’t and he tried to not look at your actions too closely.
Expecting him to leave right away, he surprised you when he turned around, mentioning that he forgot something.
His mouth met yours in a heated kiss. This was the opportunity he was waiting for. And this time, he was the one leaning on your door as you slotted yourself between his legs, pleased with what you felt there.
There wasn’t an unexpected noise that tore you apart. It was the need for air instead.
“Good night,” he said, giving you one more peck.
Uramichi was pleased with his day until he got home, taking the food containers out of the bag. He forgot that he asked you to put extra onions in the curry. The Uramichi of the past lacked the foresight of knowing that you’d kiss. Now he worried that his breath might have reeked. Even if the kiss was brief, it could have left a bad impression. His immediate reaction was to apologize (even though he forgot that you ate the same thing as him, making your breath the same).
Ding! His screen lit up on your text thread before he could even send anything.
Thanks for today, Michi ♡ The kiss was a very pleasant surprise
He was relieved. His onion-breath didn’t seem to bother you. And! You called him by his name, even adding a heart at the end. He was worried for nothing.
You’re welcome 〃◉ᴗ◉〃We should do this again
“What a relief,” you sighed, grateful for two things. One–Uramichi responded quickly instead of letting you suffer on ‘Read.’ Two–He wanted to see you again.
Ok

Attention: This publication has sensitive topics, talking a little about the current situation of CC Forever and my position in relation to future posts. If you don't feel comfortable, please skip it.
------------------------------ I confess that, because I wasn't on Twitter VERY much, I wasn't up to date, but I started seeing posts here and decided that I needed to update myself a little on the situation. Apparently, tweets were unearthed, with comments and interactions'' from Forever with a minor, for those who don't know, in Brazil, under 18 you are a minor. At the time he must have been 19 or 20 years old. Despite understanding that people change over the years, technically, he committed a serious crime for which, it appears he never received a type of punishment, it appears that it was kept in the closet'' and has now been unearthed. So, it's a delicate topic, so I understand those who no longer want updates on it. Now, for those who were waiting for a statement, he opened a live to talk about the subject, but people were disappointed, especially the way he dealt with the topic, he said that they distorted his tweets, so he deleted them (in fact more than 900 tweets disappeared), and then said that he will sue the people who made a thread on Twitter with his posts. Honestly, I decided to go after these supposed tweets, and to be honest, the things I read were a bit…bizarre? I understand why people are not comfortable, I don't know how the case will go, but apparently the ´´victim´´ exists, he made strange tweets and she was indeed a minor. So I think Forever saying they distorted his tweets wasn´t the best argument. Overall, I didn't find it a really satisfactory statement. And honestly, some of their fanatics, because it's not a fan thing, it's a fanatic thing, are making the situation worse by trying to erase the problem, wanting to use other CCs' mistakes to defend Forever, they just forget that if the other CCs have already recanted, or even ``paid for their mistakes''. They are not going to save Forever by using other people as a shield, especially since the Forever case happened years ago, BUT it has now been discovered even by the Brazilians themselves, and it is something that is STILL open, there has not been any kind of resolution and, the worst part, is that it can still be considered a serious crime depending on the justice system, because apparently there will be a legal fight. He said he hired lawyers.
What will this result in and how will it affect his presence in the QSMP?
Let's find out, I just ask that you be patient with Quackity, the team and even the others CC´s, many of them probably don't know anything because they are on vacation, and even if they don't want to get involved that's their right since, because currently, they are not actually involved in the problem. I honestly don't even know how the information will reach them, especially those who were closest to Forever. I believe that, just as the community is in shock, not wanting to believe, whoever is his closest friend will also be in denial. In conclusion: Because I was also uncomfortable, I'm going to avoid talking about qForever and Forever as much as possible in future posts, unless there's no way out, after all, the sad thing is that he made a memorable character in Lore, and it seemed like he was going to have more about him. Now I don't know what happens. Anyway, I hope you take care of yourselves, don't stress, and if you want to take some time off social media, I recommend it.

Announcing my new fic: Heaven's Gate
Tumblr media
Heaven's Gate is a long oneshot starring Daryl Dixon and a gender neutral reader character, featuring angst, hurt and comfort, and some fluff.
NOW POSTED!!!!!
In this fic, you and Daryl get separated when the prison is attacked by the Governor, and though you both believe the other person is dead, you two end up finding each other at the most unexpected time. This fic is about hope, the human connection, and how love is about more than romance - it's about how people take pieces of each other and grow with them, never truly able to forget each other.
This fic is going to be a longer oneshot that is currently about 15k long - and will likely be longer by the time it has gone through editing. It is 80% of the way done in my drafts (not including editing), and I hope to have it posted by April 30th - which is a tentative date that may change. If you want to know for certain when the fic is posted, you can follow me here and turn on notifcations or you can subscribe to me on AO3 to get an email notification when the fic is posted. I am really excited to share this fic with all of you 💖.
Below is a short preview of the fic - so if you wanna get a better sense for the upcoming fic you can read it. If you enjoy this preview and you're excited for what the fic holds, please let me know!
Also an important note: with my gender neutral reader fics, I don't use any references to gender whatsoever (this is not a 'GN afab' fic). And in this fic in particular, I didn't use any pronouns (other than you/yours) or gendered terms for the reader - and at points where the terms they/them were used, I made it purposefully vague so that the dialogue could be referring to the whole group as 'they' or just the reader. I want my gender neutral fics to be enjoyed by everyone - cis women, cis men, gender non conforming people, trans people - every kind of fanfiction reader.
I am making this post for two major reasons - one, I want to generate as much excitement for oneshots as there is for series. Especially for oneshots that are longer than 10k because those take a lot of time and effort. If a series is like a TV show, then long oneshots are like a feature film. And two - nobody seems to read my pinned post where I announce new upcoming fics anyway, so I might as well make posts like these so that people can know what to expect from me. And hopefully you guys will get excited about my upcoming fics this way. And when I tag these posts with the relevant tags, people interested in those topics can follow me to anticipate the fic if they want to read it.
Heaven's Gate (Daryl Dixon x GN!Reader) - Preview
Preview Word Count: 1,800
Warnings: no pronouns used for the reader other than you/yours; there are major plot spoilers for The Walking Dead if you are watching the show for the first time - spoilers for Season 2 all the way up through Season 5; typical warnings for TWD - mentions of death, emotional despair; all of these themes and emotions are expanded upon in the full fic.
...
“Daryl!”
You called out his name as you jogged up toward the stables, and he stopped in his tracks, waiting for you to catch up with him.
“Daryl, hey.” You greeted him with a small smile. “Rick told me you’d be up here.”
He grunted in reply. “Yeah. ‘m gonna take a horse out. Make better ground t’ look for the girl.”
Your stomach clenched at him mentioning her.
The group was supposed to be headed out towards Fort Bennet - supposed to be finding refuge at the hopefully safe military base. Instead, you were all setting up camp at the very reluctant Hershel Greene’s farm, not straying too far from where you had lost one of your own in the hopes of finding her.
But that was why you had come to talk to Daryl in the first place.
Sophia had become like a sister to you in the few short months that you had known her, and though it was unlikely, you were hopeful that she was alive - that she would be found. And you did believe that Daryl would be the one to find her.
“How’s the trail?” You asked. “Do you think you know which way she headed? You - you can be honest with me.”
You hesitated on the last part. But you did want his honesty more than anything. And you knew that he was never one to sugar-coat things. Even if you hadn’t told him that, he would have given you the truth anyway.
“Trail’s a little muddy.” He said, doling out that honesty. “‘m gon follow the river. It’s her biggest landmark out there, so she’ll probably be somewhere around it.”
You smiled at him. And then, you remembered -
“I brought you something.” You noted, reaching for the back pocket of your jeans.
Daryl watched with quiet curiosity as you pulled out a piece of paper - when you showed it to him, he quickly realized that it was a half-used set of stickers.
“These are some of the stickers that I got for Sophia,” You explained. “My mom always used to tell me that cardinals are good luck.”
You peeled off a sticker of a bright red bird - as much of a nature man as he was, Daryl was never one for bird watching. He didn’t care about identifying certain species of birds unless he could shoot and eat them. But he quickly reasoned that this must be the cardinal that you spoke of.
“Give me your bow.” You said, shoving the rest of the sticker sheet into your back pocket again and holding out your hand expectantly.
“I don’t need no luck.” He replied, voice full of snark.
“Just give it.” You replied - equally snarky, equally stubborn.
Daryl sighed and tugged his bow’s strap over his head, presenting it to you. You placed the sticker on the bow’s handle, in one of the places where it wasn’t as worn down from him holding it.
“There,” You said, giving it back to him with a smile. “Now you’re all set.”
It was more for you than it was for him - a token of good faith and protection. The idea that you could do something to bring Sophia home when you felt so powerless.
Daryl let out a harsh sound - somewhere between a laugh and a sarcastic snort as he walked away. “Thanks.”
“You’re welcome,” You replied brightly, edging on sarcastic once again.
…
When the prison was attacked, Daryl got out with Beth.
He almost couldn’t stand her bright eyes, big eyes staring at him, waiting for answers - her chirpy little voice, prodding at him, demanding that they ‘follow the trail’ and go look for everyone else. Telling him that he was a tracker, that he could find them. As if it was his damn responsibility just because he had the skills to get it done.
It was all too reminiscent of you, telling him that he could find Sophia. That it wasn’t an ‘if’ - it was a ‘when’.
Perhaps that was what got him off his ass and doing what he did best - reading the dirt.
“What’re you doin’?” He asked, staring at the girl curiously as she went to one of the bushes and rushed to pick berries from branches. Had she not gotten enough to eat that morning?
“They’ll be hungry when we find them.” Beth told him confidently.
Of course. That undefeatable streak of optimism.
Daryl knew that blueberries weren’t your favorite - but he should have something to give you. He would be too busy tracking the footprints to properly hunt for squirrels or rabbits and clean them for you. So, he found himself pulling a large bandana from his back pocket and offering it to Beth - something to hold the berries in to keep them safe as an offering for you.
“Here.” He grunted at her.
Beth smiled at him.
It was one of the last smiles she gave him for a long time.
When they came across those bodies splayed out beside the tracks - any sense of hope was crushed inside of him. The picture you had gifted him was heavy inside his breast pocket, and he hated that tears threatened his eyes - even if he knew that none of those bodies belonged to you. There was no trace of you there.
The days started to blur into each other, and Daryl couldn’t get you off his mind.
One hazy evening, as they both stared into the fire with dead looks on their faces, he took the drawing out of his pocket and unfolded it.
For good luck.
He didn’t believe in luck - because it didn’t exist. The world was fucked. Nobody was lucky. You and your good luck were dead.
He tossed the drawing into the fire, and it was only a moment, when the corner of it had barely caught, when Beth snatched it out. She stomped on it with her boot, successfully saving it.
“Don’t do that.” She hissed at him.
Daryl snatched it from her, and crumbled it up, tossing it aside. He let out a grunt, but refused to look at her.
“That was from Y/N, wasn’t it?” She posed.
He could feel her imposing stare as she waited for an answer.
He didn’t give her one.
“You can’t burn them just because you think they’re dead.” Beth sighed. “You can’t burn up memories. We’re gonna find them. Y/N, and Maggie, and Michonne, and - and everyone.”
Daryl scoffed. “Yeah. Cause that’s gon’ happen.”
Beth rolled her eyes, but didn’t speak any further on the subject.
After she had fallen asleep - when the fire was dull, Daryl picked up the crumbled ball and smoothed it out again. The charred corner hadn’t even touched your bird. He felt like a fool doing it, just as much of a fool as he accused you of being, but he folded it neatly - well, as neatly as he could - and then put it back into his breast pocket again.
But that was the thing - Daryl wished that he could. He wished he could burn up those memories.
That you would stop haunting him. Then he wouldn’t have to feel like this anymore.
…
“Can I see it again?” Beth asked, suddenly changing the subject.
Again, this was a confusing little whip for Daryl - something that clearly only made sense to Beth in her own drunken mind.
“See what?” Daryl replied.
“The picture.” Beth answered. “The one you tried to burn.”
Daryl felt a pinch of guilt surge over him at the thought. Oddly enough, this was the one time he would be willing to admit that Beth was right - you can’t burn up memories.
“It was Y/N, wasn’t it? That drew it.” Beth added on, her words slurring slightly - she lifted the mason jar of booze to her lips again and Daryl was tempted to snatch it away from her.
Instead, he found his hand drifting to his breast pocket and reaching to take the picture out. He presented it to Beth, who put down her drink to unfold it - she stared at the picture fondly under the brightness of the moonlight, tracing a finger over the slightly faded details.
“You know… my daddy used to tell me that a cardinal is like an angel.” Beth said, recognizing the bird from her father’s teachings on the farm. “Someone - someone you loved who passed away, watching over you from heaven.”
“Y/N said they was good luck.” Daryl replied.
Beth shrugged. “Same thing.”
It was this thought that kept Daryl going for a long time. The idea that even if you were dead, you were watching over him somehow. He sure as hell didn’t believe that someone like Merle would be an angel - but you, you definitely were. And even if it was a waste of your eternal life, you would be determined to watch over Daryl - to make sure that he was safe, well-guided.
You would make sure that he was lucky.
That thought alone carried him through the long journey to D.C.
It was something that lingered in his mind as the group hunkered down in a random barn - as he spotted something carved into one of the wooden beams holding the place up. Even though it wasn’t colored, he could have sworn that the long tail and pointed head of the silhouette indicated that the carving was meant to be cardinal. Of course.
Who knows who had stayed in the barn before them - if it had been left there by a weary traveler, or even put there by someone who had used the barn before the turn. But Daryl could have sworn that you - your ghost, your angelic hand - had led him to this very spot.
It was a thought that gave him strength as he held the doors up - helped to keep them from caving in while the storm raged outside.
Your luck, and your damn bird - you would keep him safe.
When they reached Alexandria, and they were forced to give up their weapons - Daryl spotted your bird perched on the fence. Bright red, with its pointy head cocked sideways at him. All too knowing, staring at him like it wanted to say something. Just like it had been when he had fallen off the cliff out in the woods when he had been looking for Sophia.
Oddly enough, it made him feel safe giving up his crossbow - perching it on top of the fully loaded cart of weapons before the awkward, bespeckled woman wheeled it away.
Rick was still weary of this new place after Terminus, and Daryl understood. He followed Rick’s lead. Especially because he couldn’t tell Rick that he had a good feeling about this place because he saw a damn bird.
But even if it was just in spirit, he felt you there. He knew that it was the home you had chosen for them.

Hello! I don't know if this is where I'm supposed to ask... About your Villain's day off post, I don't see any with that character so.. Could you please write fluff hurt with comfort for a female reader with Carpaccio Luo Yang pretty please? 🥹
Curse Cupid and win a date
Carpaccio Luo-Yang x Fem Reader
Request made by Anon, I hope you like it and I'm sorry for the delay
Not to mention that this was my third request about Carpaccio, he is gaining a lot of fans hehehe~
I was really inspired by this one, maybe reading stories about boyfriends and your best friends on Reddit helped...
Genre: Hurt from ComfortWarning: Swearing (Just once), bad boyfriends
Summary: (Name) wanted to go on a Valentine's Day date with her boyfriend, but it seems like he would rather spend time with his friend making her decide to break up, so she went crying about her terrible romantic life, but it seems like someone it was there... But don't worry!!! He asks her out!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was supposed to be a perfect day....
Today was Valentine's Day and (Name) wanted to spend time with her boyfriend on a very romantic day!
But.....He was busy....with his best girl friend....
Apparently they have a ritual of spending Valentine's Day together and they do it to the letter.
And it seems that even though he has a girlfriend he PREFERS TO SPEND VALENTINE'S DAY WITH A FRIEND, VALENTINE'S DAY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT BOYFRIENDS AND NOT FRIENDS IF YOU WERE TO SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FRIEND IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON BEST FRIEND'S DAY *ahem* (Name) couldn't believe it
And of course she is not a girlfriend that prevents her boyfriend from having female friends or even a female best friend if he himself understands that his girlfriend is a priority.
But the problem was that he put his best friend first in everything.
Do we have a date at the amusement park? Let me call my friend since she's sad. Is there an item that (Name) really wants? I'm going to buy it for my friend since she deserves it. Shall we go shopping? Let him call her to accompany him and blah, blah, blah
(Name) couldn't take this anymore and to make matters worse, every time she vented about it he responded
"You're just being very dramatic" He says while staring at you with disdain
Here was (Name) and his boyfriend in an Easton hallway
(Name) wanted to spend Valentine's Day with her boyfriend but he was busy with her best friend, again...
And when she went to complain, he just says this
"Now if you leave me alone, I'll go see Amy" He says as he turns his back to (Name)
"If you're going out with her today, we're done!" (Name) says angrily as she sees her boyfriend stop
Maybe he would change his mind-
"Don't be like that, I'll take you on a date later" And that's all he says without turning to her and leaves
'Forget it...he hasn't changed his mind...' (Name) thinks about staring at her now ex-boyfriend
"We're done!!!" (Name) screams at the top of her lungs to make the whole school hear her and so she turns around and runs away trying to hold back her tears
And now here was (Name) crouched in a place forgotten by the students crying on her knees as she remembered the past events
She was a mess, there was a lot of crying that perhaps could fill a river, there was snot and snot that came down from her nose and went into her mouth making her spit and cough to get it out.
She looked like a crybaby only a thousand times worse
Suddenly (Name) lifts her head from her knees and faces the sky and tries to catch her breath.
"CUPID I HATE YOU!!!!" (Name) scream as soon as she catches her breath and continues to cry
"*SNIF* ARE YOU SHOVING THOSE ARROWS WHERE THE FUCK? *SNIF* DID YOU KILL YOURSELF OR SOMETHING?!?! *COUGH*" (Name) continues while trying to get the phlegm and snot out of his mouth "YOU USED YOUR ARROWS TO DID YOU KILL YOURSELF?!?!? *SNIF* *COUGH* *COUGH* *SNIF* AHHHHHHHJHH" (Name) still didn't realize that someone was getting close to her
"...(Name)....?" An unknown male voice appears causing the (h/c) girl to turn her head that could overcome the speed of light
Standing in the flesh was Carpaccio Luo-Yang with an expression that could resemble surprise as he stared at (Name)'s shrunken, crying form.
This was the worst thing that could happen to (Name), a close friend, facing her in her vulnerable state.
Suddenly the surprised expression changes to seriousness as soon as he sees (Name)'s condition.
"What happened...?" Carpaccio says in an angry tone as his face deepens into a frown.
(Name) trembles when she hears that tone of voice coming from him, and of course she's seen him angry about other things but this was completely different
It seemed like he was going to do something much worse than death to the point where his victim was begging to die.
"(Name)..." His face is suddenly closer to hers, making her jump in surprise and fear so she is a little bit away from him
Carpaccio didn't seem to like this little distance but he didn't say anything and continued to stare at her, wanting an answer.
"I....I broke up with him....." (Name) finally says something that surprises Carpaccio by the fact that she is single
"But why did you break up with him on Valentine's Day?" Carpaccio asks as he tilts his head to the side
If it weren't for the moment she would tease him by calling him kitten
"He was an asshole the whole time so I decided I wasn't going to accept it anymore and I broke up with him" (Name) summarizes
Carpaccio knew that (Name) wouldn't delve deeper into this subject so he decided to accept it
"And you're crying....because of him?" Carpaccio says as he pats (Name) on the back
"And I was going to cry for a man?!?!?" (Name) scream in disbelief and stare at Carpaccio with eyes that looked like he said the stupidest thing on the entire planet
Carpaccio is surprised by the repeated scream and looks at him with confusion.
(Name) realizing that Carpaccio only asked out of caution for their feelings to feel bad about yelling at him
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scream..." (Name) says as she sighs and puts her face on her knees, hiding her expression from Carpaccio
"It's just that... my relationships never work out, you know" She says in a sad voice without showing her face to Carpaccio "Every time I'm in a relationship something always happens and I realize that I've deluded myself once again. Like me I know that people have lives, friends and family outside of relationships, but it seems that people forget that their girlfriend is a priority, that I am a priority when we date, but every time I vent or try to talk about it, I always It would be dramatic, petty, I'm creating things, they always seem to want to make me the villain?!?" She raises her face and faces Carpaccio and then she raises her hands dramatically
"....But I don't want to be the villain...I just want someone to love me, respect me and understand my feelings or at least try to understand" (Name) continues as she lowers her hands and looks at the ground with sadness "I just want someone who every time I explain that I feel uncomfortable with something or someone and I tell them, they don't get angry and at least put some boundaries with the person and explain why they are so close to it , I don't want them to end a friendship of years unless it's necessary for their health.... but I want them to set limits.... Is that too much to ask?" (Name) says then she decides to stop staring at the ground and look at Carpaccio with sad and frustrated eyes because of this
Carpaccio was surprised by (Name)'s look, he didn't like it
He didn't like it when (Name) was sad because of something, some might know (Name) as someone who liked to get attention, but she wasn't like that at all, (Name) was a sweet person, always trying to make everyone's day. others are amazing, he saw it first hand
"I don't consider you the villain" Suddenly Carpaccio says as he takes his hand and strokes (Name)'s hair, surprising her "For me you will never be a villain, even if you are one I wouldn't mind, you are a kind person who You enchanted me from our first meeting and after that day I could never even stop thinking about you, I often spent days without sleeping or eating properly just because I tried to find the reason why you were so captivating and without realizing it I started to get closer of you but I never found the answer until I realized that it was love and admiration for you that I felt" Carpaccio declares while bringing his forehead closer to (Name) without breaking eye contact
"And because of this love I felt also came the pain of seeing you cry or sad for something or someone who doesn't deserve your sadness, this made me realize why others fear love, because of the possibility of having a broken heart something I've never had" Carpaccio says, closing his eyes and then with his other hand holding (Name)'s hand gently, this act was making her blush even more along with the declaration of love "That's why I'm going to be honest with you.. ." Suddenly he moves away from (Name) without letting go of her hand and then he opens his eyes and looks at her
"Would you agree to go on a date with me?" He asks the question
(Name) was speechless... she didn't know how to react to this confession of love she received from her friend
That was a surprise in itself, one of the most beautiful boys at the academy declaring herself in a place forgotten by students and teachers at a bad time in her life.
"Carpaccio...." (Name) says "I'll be honest with you, I don't consider myself ready for a relationship at the moment" She says while still looking at Carpaccio for an answer
Carpaccio seems to shrink sadly but doesn't seem to admit it
"However, I want to be able to be prepared to have a relationship with you" She continues surprising Carpaccio "Even if you have always maintained a neutral expression or consider the people around you weak, I can still see a sweet side of you. For I know we can work this out, I don't know how but I feel like we can, but at the moment I'm not ready to have a relationship because it's already ended and it would be weird to start seeing someone after it ends" (Name) speak while Carpaccio has to agree with the last part "Not to mention we don't really know each other's preferences, and I don't want us to be in a relationship just for fun, I want it to be real!" She exclaim
"That's why I want to go on a date and get to know you better" (Name) finishes, surprising Carpaccio
".... So that's a yes to going out with me?" He asks, trying his best to hide his excitement.
"Yes!!" She exclaims with confidence
Carpaccio didn't seem to express it but his atmosphere showed that he was very happy that it could work, if he had a tail it would probably be swinging at a speed that exceeded the speed of light
(Name) couldn't help but laugh at the scene "Hey, so let's go on the date?" She asks as she stands up and faces Carpaccio, still sitting, then she extends her hand to him.
Carpaccio willingly takes her hand and gets up so they both leave the place ready to meet.

The Courtship of Peggy Carter (fic coming soon)
When Steve returns to the 1940s, he knows he wants to be with Peggy, but he can't help but worry about how the years they have both lived through have changed them - so he proposes that they start dating and get to know each other again. But Peggy has her own ideas about how their courtship will go, and is a woman determined to get what she wants. Namely Steve. In her bed. Sooner than he seems to be planning to get there.
Happy holidays @margarethcarter! I'm your Secret Santa this year - I'm so sorry your gift is so ridiculously late, but this month has just been incredibly full on. I am hoping to get your gift finished and up soon, but I didn't want to end the year without you getting anything.
You said you prefer post-Endgame time period and mentioned Peggy finding out that Steve's acquired some game since she last saw him, which what inspired this fic, so I hope when it's finally finished you will enjoy it, but in the meantime here is a little preview for you!
***
“And this . . . you being here . . . is it for good? Or do you have to go back?”
Steve held her gaze, serious and steady, the way he always did whenever he wanted her to know that what he was about to say was something he had thought over carefully.
“I’d like it to be. I came back because this place, this time, is where I belong. I wanted to come home, to have the life I never got a chance to have. And I want, very much, for that life to be with you.”
For a moment Peggy felt as if she had forgotten how to breathe, her chest tight and her heart beating painfully hard against her ribs. She opened her mouth to tell him yes, that she wanted a life with him as well, but before the words could form he had brought a finger to her lips to keep her from speaking.
“But,” he continued softly, a tenderness in his expression that made her glow with warmth, “I don’t think that’s a decision either of us should be making right now.”
A faint frown creased Peggy’s forehead. “Why not?”
“Because of how good this feels.”
She couldn’t help quirking an eyebrow, one corner of her mouth curling upwards. “That’s a bad thing, is it?”
Steve chuckled. “No. I just mean . . . I’ve dreamed about being here with you for so long, it would be easy to rush into this. To forget that . . . a lot of time has passed, for both of us. And that we’re probably both different people than we were when I went into the ice.”
Peggy let out a slow breath. Part of her - the part that for the last four years had been filled with grief, sorrow and longing whenever she thought of Steve - was afraid, terrified that this moment of joy in finding him again was going to be cut short, and leave her with nothing but echoing silence of his absence once more. She wanted to cling on to him as tightly as she could, to hold him to her so she didn’t have to face the pain of losing him again.
Another, regrettably more sensible part of her, recognised that what he was saying was true. The four years she had spent being overlooked at the SSR had left their mark as surely as the war had, and now she was reinventing herself again as the Director of SHIELD. She felt very far from the young agent that had worked on Project Rebirth.
And Steve . . . right now she could only guess at the sort of things Steve had lived through, the reasons for the weariness that lurked at the back of his eyes, the sadness  that seemed etched into his face, mingling with his joy when he had asked her if he could finally claim his dance.
“So what are you suggesting?” she asked, forcing a calmness she didn’t entirely feel.
But to her surprise - and a little to her relief - Steve smiled.
“I’m suggesting that we date. Like we would have - should have - if things had gone the way we planned. Get to know each other as we are now. And if after we’ve dated for a while, we’re both sure this is still something we want . . .  well, then we can talk about what’s next.”
Peggy almost wanted to laugh. “Are you telling me you travelled back nearly a century in time just to ask me on a date?”
His smile widened to a grin. “To start with, anyway.”
