i always kind of delight in writing and having a song on repeat that has lyrically NOTHING to do with the subject matter, but the vibe ---
anyway i'm doing a complete overhaul of June, and i'm so excited, and ariana's helping me out
#1993-verse#i've been debating rewriting it for ages and am biting the bullet#i wrote most of it in 2017 and the rest of it when i got back into fibs in 2022 and hadn't written fic in YEARS#and while it was a great way to get back into things it just..could be much better than it currently is#and i like the superposition conceit but i never pulled it off the way i wanted to#SO WE'RE REDUXING IT BABY#the nice thing about NO ONE being in your fandom is i can just directly edit the fic itself and no one will notice#is it gauche to edit directly on A03? or are you supposed to create new fics entirely when you do like significant structural edits?#i don't know andddd don't really care#i ALSO am enchanted with how July and August have helped me understand their relationship and my own writing so much better#i cant wait to post August hahaha i've been sitting on it forever doing edit round after edit round but i'm waiting for summer#1 1 2 3 5 8#if youve read this far then take this as a sign you too should post that self-indulgent thing you have sitting on your drive somewhere#do it for the joy not the kudos <3
