one thing that doesn’t stop amusing me is how edgar and mikey call sly ‘august’ even though he asks them to call him sly. the funniest is when sly tells edman that ‘sly’ is fine twice in that one conversation and edman just. doesn’t.

the notable exception being mustardseed calling him sly.

#i can't wait to see what incidents end up convincing mikey and edgar to switch to 'sly'#like. they both heard 'my friends call me sly' and went 'nah.' which is so funny to me #i think mikey might've called him sly a couple of times? but for the most part it's been august #and the corrections mike in 84 calls him sly which was cute #mustardseed calling him sly though... now is that genuine or was that a way convince michael of his good intentions re: elder hunter #i feel like it's the former and i can back it up to some extent but i am not the most unbiased source when it comes to edgar. oops #woe.begone #e speaks #more of slightly petty edgar. pretty please #edman calls him 'sly' ONCE and that was after getting complimented on his shirt #things went south after that and back to 'august' we go lol
