everything i write is romance-adjacent because i love a pair of perfectly matched freaks but i hate writing romance. so they don't act in a way that's explicitly romantic because they have so many more interesting things going on. but it still kinda reads as a romance

#i mean one of them is more on the romance side of things and the other is more on the other side #and one is directly in the middle #so we've got the full spectrum #''illicit affair between two people that have never gone to therapy in their lives'' to #''woman who wants to die and cannibal who doesn't want to kill her'' to #''illegally hacked android who is more human than she should be gets drowned regularly by a woman who doesn't feel things like she should''#pick your poison #but even with the first one it's so much more interesting when they're not interacting face to face and can only hear the other's voice #if those two had access to therapy the whole story wouldn't be happening they could have been regular people. they basically are #i can't say the same for mrs i bought an illegal android to drown in a bathtub in an apartment i'm hiding from my husband #like therapy could NOT save you. drowning the android in the bathtub won't save you either girl.#persimmon's rambles
