About: Though shy/ quiet at first meeting due to being a little socially awkward, once comfortable with someone he is very affectionate and loving. He is more of an indoor type of person and would rather hang out somewhere inside (preferably even a rather chill and quiet place) than go and be active while getting some fresh air. Of course he wouldn’t decline any offers on spending time outside with someone; but he prefers not to. To be able to get more comfortable with people, he loves to text them a lot first even if they have seen each other in person multiple times already, he feels more comfortable talking via social media etc. as that is what he spends a lot of his time on and that way he’ll be able to think about his response better.

Background:  Born in an average household, Jaehyun grew up as what other people would say ‘a very basic boy; like the guy next door’. He had always been very quiet and reserved, didn’t participate much during social events and any projects at school were better when he made them all by himself compared to when it was a group project. At the age of 17 he started watching videos on youtube, gaming videos, DIY’s, vlogs, anything that was popular to watch, and after a while he decided that he wanted to do that too, so he got himself a camera and started filming whatever he thought was interesting. Days at school, vacations, he made gaming videos as well as videos where he tried out certain DIY’s. People seemed to love his content, and somehow talking to a camera felt a lot less awkward than talking face to face with someone, so the amount of videos he uploaded every week increased and so did his followers. Soon enough he hit the 500k subscribers, which had him crying during a lifestream. In real life he never had the idea that people were entertained with the things he said or did, which he partly understood since he was so socially awkward, but the verification that so many people did enjoy watching and listening to him moved him more than he’d ever dare to admit out loud. Barely after turning 20 he moved out to his own apartment, it wasn’t anything big or special but it felt like it was needed – Jaehyun didn’t want to be limited anymore by his parents telling him he couldn’t record anything between certain hours so moving out was the best option to do, with that came that he had interests in becoming an anonymous camboy, which he actually became after he turned 21. This is also one of the reasons why he’s still very socially awkward - though he always makes sure no one can recognize him while ‘performing’, he’s very afraid someone might recognize him anyway.
