Do you ever plan to move to orthodoxy ? or will you just stay as conservative
Frankly, I don't know. I love orthodoxy and I respect it and most of the jews I follow are orthodox (and women, funnily enough). But, realistically, I'm not in the financial (or emotional) position to be able to move like orthodoxy would require and the nearest orthodox area is in a city I wouldn't be safe in. I would fear for my safety in that city.
I love the conservative movement and I feel it serves me well for the stage of life I am in now. And frankly, movement matters very little to me: I love judaism, not movements. I love doing judaism, not in feeling like one "type" of jew is Better. I know that wasn't your question, but it's something I've been feeling.
