We were discussing this between all the European mods and came to the conclusion that we all mainly ate the same things for breakfast.

There are some differences in the kind of breads eaten, but other differences are also difficult to show as they are mainly region bound and not really on the country level.

Most of us like nutella, cheese, ham or various jams on our bread or cereals. Especially Kellogg's Trésor lol. We didn't want to make publicity though ahahah...

Yes the croissant actually originated in Austria. Which also explains the word "Viennoiseries." Anyway, French mod held a gun to my head and forced me to tell you that it is only "a certain" kind of croissant that came from there: the Austrian Kipfel. source

Anyway yes the Luxembourgish don't really have a word for breakfast. They just call it "to drink coffee." which is very hard to get used to if you don't drink coffee during breakfast.

Don't google translate for the Luxembourgish language, it's full of mistakes. It will just give you the German word if it doesn't know lol and Luxembourgish people don't like being reminded that their language is basically just strange German. Then there's an explanation on Hagelslag here: X. The most common use is to eat them on buttered bread but you can also perfectly well eat it straight from the box like some chocolate gremlin. Trust me on this, the hardest part is just trying not to cough because the clean up work is such a hassle. Yes, despite calling them muizenstrontjes. if it disgusts you there's just more for me.

It was actually different for me on fb that’s how I originally found it ;; (because they used that as an ad to grab the reader’s attention). But way to many didn’t read the article but use that to justify why they are right. It’s gotten pretty annoying at this point lol.

@m0chamilk while I disagree with OP, I can't blame them because not everybody knows Italian and google translator sucks, and probably they don't know that @kwaemul​  translated the article some days ago. Koogi never said that, but that phrase despite being misleading and not an actual quote by Koogi, has been translated correctly.  Tbh, the journalist is the only one at fault because she used as a title something Koogi never said.
