reading 'gray' is a lot like watching a car crash. the thing is that, having been the car crash myself, it truly puts things into perspective. the swerve, the road, the driver's seat, and all that.

Meow or M.
Used to be @/bokuakamazing.
I'm gonna set up a proper info post for myself but for now I'm sharing my simple one from Twitter just bc I want to make sure everything is a safe space for anyone following me!! I try to do my best to give tags for certain content but I may mess up and if it's not for you please feel free to take care of yourself first and foremost and unfollow ♡
Tumblr media
A note: I do not personally consume or share non-con content but some people consider high sex, heat/rut sex in A/B/O, and somno between consenting partners to be non-con so I have that there. I don't consume or share explicit assault content, including content with minors in NSFW situations at all. I do support CNC, which is an established BDSM setting between consenting partners who've set up limits before a scene.
Tumblr media
Adding incest to this list. Never really had to think about it until now.
Tumblr media
I am not a furry but some of the art is stunning but ik it can be an ick for some. I do share content like death, suicide, self-harm, eating disorders - exploration and also some trauma exploration. I write and may share content around torture because learning about it was a special interest when I was younger and I do still find it intriguing.
I share trans content that some young trans peeps can find triggering: bottoming from the front, non-op trans art/fic, and maybe some pregnancy content. (Pregnancy is triggering to me so this is very rare but I may share content discussing why telling trans men they can't get pregnant is transphobic and also informative posts/graphics about pregnancy and how to keep yourself safe should you become pregnant and are heading towards birth.)
I'm queer and ig agender, I kinda don't care. Preferred pronouns are it/its but as someone who's grown up half my time in Texas I understand that using them can be triggering, so he/him is also okay. My romantic labels depend on my partner(s) gender orientation. I love everyone in a gay way, so sometimes I'm a girlfriend, sometimes I'm a boyfriend, sometimes I'm a partner. I'm not here to debate it. If you can't handle that just leave now.
I'm a cult survivor, still deconstructing but 8 years free. I'm agnostic and do often share sacrilegious content so if that is something you're uncomfortable with I recommend muting tags like "sacrilege" and/or "sacrilegious" if you want to keep following. I respect religion and everyone's preference/practice, please respect my decision to not know who/what is in charge and not really give a fuck about it rn.
My interests atm(Aug. 28 2024) are: AFTG, Call of Duty, Haikyuu, Teen Wolf, Good Omens, Dead Boy Detectives, Our Flag Means Death, Interview With a Vampire, What We Do In The Shadows, and other medias I see every so often from mutuals. Sometimes I share art/writing of fandom I'm not even in because I like it. I'll usually try to copy in OPs tags for fandoms and characters and ships where applicable so hopefully tag mutes work.
My Twitter and Instagram are the same username as my blog title.
My AO3 pseuds(by fandom)
- ErlKönig (Call of Duty)
- WretchedLittleRunaway (AFTG)
- SquishySterek (Teen Wolf - very old)
- BokuAkAmazing (Haikyuu - old, not as old as TW)
I do have an Etsy store:
I sell my own merch designs/jewelry and also run my charity projects through here. At the moment I am running:
@sunshine-soap-zine - A huge appreciation zine for John Soap MacTavish (Call of Duty)
@aftg-pinups - an AFTG Pinup Calendar
@cobooty-pinups - A Call of Duty pinup calendar (second year)
My DMs and ask box are always open. I'm autistic so please use tone tags/clarify tone when you can. I'm happy to discuss things I'm in opposition towards but please know I do not owe you my mental or emotional health and can stop/refrain if I so choose.
Thank you ♡

Hello, friend!! Can I call you that? I'm not sure... I'm so sorry I didn't send an ask sooner! How have you been? I hope you've been well! Make sure you've been getting plenty of rest and water, and please do take breaks if you need them! I'm sure your event has been stressful to manage, and I've heard you had a lot of alt blogs on top of that! That's quite the juggle!
Please do fill me in on what's been going on since my last asks to you, my birds only tell me so much. No pressure, of course, but I feel as though you deserve to at least reflect on your accomplishments! Doesn't everyone need a confidence boost like that?
~🌻 Sunflower Anon, who has missed you dearly!
Sorry it's taken me a few days to answer you! I wasn't ignoring you or anything, just wasn't too up to answering and wanted to answer you properly! Always nice to see you too!
Hello! And sure! I'm perfectly ok with you calling me friend if you'd like! ^-^
And no worries about taking a bit to send another ask, send them whenever you want to and are feeling up to, don't feel bad if its awhile in between!
I have been ok, sometimes stuff can get too much so I try to step back for a bit and go with the flow a bit and focus on being ok again :3 The same goes back at you! Make sure to get enough rest and drink water and take care of yourself as well! ^-^
The event hasn't been too bad to manage, I most do things in the background, occasionally pull some strings and keep things organized as much as I can, which works great, I much prefer to work behind the scenes (While I am not opposed to spotlight, theres simply something nice about keeping all the lil details of something organized :3)
I certainly have a good few (not as many as SOMEONE I know, yes, I mean you Moonlight, they keep growing) But most of them don't get as much virtual traffic to them so I mostly do things on two 70% of the time which are this one and my main side one jestersdlc
Two other's are ask blogs, and those don't get asks too frequently so they mostly just chill there :3
And the last (known) one is a group one and that one is pretty slow on us all to update it, so it's not toooo bad :3 I can't remember exactly when your last ask was...(time wise I mean >_<) So I'll try my best! Not sure there's much to say tho :3
Idk if PDC was made before or after...but me and a pair of friends (whom you may know, Qwill and Sol) made an au blog called playdatecollectorau where we kinda shove a bunch of our au's together so we can have our beans have 'playdates' theres LORE of course, cause lore is awesome
Mostly just intro stuff on there atm but it's fun to have and plan
I have accumulated....more AU's, there is...so many for DCA au's there is....10 and a half (the half is PDC) (JDCAU, J-TOL, LOTC, MIW, LSAU, REDACTED, NBCau, ESSau, CTAMK and secret) along with a few TSAM's ones which there is...less of 3 and a half (Starboy, CuddleBug, SolarMoon and Dream Eater (which is the half cause its...all encompassing lets say)
And just recently got the SolarAndMoon blog up and running which is nice, they look real squishy
I have a couple little projects on the go or completed as well, a few oneshots have been posted (mostly on my side blog...) and am currently working on a mini series for Aromantic awareness week!
Certain characters are being...uncooperative...but I shall figure something out! (...moreso idk much on certain beans yet so its making it finicky to write them >_<)
and IT IS ARO WEEK NOW! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-
So that is exciting, excuse to wear green (one of my favorite colors) and spread awareness for aromanticism! Its great :3
AND new pronouns! Idk if you popped in last before or after that but that was a funky thing, I now use she/they and ey/em/eir so thats fun! ^-^
And I have a few lil secret projects of course :3
I think that sums everything up.....sorry for the really long response! Hopefully you don't mind >_<
I'm in ramble mode rn from rambling to my friend about certain beans being disaster bi's and a disaster lesbian and silly shenanigans for certain au's
How have you been doing? If you're comfy sharing of course, feel free to ramble in turn if you'd like! No pressure tho! ^-^
But remember you deserve a nice confidence booster too :3

Oh I definitely know what Nonnie's talking about here, and yes, some things do sorta overlap or counteract each other. Oftentimes I use ADHD tendencies as coping mechanisms for my Autism, or vice versa.
For example, Autism likes routines, yes? Meanwhile, ADHD doesn't necessarily have a preference about routines, but since it makes your brain jump around so quickly, leading you to forget things, having a routine you do on autopilot every day prevents the ADHD brain from forgetting a lot of daily necessities.
At the same time, it makes Autism brain feel more at ease and actually soothes a lot of anxieties caused by the ADHD brain, since you're so used to forgetting stuff that you're paranoid you've forgotten something again, only with a routine, you know you haven't.
On the flip-side, some ADHD and Autism things will actually feed into each other. I'm sound-sensitive bc of my Autism, and bc of my ADHD, I struggle to filter out background noise when I'm not hyperfocusing. As a result, my sound sensitivity is sooooo much worse bc I'm jumping at every sudden noise, even noises that are literally always in the background, like car motors or door latches.
On the other hand, sometimes, my tendency to hyperfocus (ADHD brain) will actually tune out any and all outside stimuli, making the sound sensitivity from the Autism LESS of an issue.
In addition, I have a theory that it's easier for people with both Autism and ADHD to mask their Autism around other people, because you're literally hyperfocusing on looking as "normal" as possible. It's not a healthy long-term solution and is most common among people who haven't been diagnosed or see their Autism as something bad, but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't still go into a temporary hyperfocus "I am mature adult" state in certain situations, like job interviews or watching large groups of children. I usually need lots of quiet time afterwards though.
Speaking of hyperfocus, ADHD has a similar thing called "hyperfixation," where you get really into a certain thing for while. Similarly, Autism has "special interests," which I would call "obsessions" before I was diagnosed. Oftentimes, special interests are complimented by hyperfixations, while other times, the hyperfixation allows you to do other things while also enjoying your special interest.
For example, my special interest atm is my fantasy writing project side blog @thewatchau. I think about it constantly, everything ends up tying back to it, etc. It's my pride and joy.
Sometimes, my current hyperfixation feeds into the watch au. People familiar with that blog all know about my tendency to spend a week doing nothing but working on maps for that world, then get tired and spend three days doing nothing but reorganizing all the masterlists, then a month or two later I'll come back and make a ton of maps again. Each of those are a hyperfixation that feeds into that special interest.
On the other hand, sometimes I'll hyperfixate on things outside of my special interest, like a school project or a novel. These hyperfixations don't invalidate my special interest, but they do encourage me to diversify my activities in a more balanced way.
I'm sure there are plenty other examples of ways that ADHD and Autism interact to either counteract or amplify each other's symptoms, but that's what comes to mind right away.
TL;DR: Yes, many ADHD and Autistic tendencies will serve to counterbalance each other, but those same tendencies can also make each other even more intense. It just depends on how they're directed, which is sometimes in your control and sometimes isn't.
Do you think having ASD and ADHD can cancel out some symptoms that are specific to having only 1 of them?
Well that depends on what symptoms/traits you're thinking of. In general, no, but in more specific situations, maybe.
