Everybody goes insane about Shadow (Who's 50+ years old) being simped for and calls it pedophilia, but not for Rouge because she's a teen with tits.

I don't want to hear about Generations or Forces adding to the timeline. The timeline of the Sonic games is about as consistent as parent favoritism on tiktok.

(sorry if you dont want people commenting on your rant, but i think the reason most people were upset about it is because this community has a bad rep when it comes to artists sexualizing characters that are minors and shipping them with adults, and devsisters failed to background check the artists and let some questionable art made by questionable people through. it was most likely unintentional, but they still should have been more careful about it. thats just my opinion though)

I did delete my rant post because honestly I didn't want people thinking I cared too much but I did... It was a quick let out of gas... BUT SINCE YOU SENT ME THIS ASK I CAN TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH CONTEXT MATTERS.

I am new here so I am now just learning this fandom's bad rep, however whenever I look into fandom discourse from every angle. And I can fairly say this was not that deep. I look at the people making these accusations, the artist that people may be calling out, and how a company handles out cries. This Valentine's day video did NOT need people to start discourse.... That video was wholesome and there were no minors being shipped with adults in that video, I don't know how that was brought up. Same with the accusation of whitewashing, you can't whitewash cookies, Karen.

I also found out it's 15-16 year olds making this accusations and I will tell you a little about myself and a very bold opinion that probably will get people angry, but 15-18 year olds think they are some of the most woke people in the world... While I'm glad they educate themselves they tend to blow things out of proportion.... While I do believe these are serious issues that probably need calling out they should not have use the Valentine's Video to base their accusations.

People also have to understand companies can not look at everyone... That shit takes time and effort. If they could do a background check on every artist that made it into the slide show the video wouldn't have been posted in time, and you know what they say about time being money.

So please support the good artist in the video, I have not seen any call out on any of the specific artist in the video as of now, and make this fandom enjoyable for newcomers and old players a like. If you do see art like that, report and warn others. Do not make a show of these things. That's all thanks for your ask! Back to art.
