I never said you used only She/Her for Gerard Way? I don't even think my reblog even brings up she/her pronouns at all. Or at least that's not how I thought it reads written down. So I'm sorry if the context there got lost through text, or if the way I worded it implied anything directed towards you. Unless you're talking about someone else and using my reblog to refer to them?
I was just providing context related to the tweet you used. As like I said, I feel like it's important context to bring up a direct statement of pronoun preference. And like I said I didn't have the order or what was said in-between. So thank you for the further context, it's appreciated to know the order in which they were made.
Now to make note for a statement you made above, the full set of four doesn't say Gerard doesn't want people to use she/her. In fact she/her isn't even brought up anywhere in that 4 tweet grouping. Just that they "have always preferred he/they" and that people can use whatever.
Which, like I originally said, usually means they prefer he/they. I didn't say someone saying the prefer he/they means they exclusively use that set. (I'm also not trying to be mean or undermine anyone's statement I just want how I, personally, saw that statement to be understood.)
(not directed at le-freaknasty) I also want to clarify for anyone else reading this, usually doesn't mean every single one nor does it mean always. Hence why I didn't say someone saying "I prefer he/they" always means they use only he/they.
I also am unsure where the last part of your statement comes from in regards to my statement, I never directly stated anything about gender identity. Only pronouns, which aren't indicative of what someone identifies as, and only are indicative of what someone wants to be referred to with. Unless the other tweet you linked mentions pronouns as well, which I can't see because, again, I don't use Twitter and thus don't have access to it(it prompts me to log in to view whatever tweet is linked). Or I suppose, you could also be speaking to others in that last part and not me, which is also possible.
In any case, sorry about the confusion. I just wanted to clarify why I said what I did, and give you a genuine response to what you said.
I am bad at callout posts because generally they suck but seriously can we stop using she/her for Gerard and acting like they’re a trans woman when he’s not. What the fuck happened to boys can wear skirts and makeup because it’s all just clothes and makeup without gender. Gerard’s stated pronouns are he/they and that is that. That’s all you need to know and it’s high time yall started actually respecting his pronouns.
[please reblog this one]
#vibe speaks#sorry you interpreted my statement like that#i also wasnt intending to imply anything on you so I'm sorry it apparently reads like that#and again#im not trying to be rude#im also not trying to argue#as I said previously i was just trying to provide context to the other tweet that i felt important#and then proceeded to provide tag-wise further context for why I wanted to include said context#i will say part of the reason im even reblogging is because im confused on your initial rebuttal in your reblog to me#ive read through my response a lot and still dont know why you felt the need to mention me stating you only use she/her for gerard way#unless i just completely missed something?#if i did im sorry that wasnt my intention at all#unless someone really takes my statements in bad faith or decides to claim i “piss on the poor” im probably not gonna reblog this anymore#i just dont want misunderstandings or misconstrued statments passed around from what i say#long post#and op im sorry about all this i know you didnt want debates or anything on this post#like i said i just wanted to add context to statements i see thrown around a lot
