ok so i'm intrigued by this so plz reblog or reply with your answers:

who was the first celebrity you remember finding out was queer in some way?? for me i think it was probably someone like gok wan, who i remember seeing a lot on british tv when i was growing up lol

#special mention would be george michael who i remember the media going on and on about his sexuality when i was young #but i think i didnt really understand the george michael stuff till a lot later hence why i mentioned gok wan instead lol #i also used to watch paul o'grady (who sadly passed recently) who was another formative queer public figure for me #but my examples are very british so i'm intrigued to know who y'all grew up with!#i imagine a lot of americans will say someone like ellen? but as for other countries i honestly have no idea and i'm super interested lol!
