I’m still confused but I’m working things out and feel a bit better about myself. I’m pretty isolated in real life so I’m not exagerating how thankful I am that you took the time to reply.

I think growing up as an autistic child with no support or understanding, and no diagnosis until I was 18, has deeply hurt me; in ways I wasn’t even aware of until now. I’m going to spend some time trying to understand my feelings and take better care of myself.
