it does suck a little when you don't get invited to things
#as much as i like to stay home and just chill#it'd be nice to get invited from time to time#and it's not like they're awful friends or whatever#i also haven't known them for long bc barely 3 months is technically not that long#and they're great and sweet and they've got good heads on their shoulders#and maybe they have planned this way before bc i did get into the friend group much later#but it doesn't suck any less u know#and like yeah maybe i should be the one doing the inviting#but like i've only been in this city for a few months#i have no idea where to go let alone 'go out'#and i really don't want to deal with planning shit and then it not happening bc ppl have other priorities#and i've been there before#trying so hard to be included in things#and only getting invited out of pity or as a last minute thing#and i've vowed that if they didn't even think to invite me then why bother inserting myself in a place where i'm not wanted u know??#idk man it's hard#i know i'll find the right people one day#but for now i'll chill on my own#bc if there's one thing i've learned#its better to like your own company#ramblings
