so in my creative writing class we're working in smaller groups and i ended up in a group with two other people who are also into horror LMAO i can only assume we'll just be here reading each other's unhinged pieces and hyping each other up every week for the rest of the semester

#i actually wrote a little bit of horror fiction for our first assignment. thought i'd give it a go and it was so fun #if anyone wants to read it let me know!#it's actually my first horror piece ever and the fact that my Horror Aficionado classmates liked it gives me hope #the idea of being vulnerable by sharing your art can be scary if you've never done it but it's worth it #my art deserves to see the light of day. even if it's a bit wonky and far from The Perfect Piece of Art that i originally envisioned #it's fine. just get it out there #i believe it's really going to be the best way for me to gain real confidence as a writer #i love that in our groups we're experiencing all this vulnerability together & growing as writers alongside each other #already one of my favourite classes ever #writing
