aside from crpgs the other genre im autistic about is farm sims. but because nothing can ever be easy i've been obsessed with them since i was 7 and have a complex about liking them before stardew / before they were cool. anyway i played 10 hours of story of seasons last night and it's bad! i need to stop complaining about how bioware got bad because the way these games went downhill in quality makes inquisition look like a masterpiece

#it's olive town. i played it when it came out and thought it was Fine but in retrospect it's really bad. even the latest harvest moon mobile #game is better and if youd have asked me 5 years ago i would NOT think that would be the case.#stardew is fine but i resent it for the impacts it's had on the genre... now every farm sim has to be 'cozy' and it's the go-to cheap #game people pump out with no effort #fields of mystria looks ok but like... im so tired of early access farm sims there's one every year #i AM eyeing up sandrock for when it goes on sale now it's pretty much complete tho... i like portia #currently not able to handle anything with mild peril like a 5 year old. so enderal replay is on hold until further notice #doing bad! well. i think im coming out the other side maybe but we'll see how it goes.
