December 29, 2022 - Hume's Bush Warbler (Horornis brunnescens) Found in the Himalayas from northern India to southern China, these bush warblers live in bamboo and other thickets in and around forests. Foraging low in thick vegetation, they probably eat invertebrates and their larvae, though the specifics of their diet are not known. They build ball or deep cup-shaped nests from dry grass, bamboo leaves, moss, and spiderwebs, lined with feathers on the ground or low in bushes or undergrowth. Females lay clutches of two or three eggs.
