#hugo really just went 'its me boy im the progressive politics in the face of rampant conservatism in your brain'#i cried like 7 different times. 5 of which were over 'you are sad every day'#god. old man from the 1860s way to be in touch with the collective human experience that transcends across centuries of capitalism!#his tone is so reassuring too like he really believes the future is on our side#its hard to be equally optimistic considering his text is still almost nearly identical to the current political situation but#idk the part where hes like yeah even the strongest and most genuine people can lose hope and question if there is a future#and then him using the space/sky imagery again to represent the progressive ideal that stands unflinching#man. okay sir i will do my best to analyze society and reconstruct it#i will keep going for you and my trans rights#appelflap.txt
